Hello. After replacing the steering wheel and adjusting the geometry, the steering wheel turns to the right, no error and calibration corrected, where could be the problem, thank you for the answer, Jozef.

Thankyou for the video. Is it possible for the steering angle sensor to break/ fail during whilst replacing the clock spring? It was working fine before, but since transferring it to the new clock spring everything (DSC, ABS, Hill Descent, cruise control, etc...) has all failed and it can't be reset. The reason for changing the clock spring was that the horn was only working when the wheel was in a turned position, and never when it was straight.

The clock spring is shooting out causing that problem. You will need to replace the clock spring and preform a steering Angle sensor calibration.

I crashed my 2017 Forester and busted the rack and pinion; no srs issues. I swapped it out and now ABS, hill descent, cruise control, ect., is on. I've read that I need to recalibrate the steering angle sensor. Do I need to replace it or is it possible to just recalibrate the unit on there now? No SAS warning. Also, I have yet to take it for alignment, trying to plan ahead before wasting my time.

You need to calibrate it and all lights should go away.

Thank you for the video. I have a 2012 forester with EPS that fail when I turn the steering wheel slightly off center to the right. At that angle a grinding/groaning sound can be heard emenating from the steering column inside the cabin(it seems). The EPS light then comes on and I have to switch off and on to regain EPS. Sometimes I have to wait a few minutes and other times second. It has gotten progressively worst. Any advice?

      Thanks for your question,
If you have access to a scanner go to ABS data and check the steering angle degrees when the steering wheel is straight. Let me know. It sounds like you have a bad clock spring assembly.

@@quickautomotivediagnostics8728 ti will get that done and let you know. Thank you very much for your advice, I'm looking forward to your next video.
