    Great job all around! Feels good knowing when you lay down at night that she's back the way she was! You have inspired me to have the courage to remove my fairings to do a oil change myself!! Removing the fairings was always a issue for me to try and accomplish but after watching you tinker here and there and taking the time to figure it all out I believe I can do the same with the level of skill set I have .ride safe brother good luck

      Thank you Matthew Cartelli for the kind words. This was my first attempt at removing the fairings. Not that bad after I learned the ropes. Hope everything goes well with your oil change.

      I like the larger busa symbol on 2019 better than the smaller one on the aftermarket fairings

    Great video. I have a 2014 Hayabusa that I have to do the same thing with. My question is where did you get your new fairings? I was dreading having to get them painted. Thanks.

    I got the same bike as your. My tip over on the right side when taking off the rear stand.

      When I put mine on the stands I make sure some one is holding the bars with the brake on. I guess thats one of my fears is it going down while putting on or taking off the stands. Hate 2 hear that yours went dawn. Sucks!

    Where did you get the heat shields from

    • @BentOaksGarage
      @BentOaksGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It all came from Partzilla. I believe the cost for the heat shield was either 25 or 45 bucks.

    Did the fairings come with the foam inserts? if so, where did you order your fairings?

    • @BentOaksGarage
      @BentOaksGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everything was ordered from partszilla. The sticker on the front did come on it but the foam heat shield did not.

    Were you able to get the replacement fairing direct from Suzuki? If not, who sourced it? Same issue with my 20

    • @BentOaksGarage
      @BentOaksGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Partzilla was where I got mine. The fairing did come with the sticker already on it (they sell it separately so I assumed I had to buy it)

      @@BentOaksGarage Thanks for the info. My wife will love me even more after purchasing. I bought the bike at a discount w/650 miles due to this "issue", it isn't bad, but I want it fixed. Thanks again.

      @@jameshouston6209 just an FYI, but it help if you place the order by phone. I also believe they give a military discount if you're also a vet.

      If you view my other video that says Ouch, 1200 damage, I list all the part numbers. I ordered everything from Partszilla. If you call them they can tell you if they have the parts in stock or not.

    HI,
    Do you know what are the torque specs for stator cover bolts..??

    • @BentOaksGarage
      @BentOaksGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe it was either 6 or 7 foot pounds, or 72 to 84 inch pounds. It wasnt much.

      I called in my order at Partzilla. None of them were considered oversized and the lady told me exactly when they were going to arrive. Everything came wrapped up very well, no issues. I have the list of parts I ordered in the video "2019 Suzuki Hayabusa fell off its kickstand" Hope this helps.

    I seen this video about 2 months ago. I was thinking how in the hell did it fall over? Shit just happened to my 2019 busa same color and everything. Rolled out of the garage into the driveway and went in the house. Came back outside and there it lay on its side. I’m so pissed at myself for not making sure my stand was right.

    • @BentOaksGarage
      @BentOaksGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had a subscriber send me a video of his bike falling over in his driveway at night. You would think by now that Suzuki would recognize this issue and modify that kickstand from the factory!

      @@Gideon_Judges6 yes, I have another video about a gen 3 hitting a dear at 75 mph and the dealer actually made the mistake of starting it and letting it sit (while getting its first oil change) and sure enough it vibrated right off the kickstand. So both gen 2 and gen 3 have this same issue.
