Hello Steve, great video, I also have the 8" display, but without any connectivity options, so I can only update it at the dealer. I noticed in the video that your Bronco has Wi-Fi update capabilities. Could you let me know what version your SYNC 4 is on with the latest update you've received? I'm asking because my Ford dealer insists I'm on the most recent update, but I know that's not true since I'm still on a two-year-old version. I've seen many users report multiple updates for their Broncos in 2023 and 2024.
Thanks Emil! This one was a dealer demo so I don't know what the current software version is but you can check the current version you're on under Settings --> System Updates --> Update Details Check out this link to see if your vehicle is actually up to date or if there's an update available: www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/
I have a 2023 big bend, sasquach package...does it come with rear camera grid lines? Mine doesnt have them but i swear when i first got it, it had some
You'd have to find a 12" replacement, cut out part of the center stack for it to fit and reprogram the new screen but not impossible to do. It would be pretty pricey vs just getting it from the factory
Clever idea marking the Apple and Android relevant portions of the video separately for easy skipping. Great video. Thanks for doing this.
Glad that people actually like these chapters I put in haha. You're welcome!
Thanks for the video, I've been trying to figure out the Sync 4, without sitting in my Bronco all day.
You're welcome! What build did you go with for yours?
@@CarsWithSteve 4Dr Big Bend with mid package
@@ianvissers750 Good stuff, hope you're enjoying it!
Thanks, I could not figure out how to go from CarPlay back to the menu.
You're welcome!

The 2023 should have it if you went for the 222a mid package that also has ambient light, rear parking sensors, blind spot system etc.
set playback speed at 0.75X
That seems to be the sweet spot for these walk throughs
Can i buy the bronco with the 8 inch screen and then change it to 12 inch later ?

So I can’t watch videos on my CarPlay lol
not available as a factory option, would be nice if it would at least give the option if the car is stationary
