Those mushrooms looked lovely!
They very much did 😃
@Sheila, you are a connoisseur lassie, and I salute you! What you and I have to do is to convince Gazza to eat them.🥓🥓🌭
Gary if you can take one for the team and have a Phal, it’s about time you tried a lovely Mushroom stroganoff, I’ll even get Mrs P too cook it for you , on second thoughts there are limits for how we’d expect you too go and secondly Mrs P’s cooking maybe a step too far for even you 😂😂😂
They can’t be as bad as eating the Phall ! 🥵 that was a big old plate of food, personally I’d leave off the hash browns and I think it’s either beans or tomatoes, and I’d have tomatoes. Those mushrooms did look delicious ! Why not ‘give it a go’ 🤪
Yeah, c'mon Gaz, let's have a go at a mushroom. What is it you don't like about them, the flavour, the texture?
Enjoyed this one mate, looks like a great plate of food. Hope we can share a meal one day when I'm back in England. All the best
Send me an email 👍
Black pudding looked ace ! , I love my white pudding too , very popular in Southern Ireland. Hard to get in the uk
Robbie Robbie I love my white pudding essential on a proper breakfast 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
White pudding isn't difficult to get in the UK, Robbie.
Have a word with your local butcher who should be able to source it for you.
Failing that, have a look online.
The tinned tomato component of a breakfast is so odd to me. We don't do that at all in Ireland. Are they cooked or just warmed up from a can because they can be bitter. We do have grilled/fried fresh tomatoes which can be really delicious or downright soggy. Love a mushroom. I hope the cameraman likes them so they didn't go to waste. The sausages looked delicious. Thanks for the review 🙂
The cameraman lived the mushrooms thankfully, just warmed up in a saucepan 🤷♂️, sausages absolutely lovely, but a full Irish ( soda bread, white pudding and lots of love) perfect 🇮🇪
When we gonna get a cameraman reveal? also great video!
One day when he wants to no pressure 👍
That burger deal was incredible
👍🏼👍🏼
I think if you had cut the eggs as soon as the plate arrived, they would have been perfect.... Love to hear you say "fries" once in a while! LOL! (American here)
Fries, fries, fries lol 🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@GaryEats One more..... In the UK do you pronounce Cafe' like "calf"....as in a baby cow? I have never heard that before, so I am curious. Regional or all of the UK? Thanks, and I really do like your reviews....
Only usually in London is it pronounced like that
Tin tomatoes all the way get that brown sauce in there bit pricey but want isn't good job
Haha fair enough. It’s probably pricy due to its popularity
Gar I tried that 'Thindi' restaurant near my house in Dundrum Dublin and it's very impressive
Will do Jason. Thanks mate
The fact that you choose a wide range of food at all levels of cost spectrum so we can compare cost against excellence and is it worth us going there? is what makes your reviews superb , long may it continue Gary, a man of the people, excellent!
Thank you so much. I try to do as many cuisines and order as many things on the menu as possible (as long as it doesn't go to waste). Really appreciate it
Man of the people? 😂😂😂
@@michaelb2388what's your answer then?
Yep totally agree with this
Wide range of food? I personally think he has a limited palate, that being said I love the videos.
Get those mushrooms down you 😂
The cameraman had a go instead, can't waste them
Good to see you enjoying your food without the look of terror in your eyes that you had on the last one - you earned it.
Haha thank you!
You need to get over this mushroom thing Gary. They're great.
I wish I could!!
Mushrooms OK for me, yet I enjoy enjoy cockles and muscles but for a King's ransom I can't eat an oyster.
Horses for courses eh?
@@francisnewmarch6837 You really shouldn’t eat muscles - they must be very chewy .
😊
Blech! Dont eat parasites 🤮😆
If allergic reaction best to avoid - Clint was given a final meal - The Beguiled (1971 )
I used to drive so much North-South and back in the UK for work a decade ago when I was a consultant, and places like this are so amazing and such morale lifters. You pull over in your tiny company car, get a good meal, get back on the road and it's like you suddenly have a boost of energy and optimism that you will get to see your family, that everything is ok, that life is good.
Thanks for reviewing Gary!
A lovely comment. Spot on and thank you!
I also have worn that hat. I endorse this message.
Am so glad that you compliment the staff where it's due
I always try and do that in all the reviews
@GaryEats it really helps, because it's not always an easy job
The Super Sausage Cafe looks like it would be a fun place to visit. Let's see the camera man enjoying a meal. Good review Gary........Cheers.
Thanks for watching Daniel, do give it a go
This might be the nicest breakfast I’ve seen on your channel. A properly made breakfast is a thing of beauty.
Please do check out Paolo's Cafe review, it looked splendid as well!
@@GaryEats I was just about to post the same! That review was the first I saw of your work, Gary, on the day you loaded it 6 months ago, maybe? YT random 'you might be interested in this' selection - but I'm pretty sure you only had about 3800 subscribers back then. Many brilliant reviews since, all quality. Keep up the fabulous work!!
Gary, those mushrooms looked great 😆
They very much did Andrew 😄
Hi Gary ....Liverpool Kev here...I was speaking to a pal of mine this evening....... I met him nearly 44 years ago in The City after travelling down from Liverpool with a car and a sleeping bag haha...we both agreed that this sort of venue...transport caff...greasy spoon...will be a complete mystery to most people and not too far from now alas....It's easy to become over nostalgic...Who Roger Daltrey 80 years old today...can't be true..(fake news surely) and not everything from the old days was wonderful...let me tell you of a Sealink crossing from Jersey in the 70s to prove the point haha...but it's sad that these great British experiences will inevitably pass from memory...Thank you for asking if I was ok Gary...Always a treat to watch you...That posh buffet recently was astonishing .......But I would have to eat for three days solid to justify the expense....Looking forward as ever to new reviews.....Liverpool Kev....
Lol yes I don't blame you Kev. It was very expensive and I agree with you regarding the nostalgia element. Take care mate and all the best
In 1980 I was driving down to Devon on my third honeymoon. We pulled into a transport caff for supper. Fried or any egg was not available unless one was a lorry driver. I stood my ground, being an employer of drivers, often driving one myself, and they reluctantly served us eggs. Gary does great reviews!
This channel is on fire, Gary has the knack for making great food review content. Smashing it lad.
That is very kind Luke thank you 🙏
Another great one lads. I loves me mushroom’s me. 😂 That fry looked delicious. That would be my go to. I’m not really a huge burger person but that looked tasty. All in all, good value for money for what you get. 👍
Thanks so much Philip. Not too long until Dublin!
Great video again thanks Gary. Fresh tomatoes rather than tinned. I always say the sausage is the main event on the plate. The whole breakfast looked good. Good price! 😊
Yep, in agreement with you Alan
Good review as always gary. The breakfast looked good although the eggs were a bit overdone. Also very good price. Looking forward to seeing more reviews 👍👍
Can't grill mark tinned tomatoes lazy.
Yeah, a cheap sausage ruins a breakfast.
Tomatoes: I like both types, it's good if they offer both.
Has to be fresh roasted toms. Tinned are just lazy.
Yes it's a breakfast special!!! That tea looked proper! That's how I like it.
Good thick slice of black pudding which was a nice surprise and the ubiquitous hash browns which weren't. Sausages looked really nice. I like Lincolnshire sausages, though my favourite are Cambridge (pork and beef mix). The fried slice was cooked properly, not deep fried. I don't like tomatoes on my breakfast.
It's an 8 from me.
The burger in a Brioche bun !!!!! 😡 burger looked nice but a bit overcooked? Chips looked good. Nice and crunchy. I think the price on the burger was very good. I think that's an 8 too.
Excellent review again Gary and you've taken us somewhere interesting again. I love that.
I don't think that was a burn mark on the burger, Andrew. I think they just stamped the top of it with something as it didn't taste burnt.
Yes the tea was excellent and I enjoyed it. Thanks and no problem at all - appreciate you watching as always Andrew
Love the content Gary my family and I love watching your reviews in the evening. My only question is where was the classic “let’s give it a go”
Did I not say at the beginning 🤷♂️ thank you all for watching it’s really appreciated
What a waste of Mushrooms, they are so rich in Vitamin D....
Hey hey, who said they went to waste? The cameraman was ravenous
Gary 4 items on the plate were ok and three were not up to par at all! I would be honest I would have sent that fried bread back, that was literally charcoal 😂 overdone eggs, underdone hash browns! You were way to generous I think. Don’t know what award they have won but bloody hell 😂
👍🏻
❤ Mushrooms.
Good breakfast, meal. 8.5👍
@@GaryEats🤣🤣🤣❣
I have a lot of family in the area and we used to go to the Super Sausage regularly, when I was a kid.
Thanks for the review and the memories Gary!
So great to hear 😊
Stopped off here. Daughter was terrified by the bikers..they were unbelievable..loads of photos on the bikes, nicest bunch of blokes I’ve ever met.
Used to be a Support Worker for a guy with Downs Syndrome who liked motor bikes. Regularly took him to the local bikers cafe in Walton-on-the-Naze. The people there were fantastic with him - letting him rev up their bikes and just generally being so friendly. Never judge a book by the cover 😊
That is so wonderful to hear, it’s such a friendly place, that has put a smile on my face thank you 🙏
Not far from where I live, I always loved the Ace Cafe in London and this is a decent similar feel.
Yep. Ive got that one on the list and will give it a go Jim
Suppose you've heard poor Dave myers died yesterday. How awful. Dont mean to be depressing but what a lovely guy. Very, very sad💔
Anne I did but only after we posted, a truly lovely guy, I actually thought about taking the video down as such a gentleman who will genuinely be missed, really really sad 😢.
Thank you for commenting and have a lovely weekend
So happy for you that the channel has gone so well for you, well done Gary x
Very kind Harry thank you x
Let the British flag fly proudly ......
Agree with you 100%
Thank you Gary for another fantastic video love all your videos thanks for sharing your amazing videos love from Dublin
My pleasure Shane
So pleased to see you enjoying your food again Gary. The close up of the sausages looked amazing, Great value and a wonderful review as always.
All good Stephanie thank you, sausages amazing to be fair and thank you
Stephen ?@@GaryEats
Sorry Stephanie, for some reason it autocorrected. Massive apologies and thank you for your kind words as always.
😋😋😋 I am so hungry for that fry-up. The beauty/attraction of your videos is also showing us all around the UK. Cheers. Really look forward to future venues
Thank you really appreciated 👍x
Wow, Gary, almost 60k subscribers! And to think, I stumbled over your channel when you first started.
Your reviews are always so thoughtful.
Thank you for bringing us along!
Safe travels. 💜
Susan I appreciate you followed from the beginning, have a wonderful weekend x
The crunch on the fried bread sounded like you walking over gravel , love it. Square sausage all day long butchers lorne in Scotland 👍good video again sir
Thank you David the fried bread lovely but definitely not good for you lol 🏴
@@GaryEatsI didn't try not to unlock a KFC KFC breakfast or a McDonald's breakfast why don't you try something like an updated breakfast and updated breakfast or you do not I tried the Zinger burger what will it comes apart the Zinger burger from KFC and fell apart that there's two double burgers together you fall apart when I was trying to eat it in KFC last Friday the original Birmingham city centre won the Birmingham city centre one and I've got a restaurant now the food cost 850 in the original 850 for the cost of original menu with a rice curry and chips and cost £8.50 in Birmingham city centre McDonald's breakfast from Christmas Day
While Lorne is conveniently sandwich shaped, it's usually not very good quality sausagemeat, give me a high meat content Lincolnshire or Cumberland,
Been away with work so missed a couple of episodes but will watch them back! Great Review Gary, one of my favourite channels! 👍
Thank you, how was your trip away 🤷♂️
@@GaryEats quite good! Thanks for asking 👍
Great review again Gary that looked a really good huge fryup! and that burger and chips looked top notch and really good value ! 🙂 They know how to look after the bikers!
Spot on Graham, lovely stuff!
Thanks for another excellent review Gary, as always, we love that you give it a go.
Love that you're uploading so many videos for us to enjoy 🙂Still one of my favourite channels.
So very kind thank you very much
I could only eat 20 % of the food on that plate !!
How comes?
I didn't think much of that for £15 if I'm being honest. The eggs looked like battery ones, should be free range, burnt fried slice too.
Not a problem Mark. I thought it was a nice hefty portion which you don't always see
Hi Gary, glad you got over your Phall experience!
Thanks Sam, all good now 👍
As usual....... Great review. As for the tinned Tom's. Personally I love them. But also like fried Tom's as well. 2 similar but different flavours.
Thank you very much :)
What a pleasant meal Gary, excellent review ! I love mushrooms, does the cameraman eat your mushrooms? I’m typically a tea and toast type of girl but sometimes you need this kind of breakfast 🥰. As always, watching your fab channel from Laguna Beach CA. Looking forward to your next episode! 🏄♀️🏄♀️🐳🐳🍻🍻💕💕😎😎
Hello Linda and Laguna Beach 🏖️ the cameraman had a great day today lol
The presentation on that breakfast is immaculate. I’d definitely go there after watching this. I’d have to avoid the fried bread though 😂
This was really good and if you’re into your motorsport, the inside is fantastic
Didn’t look the best looking plate. Eggs toast black pudding over done ,hash brown’s under cooked. Sausage can’t make for that ? Burger not too bad. So best cafe on motorway maybe but didn’t impress him. Speaks for its self. Never 8and half never. But fair review
Fair enough and thank you
0:06 The town of Towcester is pronounced Toaster.
Is it really? Wow that's a mistake
@@GaryEatsIt really is, Gary 🤣
@@GaryEatsat least you didn’t say toe cester lol , great video mate
thank you
😂😂 lol
Another interesting and informative review which I really enjoyed watching. Always fun seeing a full english breakfast they can be so different in just what is included. Seeing the burger was a good choice too. Thank you for sharing Gary enjoy watching your adventures about the countryside.
Thank you really appreciated, have a great weekend 👍
Good to see you have recovered Gary 😊
Thanks 👍 and all good now
On the looks of the food
breakfast gets 8.5/10
The burger gets 7.5/10
Love the channel keep up the good up Gary
Awesome! Thank you!
I must say, being a traditionalist, hash browns don’t belong on a full English, they are the devils work.
Haha that's fair enough
Y'Know?
I live in Milton Keynes but have never eaten at Super Sausage as everytime I have gone there, the queue, has been out of the door and into the carpark!!!
That is enough to know how good it is 👍
No noooo 🍄🍄🍄🍄 for our Gary, but he is still a 'funguy' to watch 😂😂 i know, dont give up my day job 😮
Very funny thank you
Its a fry up as simple as that stop nit picking and eat it not play with it 😊
I did eat it Richard 👍
Nice bit of food, shame you don't like mushrooms 😊
It's very annoying, I wish I liked them
Im knocking you a point off for not eating those fantastic mushrooms???. Good review Gary
Haha that's ok, can you add that to the cameraman's as he ate them instead?
I’m a big tinned man but they have to be whole plum and not the diced stuff that’s meant for sauces
Great choice Nick I like them as well
10 September 2024 Hi 👋 there just had some Japanese Soup 🍲 with Shishumi mushrooms 🍄 Gary....might have some some Prawns and noodles 🍜 later! 😉😊😅🤣 wow what a meal yummy 😋 😍
I hope you really enjoy Helen 🌹❤️
@@GaryEats Hi Gary yes I did thankyou very filling indeed 😊 😉😅🤣💋❤
Если это порция на одного, то я даже не знаю, можно ли вообще съесть эту порцию за один присест... 🤔🙂
Приятного аппетита.
Lol Vitaliy
great see you again gary and camera man all best my friend another great video keep up great work
Thanks Paul - top man 👍
no problem gary have good evening 👍
You say eggs were overdone, for me they are cooked perfectly. Hate a runny egg. Love my egg yolks slightly runny on the top, firm below. 10/10 eggs for me!!
Each to your own Larry me a little runny
I don't like mushrooms either. There isn't much room for them in my stomach. hehe. Love your reviews.
Thank you very much, Paul
The mushrooms had no chance here. But why is it that hash browns are served everywhere these days? Anyone else remember when we had fried potatoes at breakfast?
Haha the cameraman had them
That breakfast certainly looked great, and the price makes it very good value.
The Super Sausage is only 23 miles from me, so I am going there tomorrow or Thursday to enjoy the large breakfast.
As far as the Isle of Man goes, I've visited there every year for the past four years, most recently in June just gone.
Yes, the Isle of Man meats really are top quality.
You should consider doing a review there. I can recommend the Falcon's Nest Hotel in Port Erin for the buffet breakfast, they also do an excellent Sunday roast dinner, however, you have to book for the roast as demand is very high.
Kind regards.
That is fantastic to hear. Please let me know what you think.
Hi Gary
I went to the Saucy sausage this morning. I had the monty with extra black pudding.
Great food, friendly staff, extremely clean premises and dog friendly.
As I'm a fun guy, I ate all my mushrooms.
I told them to check out your review.
Kind regards, Dave D.
Many thanks Gary...Once again a great review!...I must try this one!
Thank you Malcolm have a great weekend 👍
Mushrooms, A fate worse than Phal, Who thought it would be a good idea to add fungus to a Fry Up??? That Burger looked pretty good but sorry the fry up just dosent cut it compared to an Ulster Fry, mind you I would eat it minus the shrooms lol, nice one Gary, regards Gav
Thank you Gav will see you in few months time for an Ulster fry 👍👍
Hashed browns are an American invention. Sausages are a mesopotamian invention. Baked beans are a native American invention. Bacon is a Chinese idea. The full English breakfast doesn't have many English items...
Thanks for the information
Did you ever stop to think why it's actually called an 'English Breakfast ' ?
We never see you pay the bill Gary, are you sure you don’t just do a runner each time? 😜
Too old 😳😂
2:33 he says "cuppa tea" like brick top 😁
Really 😳
That looks really scrummy. Hey, when do we get to see the cameraman? xx
Perhaps in the summer. It's up to him!
Nice one Gary,
Picture perfect breakfast!!!
And that burger 🍔 looked tasty too,
Great upload
Great Thumbnail
Nice one lads,
Thanks so much David. All the best
Those mushrooms looked tasty. I know they don't appeal to your palate Gary but it would be a shame to waste them. I hope the cameraman gave them a go at least. 😋 Anyway the grub looked nice and I loved the décor and memorabilia inside . Fun review as always mate. 👍🏻
Yes, the cameraman polished them off. Don’t like wasting food and very nice inside 👍🏼
In my neck of the woods passed it a few times, never been in, always busy
Yes, very busy in there
That looks so tempting. Gary I'm definitely going to that place one day
You will enjoy for sure especially inside 👍
mushrooms, you and Beard have an aversion to them, I personally love them but im the same with black pudding, I always leave it
I love mushrooms too .i hope cameraman will eat them
Ah see thats where great minds think alike Paul lol, the cameraman had them :)
@@GaryEats hope he enjoyed the food as well
Evening Gary good to see you looking good and not a lot thinner after the curry yesterday! Cafe looked really well decorated. Breakfast looked Ok but I do hate tinned tomatoes on a breakfast. Can't eat black pudding either it looks like a burnt offering but know you love it Also, not being posh but prefer my beans in a ramekin. All in All not the best plate for me! However, do like my burger in a brioche bun so thats good. think 8 1/2 out of 10 is a bout right seeing as you were eating it and not me. Excellent vlog Gary as always.
Thank you Susan. Hope you're doing well, I'm not fussed about beans but understand why some prefer them separate. Thanks
@@GaryEats Thank you Gary I am doing ok thank you. Was worried about you yesterday though!!!! But did laugh! Sorry.
Black pudding is the highlight of any English breakfast. I di miss it. I’m vegan now. The vegan black pudding (v pud) with Richmond vegan sausages. I just cannot eat animals. The whole industry saddens me. I di eat eggs from my friends pet chickens :)
I understand, I respect you’re personal decision, fair play to you
Genuine question; and this is coming from somebody who was pescatarian for a few years and tried to eat vegan as often as I could ….. once you realise the mass slaughter of various animals, that large scale agriculture is responsible for, do you actually think you’re not responsible for the killing of animals?
I understand you said “eating animals” which isn’t the same distinction, but what are you actually achieving? Unless we’re growing everything naturally in our back garden, we all have blood on our hands.
Very apt today as of the sad loss of hairy biker 😢, love sausages and bikes perfect match
Ah very sad to hear Brian. Thank you 👍🏼
always tinned tom's for me Gary, look delish mate and yes the eggs needed to be a little more runny
Very nice Stephen 👍🏼
You must really strive to overcome your 'shroom phobia Gary!
I am trying!
Looks an interesting place, must say those mushrooms looked good, you really do need to try them. Nice enough breakfast and although I always choose fresh tomatoes, I’m going to have to give tinned a go 👍
That looked like a top breakfast 😊Will give it a go!!!!Thanks Gary 😊😊😊
Thank you and enjoy
Great video Gary breakfast & burger both looked good, I love mushrooms & yes generous portion thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for watching and commenting Lee 👍
Thanks for that review. It seems you can do no wrong in motorcyclist cafes. Nobody wants to get into trouble with a rider who's been exposed to the British weather (and Lucas and Amal's inventions) on a BSA. But that's probably not why they serve really good food.
Looking at the sign at 1:11, I'm already looking forward to your visit to the Bike Shed and Ace Cafe in London!
And be sure to try the mushrooms!
lol I will be doing Ace Cafe in the summer
@tsThanks That's great to hear. Thank you so much Gary for taking the time to answer! Could you please help me as a foreigner? Is the usual pronunciation Ace caff and caff racer?
And don't forget to put the Bike Shed on your list, it's one of the most amazing places I've ever seen and the food is good. Do "give it a go".
Cheers!
You ate the burger upside-down!
Schoolboy error my apologies
Looks a bit like Ace cafe just off the north circular
Going in the summer Paul 👍
The last time I seen a black pudding the size of that Guy Martin was tearing around the Isle of Man with two of them on his Honda.
Or Wayne Gretze was whacking it with an ice hockey stick!
It was a huge black pudding
My Ma used to make a full English that me and my bro called 'The Noah's Ark' - two of everything with mountains of shrooms and beans. Have to say, for fourteen quid that looks a steal. Got hungry watching this.
i feel the same about beans the way you do about mushrooms.
I understand Chris 👍
Well done with the channel Gary . Love your videos mate keep it up!!
Very kind John thank you
Hello Gary. Another really enjoyable review. Your vlogs are informative and fun little gems. Btw you look much happier at the cafe than you did at the Mughal Dynasty the other day. Nuff said. Take care now.
I did Colin a bit more relaxed today lol thank you 😂😊
Just down the road from me! I can confirm once riding season begins this place is heaving
It’s a brilliant cafe Matthew 👍
Love the channel, not really a foodie but i just enjoy watching. Ace cafe and caffiene and machine are two suggestions. Keep it up my guy
Thanks! Will do! I’m going to Ace soon
I won't eat raw celery or avocados!
No problem Michael
'Looking forward to this one!'. My thoughts exactly Sir!

I'm so glad as a lifelong biker you have done this review Gary, well done, this place admittedly a bit above the norm wish I'd known about it. I remember making a two hour trip to Squires near Leeds only to walk out, the place stunk, your feet stuck to the carpet, and the spoons for your coffee were in a filthy pint glass of water, not for me.
You're more than welcome David. Had this recommended to me many times so only right that I gave it a go!
