I’m almost the same as you. since I went to college and started seeing people who were different from me I started to lose my confidence because we are all in high school on a similar level. I’ve never seen people who are rich or have many experiences and talk about things I don’t know lol
For me confidence is being comfortable in my insecurities. Like I'm insecure about my hair, my eyebrows and my feet🙈😂 but I get my confidence knowing that I'm imperfectly perfect.

Doesn't matter because this mental traits usually come from positive thoughts of having a positive personality is ingrained within the subconscious mind you just don't wake up one day and boom you r confident all of a sudden you need to work on it little by little each day adding positive thoughts in your mind that will change your personality into a positive one that's what I am doing currently because for some reason I think I am not good enough to be a good boyfriend but those thoughts r probably stem from my poor teen age years which I was extremely shy which I never looked girls in the eyes and shit like that but I'm growing everyday peace out✌️

@@Mel-kb3ww I would say don’t give up, it easier said than done I know , but it’s true. I would start small like writing down affirmation then go from there. What are your passions? As for me I feel like I’m getting there I’m more further looking back from where I started.

I have a big forehead and I’m “fat” (even tho my friends tell me I don’t and I’m not, trust me it’s true) and I play this role that I am confident but I’m not at all. I feel bad and ugly. I’ve never had a boyfriend or went on a date and I’m 17, so I feel really ugly when most of my friends (who are around 18 and 21) have boyfriend or have attention. Im not jealous, my friends are so beautiful !!! I just feel ugly. Your video really helped, it’s the first time I see you in my suggestions and I will definitely subscribe to your channel

If it helps at all i also have a big forehead. I'm ethiopian we all do haha. I've been trying to lose weight on and off since I was 13 years old and im 22 now. I didn't finally begin to lose weight until I developed a healthier relationship with food. Even now it's not perfect, but still trying.
Also sis you're 17! that's still so young but I know what you mean. I didn't get into my first relationship until I was 21 so I'm a "late bloomer" haha. But from my experience and the people around me getting in and out of so many relationships is no fun it hurts. Trust God and His timing. There is a season for everything. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)
Make sure your confidence is rooted in WHOSE you are - aka God's child. That automatically makes you a princess of the King of Kings. That makes your worth so high!! have to affirm this to myself daily.

girl, i just wanted to say that i’m blonde, skinny, and 16, but i’ve been insecure my whole life. this past year i’ve done a TON of self improvement, and i PROMISE you, everything you need, you have. :) all my friends got boyfriends before me, and my first one was when i was 14. it was a long distance relationship, and the guy was really weird, but that was what i thought i deserved. i was SO sad and insecure all the time. i promise you, it’s so worth it to build up your confidence and love yourself first. when you love yourself, you can take on the world. you are beautiful!! EVERYONE feels ugly, and that has taken me years to understand. but the second you change your mentality is the second you change your life. i hope this helps. god bless :)

How to built confidence:
-dont put confidence/your value into the hands of other people
-dont put worth into physical things/temporary things/things you cant controle
-value lies in yourself !
-value does not lie in the Action of other people
-no one else can be you
-comparison is the theif of Joy
-be the best Version of yourself!
-when jelousy comes up, push it down and do something to fill the void
-be open about feelings (Journal, talk about it)
-make graditude things about things you love about yourself (internal)
-Dissconect from social Media
-Go out with people you love
-Unfollow people that make you feel bad
-learn when to say when
-self awareness is streghts
-it can be scary to feel self love at first
-it will be rewarding later on
-identify the reason why you are feeling that way
-Do things that are specific to you

Self love has always been an issue for me. I know u can’t love anyone if you don’t love yourself but in reality I don’t think I will be able too. It’s been years.

You got this! I go through that sometimes too, but at the end of the day, there is an abundance of love everywhere you look! Love doesn’t always have to be romantic or anything, as soon as I realized that it’s been better for me because I’ve been able to feel all the love that the people around me are willing to share with me wether it be friends, family, people online, pets, etc. You’re amazing, never doubt it!

It is something I’ve been working on for 2/3 years.. It seams I can’t be confident... I’m still working on it but it’s been hard.. I’ve a toxic family and friends, I’m trying to get ride of them but they put me always down. It’s like the things you say are not true if you know what I mean, for me it’s been impossible I fear a lot, it doesn’t allow me to believe in myself and feel worthy I feel that I’m less then others. But still your videos have been helping me it takes time but I hope to get there one day.
