  • This Ls Swapped G Body is a 1983 Oldsmobile G Body cutlass that has an ls1 engine, disc upgrades, new led lights and so much more. In this video we talk about the history, and everything we've done to the Cutlass. It's still an ongoing project that my dad and I have been working on for many years. Man bro, what a awesome story. Pops just pass me his 1982 cutlass supreme that he has had sense 1996 and just pass it to me like 1 year ago and Its sitting on the back yard due to engine overheating. I'm trying to figure out how to swap a Ls Engine. I'm kind Lost and unexperince in what are the steps to put on and Ls Engine. This video will be very helpful to me. I've been working hard and saving to get this project started. Thanks for sharing this video. I appreciate

Thank you very much I really appreciate that! That's awesome that your pops gave you his car...the sentimental value on that cutlass to you is going to be priceless! I think it's amazing that you want to Ls swap it! I know how it feels to not be sure where to start, but I'm sure you can get it done. If there are any questions that I can help you with ill be more than happy to answer them and guide you anyway I can. Comments like this is what makes making videos all worth it! I truly enjoyed the back story why you wanted this car.
The time you spent wenching on it with your dad is priceless.
I also have the first car I bought back in January of 1979 a Chevy Malibu .
It has not been a daily driver since 1991. Time goes by children grow up
parents leave us . When I drive or work on it yesterday becomes today.
Sometimes the past makes the present easier.
I shared all that with you because I believe you get it.
    Enjoy
    Mark

Memories that I will always carry with me until my last day here on this earth. Luckily I still have my pops to help me out in present projects with this car and I love that! I hope I can do the same with my son, and make memories with him with this same car someday. I get exactly what your saying in this comment. I think it's super awesome that you still have your first car!!! I would like to see a picture of it someday sir. LOVE it brother! Love this video as much as your car! What a cool guy the way he gives so much credit to his dad and didn't even seem angry with the shop that got a few things wrong on the car. Just a good, honest guy that loves his ride because its HIS! I've always been a 3rd gen F body fan and my son and I have owned a few. Been looking hard at some G body's as my grandfather had a beautiful 84 cutlass with t tops that he waxed so much my dad used to say that he was going to wax the paint off of it! Your story has inspired me! Thank you!

Thank you very much I appreciate that. I think it's pretty cool that your working on a Cutlass yourself! I bought the fittings for the AC lines online, and put them together the way I wanted them, and had a local business here in my small hometown press the fitting on the hoses for me. Any shop that works with hydraulic hoses should be able to press them for you. The air intake honestly I don't know where it was bought, or the brand. It was a piece one of my buddies had, and we cut it to fit. I do know I went with a K&N air filter, because I bought it myself. I would like to know more about what you have done so far on your Cutlass. Sorry I wasn't more help on those 2 questions you had for me.
