2014 is the first year of CVTs in regular Civics. Honda’s CVTs have gotten better in 2016 but their earlier CVTs and older transmissions were not the best of transmisions
The 2012 civics were horribly made, the plastics for the interior were poorly made that it can be broken very easily, it was reported the 2012 Civics has lots of wind noise, in windy weather the noise gets earbleeding that makes you deaf in one second
I have a 2015 Civic with 120k miles, its been good so far
You should have done a followup on what happened to the transmission and what it took to fix it. Can you tell us now?
Not the honda breaking down 9:15
Wow, I should buy this as my first car instead.
How do you get to review this cars? Do you work at a car dealer?
I used to, I just have relationships with management/owners of these stores.
Better year bc I think 2012 they put cvts in them

Own one. The wind noise isn't great.
