This is absolutely beautiful! I am so impressed! Just have to add that it was brilliant to spot another Swede in the beginning when you said “I’m back with another speedbuild”, and the way you pronounced speedbuild gave it away right away 😁 Thank you for the building inspiration! 😍🤗
I tried a couple of times to do something with this lot but always gave up, it's so big it's intimidating. I love the way you went out the design, going ahead and tackling the size of the place and actually increasing the size by finishing that deck area. The mannequins are a great idea. They're elegant and take up just the right amount of space, fill in the empty places I would be tempted to fill with plants which would not look anywhere near as appropriate. The clothes racks will be interesting to test. The fake ones work so well too, as do all those tables with the shoes and handbags. It's definitely hard to find any shopping clutter for men. At one point I think I had stacked men's sweaters or shirts or something but they were quite old and didn't look very nice. The coffee shop looks warm and inviting particularly with the bookshelves and nice comfortable couches and armchairs. It has the feeling of somewhere in that large space to sit and relax for a while and your idea to use it for college students is a good one. I think there's a mod that encourages the use of bookshelves on community lots which might be interesting to use if you don't have it. I'm really interested to see how that space works. I don't usually see anyone buying coffee for some reason. The wedding shop is wonderful! Those paintings of rings that you've hung on the walls are perfect there, so romantic. I really like the way you set up that staircase and would like to take a closer look at that. The outside plants are very well done too, and the stone walls (I love those!), and your choice of streetlights and the parking lot. Your lighting in general is always so perfect and it's fun to watch you set the lamps up and turn them on - so pretty! I could go on and on! You'll have to bring some of the residents over there and show us how the place works. I would love to see it! Thank you for sharing this with us!

Hey, just so you know - with the way you put the driveway and the other parking spaces, Sims still won’t actually drive into that space with their cars. There needs to be at least one empty space either side of the driveway for it to work, and those parking spaces count as non-empty space. 🙂
Hi! 😊 No, the way I placed them is fine. The imporant part is that the driveway isn't overlapped by the decorative parkingspaces. But there's no need for extra space in between the driveway and the parking spaces. At least: it's always worked perfectly for me on my lots. 😊

At 0:03 that wooden raised up decking (which holds up upper balcony) always confused me.. its literally foundation built over foundation, and attached tile-to-tile to 4-step standard one... Never such thing appeared again in game... Its difficult to bulid it that way even with cheats, and max 3 times I have seen it in custom lots...
I agree! I like that they did something different, and the lot itself is such a classic icon :D But yeah, that raised lattice foundation confuses me too.

Oh my gosh I LOVE this!! How did you end up getting the fencing to work on the stairs? And do you use any lighting mods? Mine always ends up going wonky when I'm building and I need to reload the lot to reset it.
Oh thank you, Ana 🥰 Do you mean putting down the fence that didn't want to go on that last tile above the stairs? It finally worked after making the descending piece only two tiles long with help of the stage tool. I think the longer piece had more tiles reserved above it or something. I use Gunmod's Radiance Lighting System ❤ It's amazing. Sounds really annoying to have the lights go wonky when you build, and having to reload the lot 😮 If you'd be interested in getting the same one I use instead, I recommend getting it together with Numenor's Scriptorium. That way you get an automatic installation of it 😊 And the Scriptorium is amazing too, if you don't already have it ❤
