Got one too. It is so good for the price. Especially the trem I go crazy no holding back full octaves and shit with a lot of pressure on it. Thing can take a beating I assure you (expect no less from an EVH trem). A few teething issues with action.. go too low you get choke on some bends.. but go high enough to not choke and it feels too high to me. It's a very delicate balance so takes some setup for sure.

Hiya, yes I forgot to mention that in the vid (I forgot a few things actually) - apparently that's how Eddie liked it, so the pickup selector positions are reversed from how they are on, say, a Les Paul. I don't have other guitars with the pickup switch in that position so got used to it very quickly. It's a brilliant guitar!

The wolfgang standard is a great guitar for the money. I bought a ziricote top standard and a Miami blue special and honestly I think the standard sounds better. I also like the forearm cut. I kind of wish the standard came in Miami blue also, I'd probably end up selling the special.
Yeah, I love the miami blue! I think they do some really nice finishes on these guitars. Really love the koa on mine. Quite fancy the matte olive drab one at some point. Really like the gold one too. Like most of the finishes to be honest... Lol
Nice review and really nice playing. The guitar appears to be very responsive with great attack and dynamic range. QUESTION: what amp/equipment did you use to get that cool sound?

Beautiful guitar. If you get a good one yes they are unbeatable. Mine arrived with less than top-notch build quality. My high frets on the high e string need some work. The pickups are similar to the U.S. model but they are very different sounding guitars. I have a U.S. Wolf as well and it is a very high-quality instrument that will last a lifetime. I just bought a Jackson Dinky, the cheap one, and it is much better built than the Wolf Standard. Absolutely flawless in fact and I've been looking for a reason to fault it. Can't find one. Maybe I got a good one, I don't know. The pickups aren't as good as the Wolf so I may swap out the pickups.

No, I like the slightly narrow feeling width. Different strokes for different folks I guess but I like every aspect of the neck on this 👍🏻

In my experience there’s good and bad guitars at any price range… reaaaaallly frustrating when you get a bad one though isn’t it.
Go and have that cup tee..Are you Lazy..read the paper!
