We installed a Dakota Digital gauge cluster and did a little wiring to take advantage of the paddle shifting ability of the Holley Terminator transmission control. This 1969 Pontiac Firebird came to us as a bare shell and a bucket of bolts. We pulled a 6.2 LSA engine and 6L90e transmission from a 2013 Camaro ZL1 and installed it with a mount kit from Holley and Headers from Hooker. dude used a 91-94 explorer radiator, s10 headers with the passenger header flange moved 2 inches lower and had to smash the back of the firewall back a little.
I thought SS were bucket seats with floor shifter?

Just the speedo cable. You will use the speed output wire from the pcm to box and then power and grounds

Well there really is no correct answer. There is a plethora of cams out there based on a ton of variables. The Truck Norris cam is very popular, sounds good and works well on a completely stock engine. Hope that helps

There isn’t really out there as a “kit”. If I remember correctly someone was making the engine mounts at one point. Other than that you are kinda on your own. It's a hot 🔥 mess. 350, 355, 383, 396, 400, 427, even 454 carbureted on Old School unless you don't own a screwdriver and have real car guys who don't want to rob you. P.S. if you haven't Changed your Oil in a Year😘 We are done here.

Has so far on multiple projects. Will I recommend it for something that will be abused, no, but in something like this it has worked out great.

I'm looking to do a V8 swap but I need to stay emissions legal in Colorado. Any chance the dash, computer are compliant?
I don’t see why the dash wouldn’t be. The pcm on the other hand may be a different story. If they require to plug into a DLC to check system statuses or check engine codes.. no.
Was wondering what convertor you ended up using with that combo?
It’s a stock 80e converter that we just loosened up. If I had to put a number on it.. 2800.

Yes you will. I would recommend going with the Holley swap kit

What did you get that for l80 for from? And can you use a all-wheel drive transmission off a Tahoe or 4l60 for a El Camino? Would it work same thing as a Cutlass? Really nice. Really nice build. I like how clean it came out. That's exactly how I want my car to look
Rwd 2500 truck. Awd would not work without changing the tail shaft. 4l60 fits in Any g body
