Thanks a lot Liam. This was just what I needed as people kept saying this was 'just another ATK'. I can clearly see the differences and I don't own an ATK Ultimate but looking at this I can see I would prefer the Hyperlight flatter back flare and sensor pos. Once again, thank you... Or maybe not. You made me seriously consider getting the Hyperlight now.
I love your videos, man. They contain all the most important information, so I don't have to search the entire Internet. Brilliant shape comparisons, and always up to date. Keep it up!
If you had to pick just one to main for the next year: hyperlight, maya, Atlantis mini or vacee xe-s? Also, curious how hyper light compares to the ht-s2 as im eyeballing both. Cheers!
Dude the sensor placement is the most overlooked part of mice nowadays! Having the sensor pushed up a bit sort of like the g pro is 100% the way to go it just makes everything feel snappier. Hopefully more companies shift over to this so we can leave the sensor in the middle/below stuff behind LOL
have all the mouse above and atk f1 extreme is just better because of the shape and every thing else hyperlight is better but the shape hurts my hand after a while of gaming
It depends on what you prefer and budget. Me personally, I would go for the Viper V3 Pro. They both are priced around the same. I'm just used to Razer brand and their software for macros and performance is easy to use.
Cool product and great review as always. Liam, was wondering if you could help me out with a recommendation - I'm looking for the the fastest cloth mousepad around 3-4mm height and with the hardest surface that will stop the mouse sinking in. Using a WH glass pad and I'm interested in something cloth wise with a harder surface w/o it being plastic or Razer Sphex etc.
@@mikerzisu9508how would you feel they compare? shape is the most important thing for me, and i love a good tucked in sides similar to the x2H. I’ve heard the maya is flatter on the sides like a gpro. any of that true? would you say the hitscan is more in line?
@estebansalas5817 the hitscan has flat sides pretty narrow mouse. The maya is puffier, just a bit bigger. So fills your hand a bit more. I don't own an x2h so hard to compare. They are both great. The atk f1 extreme is up there as well

@@AimAdapt thank you very much for your answer! currently I am clicking on a GPX Superlight 1 and I'm frustrated with the build quality, clicks that double click after few months and the fact that is almost dying after less than 1 year, so I was looking to switch to a brand that it's not amongst the biggest and greatest. I think the Maya X is better for me as I like the shape of the GPX and I think the smaller version wouldn't please me.
This mouse was a weird one for me. Love the shape and size, but no matter what skates i put on my mouse and tried using it on a glass mouse pad (Wallhack sp-004) it sounds SUPER SCRATCHY. I have 5-6 mice using the Obsidian Air skates which makes ZERO sounds moving on this pad, but those same exact skates on that mouse is scratchy. Sent them a video, they had great customer service and sent me out another one, unfortunately running into the same thing on the new one. Gonna have to stick to a cloth pad w/ this one.
I’ve been using the Hyperlight for the past week, and this mouse is absolutely insane. It’s a better ATK F1 in every way except for the sensor. Sensors have been irrelevant for me since 3370's so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It changes the angle when doing round motions so it can feel very different. Especially for games with a lot of verticality like fortnite and overwatch. Less noticable in tac fps games.
I almost feel like there's too many good small mice to choose from now. This, Maya, atlantis mini, op18k, sora V2, vaxee Xe-s, g wolves ht-s2, RVM SE, beast x/mini, final mice, x2v2/x2h... How's a man supposed to choose!?
@@Evan-xs8ts I still need to try the hitscan, but the Maya didn't quite work for me. It felt good, but something about the shape I just couldn't love. I love the Atlantis mini though.

looks like it will feel slightly larger / taller than a viper mini but it looks good, m next mouse will either be the op18k or this. (most likely the op18k)
sensor position looks great for my grip. I finger tip and my thumb and ring finger tend to grip at the thinnest point of the mouse, and looks like the curves are perfect on this mouse with thinnest point and sensor being exactly where I'd grip. I feel like gripping closer to the sensor makes your aim feel more precise. I think Im going to have to buy this one.

Hey man, quick question--what wired mice would you recommend if price isn't a big factor? I've been using the Logitech G Pro Wireless for about 1-2 years now, but I'm starting to notice something strange. It feels like my sensitivity changes slightly day to day, and when I charge it to 100%, it feels super crisp, but as the battery drains, the performance seems to drop. Maybe it's just me, but it's annoying, and I'm thinking of switching to a wired option for more consistency. Any suggestions?
This does not work with my giant palm gripping hand. it literally have to be DAv3 Pro, Logitech Dex and Xlite V3 Large level for even consider picking it up. I even gave up on Maya X despite being literally amazing, because shape is just not big enough.
Hi Liam! Great video as always! This mouse is very tempting to me, I might have to un-retire from buying mice and pick one up 🙂 I've pretty much stopped mouse shopping since I got my ULX Cheetah, it really is the perfect mouse for me. Recently, I put it on my charger and went to bed, in the morning it was completely dead. No lights, nothing, not even when I plugged it in to the PC. I opened an RMA case with FinalMouse and they sent me a label to ship it back. I procrastinated, and was using my WLMouse Beast X Mini, which I had never opened. I also ended up buying the ULX Competition. Then one day my WLMouse stopped charging, same with my laptop, turns out that charger was going bad. I decided to test charging the ULX with my new charger and it came back to life. All that over dead batteries lol. FinalMouse was great to work with throughout the process and I'm glad to have my Cheetah up and running again!
