actually you dont know if the planets are close to the portal or not, maybe the portal is at a Moon to earth distance from both planets so at the end we could say that argus and the azeroth are at the moont to earth distance x2 from one to another

Indeed Sylvanas has the potential to be a whole other storyline. I do believe that Anduin is important to the current story (spoilers) with the army of light and that stuff. As a biased Horde I wish they do something interesting with Baine, although there hasn't been anything solid about him in the story (correct me if I'm wrong).
The magic green stone was the Sargerite Keystone. This was actually the key point of the DH starting zone, and the class campaign. It is literally a key to all Legion worlds, from Argus, to Nihilam, and beyond. Also, the planet hasn't moved, there's just a massive portal through the universe connecting Azeroth and Argus. So, yeah. And also, as a side comment, if Sargeras manages to get to Argus, it's big enough for him to travel to Azeroth.

I swear this game is like game of thrones from a character standpoint. There are so many characters that you love to hate or evildoers you can sympathize with and come to understand a bit more through story telling. I can really feel for Kiljaeden or even Sargeras if you think about it. He was out doing work literally purging evil. And what he saw at war broke him he saw the bigger picture and threat the void lords played. His own people couldn't understand because they were not out there doing the grunt work....
