    You guys are expecting! That’s awesome news, congratulations!
    I have a conical burr grinder and have been curious how the flavour profile differs to a flat burr. I have been rocking the Breville Bambino for almost 2 years now and still love it. Modded with an IMS shower screen and 18-22g IMS basket and amazon naked portafilter. Thanks for the video.

      Yeah the flat burr in my experience helps bring more chocolate and Carmel flavor out

    Doesn’t look like you ever put out a video comparing the MiiCoffee and Turin versions of the DF64 gen 2. Which did you decide is better, and why?

    Nice and informative comparison. The overall volume of the video is rather soft and we couldn't hear the questions posted by the live audience as there ae no microphone with the lady asking the questions on behalf of the audience.

    I have the DF64V, and it's an absolute joke. The adjustable RPM is a lie unless you're over 1000 rpm, which I don't remember being advertised before it launched. I was in the first batch, so it constantly stalled. Tried installing the new board, which didn't work. Had to thump/click the exit chute because it clogs every grind. 2 of the 4 magnets in the chute have popped out. If you get it thinking it's a cheaper Lagom P64, absolutely not. I've never regretted a purchase so much... I'd rather hand grind with my 1zpresso x pro than use the df64V.

      Yeah it’s truly sad 😢 that this grinder is as bad as it is since it’s more than the df64 gen 2

      @JoeyVaracalli I'm considering the df64 gen 2 with the ssp brew burrs, but I feel so burned by the df64V I'm holding out. I'm too impatient to wait for the zerno, and I can't rationalize the price of the P64.

      DF64, is it a brand name? who is making it? It seems to me there are so many DF64s there!

    I'm currently having trouble deciding between the DF64P and the DF64 GEN2. Do you have any tips for me?

    • @JoeyVaracalli
      @JoeyVaracalli  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Well I would generally not go with the p. If you want best value go df64 gen 2 or if you want the best possible mostly speed upgrade go df83

    • @ronpower7790
      @ronpower7790 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      DF64P probably still is shipped with Italmill burrs, best option for darker roast, best espresso range not suited for drip coffee. easy to clean with 2 screws removed... doesn't have a plasma generator, which reduces static and saves nerves...I ordered a Gen2 but I will install Italmill burrs...Gen2 comes with a DF own burr design, which more suited to modern espresso tastes not classic Italian style.

    This is the first time I’ve heard the 64v being the worst of the three. Any of the comments I come across on various formats it’s the 83 that gets the most negative talk.

      @@JoeyVaracalli The one thing I’ve read about the 64v is that WDT is almost mandatory, which kinda would bug me but I do it for my wife’s brew. When I grind 17g’s for espresso on my 64 gen 1 I don’t need it.

    Gen 2 rocks, V sucks. With everything they have learned from gen 1 why in the world would they think it’s a good idea to not include a plasma generator on the V?! It makes zero sense or it would have been great. Also no direct to portafilter option. V gen 2 should be good if they include one for static
