The stock Schecter pickups are that good, because Schecter started out originally as a replacement pickup company, in the 70's. They were the first who designed humbuckers with coil-split functionality, even before S. Duncan or Dimarzio. They also made replacement necks & bodies for Fender models, before eventually started making their own guitars. So they really know their stuff, when it comes to designing pickups., their Schecter USA pickups are even better.
@@richardclarkmoore Another fun fact about Schecter: they're owned by the owner of ESP Guitars, Hisatake Shibuya. Schecter went bankrupt in the 90's and was bought by some investment group from Texas, they later sold it to Shibuya-san, who put a former senior Schecter guy in charge and brought the company back to California. That's why the Made In Japan Schecter models are made by the ESP factory.
anything with a satin finish is a big plus for me personally, feels way better than gloss poly. been eyeing schecters for awhile might finally get one.
@@SubutaiTuul I’ve played a Tele style evil twin, and it was a great guitar. Haven’t tried the Solo II evil twin but I’ve played other versions of that shape and the ones I’ve tried are pretty damn good!
I like it a lot has one with Floyd Rose on it better than any fender stratocaster I ever played did you say that it was over one thousand the one i bought new at zzounds was only $549.00
Hey man ive been looking at that guitar and the damien but idk which one would be better cause i want to upgrade from my Ibanez GIO grg 131dx and i want a guitar that can put out enough power for my 50 watt amp i play it in 25 watts and my guitar cant play the kind of metal sound i want so please help any ine who knows which one i should go for
If you can have a play of both of them, that's what I would base your choice on. For me personally, I don't like the bat inlays, so that's an easy choice hahahah
No cleans. This is a metal guitar
Damn right.

Purple binding sounds very tasty, I’ve never seen such a thing!
