Great build and swap.the swap would vastly improve performance and gas mileage over the old 307,305 Chevy small blocks of the 80s era. One question what battery are you using once the swap went in? Also what axel you using?
Maybe I'm getting old but l much prefer this Cutlass over a brand new Camaro SS like the gray color no vinyl top the only thing with these cars is the 7.5 rearend if you got a 8.5 rearend out of a 1984-1987 buick GN it comes with a much better 8.5 rearend probably could put in a Ford 8.8 out of a 1985-2004 mustang GT with the right offset wheels l think it could work it's close to the same length very nice car love G-bodies this one is sweet l am a big fan of Chevy LS engines the power reliability and durability surpasses the old style smallblock by any other manufacturers and equals the power of a bigblock in a lighter higher revving package have seen modified 6.0 and 6.2 liter engines on premium pump gas run with and many times out run modified 396 427 454. 496 502 bigblock Chevys running premium pump gas not to mention the LS will without a doubt last at least twice as long as these bigblock engines and in many cases the LS engine is giving up 20 to over 100 cubic inches to these bigblock Chevys

@@Zero2SixtyPerformance hi how many kind of converters do you have on that car ??? Because I have a 84 Buick regal and I'm doing the same thing on it I'm putting a LS1 motor..
I got a crossmember for my 1984 Monte Carlo SS from honest charlies he specializes in g-body parts a long time ago in the late 90s for a 700r4 transmission when the car had a old style 383 smallblock in 2008 the engine was swapped to a LS2 and the header collectors didn't line up with the humps in the crossmember so my mechanic cut it in half and rewelded it back together painted it and installed it its still in the car and have never had a problem with it l don't think Honest Charley sells these anymore but jegs sells one that looks identical for 128 dollars it will need to be cut and rewelded so the collectors line up with the hump on the collectors hope this helps
I used NVU Gauges with a GPS Speedo and about 50% cheaper than Dakota. NVU will also custom screen print you any design for your gauges. I tried to get something custom done through Dakota and after they took my credit card info, 2 mos went by before I saw their first draft of what I requested. By that time, I already had my NVU gauges.
Nice bulid looks like high quality work but whats the Hp to the Rw??? Thats the main thing to all LS swaps or why even do one if yur not trying to make more power thats reliable isn't that the whole reason for a swap lol
