Thank you for covering this mouse. I've been eyeing this for a bit but with very few reviews, I wasn't sure if it would hold up. Kinda crazy how solid the shell is despite the weight.
I just got mine today, honestly I can’t overstate how good it feels, super solid shell, small but not too much, shape is amazing. Hitscan are crazy for making such a high quality mouse as their first release tbh.
Been on the za13 for years now and finally decided to move on, aint kept up with the market in 2 years so I just went to your channel, saw this and went for it. Can't wait to try it out
I've been spoiled by the sheer stability of the OP1 8k, but I've heard a lot of good things about this mouse so I decided to pick it up. Glad to hear that it can gripped in close to the same way as the OP1 (although I'm still waiting on the wireless version of that one too).
@Grimlo9ic I felt the main switches were slightly too heavy for my liking and purple has 8k motion sync. My main reason was the switches, since the lighter switch pack is always sold out, I thought why not get a purple one instead. I don't have the white version anymore, but it was rock solid, compared to the purple one... It's creaky and feels so cheap 😭
@@takutolovex I haven't been able to put as many hours into the Hyperlight as I have with my OP1. The OP1 is definitely narrower though. Also, the Hyperlight has deeper finger grooves on M1 and M2. Both feel the same in terms of being able to whip them around (I've modded my OP1 with an LGG cable).
Went from the ULX medium to VAXEE XE-S it’s night and day for me, I feel like I’m gripping a smol mouse but with the feeling of a pulsar X2 vibe on the sides. It’s dope! I seen we have the Hitscan in at Zerk also. 🙌🏼
@@mikerzisu9508 it's the only wired mouse I have now, but I don't mind it. I think because the cable they use is really light and flexible. It never feels like it's 'in the way.' on the plus side, no dongle to lose, interference to worry about or battery to worry about.

Hey How are the sides compared to the regular Maya? I use a relax claw grip and had to shelf the maya because my ring finger, which usually rest on the right corner of the mouse, wasn’t getting enough support because of the slanted sides. Basically there is little contact with how I grip it. This mouse looks very very interesting and Im thinking about pulling the trigger on it if it has flatter sides than the maya
Still not sure if I want to order it Fresh! Can you look at The Finals? I think you miss a great game with very fast paced and movement involved It's a great game for both tracking and flicking (depends on your loadout) and it's my main game since I left Apex!
Hi, I think i have pretty small hands but i claw grip the superlight comfortably. This has been the best mouse in terms of comfort for me so far but I've been looking to upgrade to no avail. I tried the Op18k and it was too small. I ordered the finalmouse ulx, hitscan hyperlight, and the Xm2w 4k to try to see which one id prefer. Do you think this hitscan is suitable for someone like me?
hey there, im interested in buying arete but i heard due to its extremely low ohm resistance there may very well be some noise issues that would require it to be plugged into something with extremely silent noise floor in order to fix, like the fio k11, which i dont wanna spend 180eur for. have you tried plugging yours into just motherboard audio? i was also considering moondrop dawn pro but that one has slight warm coloration to it and while i love bass i wouldnt want to sway the perfect competitive tuning much.
You don’t need anything special but I can’t say whether your on board audio will work well or not. If you get an amp dac you want something with a low noise floor
The sides on this mouse more flat than the lamzu maya? Ive said for a while that a flat side maya thats under 40 grams would probably be my end game.... could this be it?
I don't have this mouse, but fwiw I was reading a review on Reddit for it where they noted this exact thing you're describing, stating that it was like the Maya, but without the odd angles on the sides that can make it feel awkward. So, might be your end game 😅
@@FreshReviewsYT u know how on the maya the sides are angled inwards. Where lets say on the gpro they are basically flat. Are the sides on this mouse closer to being flat than the maya's? Cus like my original comment said. The maya with flat sides would prob be my end game shape. Sounds like this could be close atleast
@@FreshReviewsYT that was basically that reviewer's words, but that's obviously subjective. My takeaway was just that they were noting how the sides are flatter with less of an angled taper here versus with the Maya, which is what OP here seems to be looking for. Personally IDK if I'd call the Maya shape awkward, but I do get what the guy was saying about how the shape could be awkward for those who prefer a flatter side profile, again as OP here seems to prefer.
Would love to see some of the new mice coming out going back to 20mill omron. Or taking a page from Endgamegear and offering hotswap switch replacement. That alone adds more value because I can replace switches as they wear out without purchasing a new mouse or having to purchase a solder gun to replace switches.
