I actually wasn't sure about it at first I felt like there was some unnecessary pitch correction on her voice but the more I've listened to it the more it has grown on me and what I mistakenly thought was studio gimmicks is in actual fact what I now believe to be a maturation in Lucy's tone that I'd never heard previously. Just when you think she has peaked and cannot possibly improve on seemingly perfection she keeps on raising the bar!

And note the number of times she brings her hands to her chest making it very personal; including herself in the emotion.
