I switched out the front forks between my old school doodle bug and my Motovox. The Doodlebug needed adjustable bars because it's not long enough for a 6'2" guy with the stock bars. But the longer Motovox still has plenty of room with the Doodlebug bars, because The motovox head tube angle puts them more forward at the top.
can i use a 60 tooth rear sprocket without the chain having issues staying on? i was assuming since its smaller, id have to make a custom chain tensioner of some sort, which has made me hesitant in putting mine on
Wouldn't a larger sprocket yield a higher top speed? Figured it would be the same as a 10-speed bike or the transmission of a car. Larger the gear, higher the top speed. This concept to me is like putting a low gear in place of a high one.
No smaller gear on the drive wheel higher speed bigger more acceleration low top speed and the front sprocket is lower the gear more acceleration higher more top speed
It is the same as a car. If you go from a 273 gear to a 411 its going to have a lot more low end power, but will be turning some higher rpm's at 50 and up.
@@contraband1543 Uhhhh. There is one sprocket on a mini bike, just like a bicycle. smaller the gear, more torque less speed and on. It's not rocket science but apparently people think backwards nowadays.
At first I think you said you were going to from a 75 tooth sprocket to a 65, then a 60. At the end, I think you said you went to a 60, and only gained 4 mph. Did it quit trying to wheelie as bad with the 60t/65t?
@@motoprosvtp I changed from a 75 to a 65 two days ago. Significantly faster top end, still good bottom end acceleration , and that front wheel still trying to come up. If I wasn't paying attention to it it would have flipped me on my back. It did twice in my front yard. A little embarrassing . How are you finding how fast your going?
if this a motovox mbx10 minibike with a stock rear rim could you reply with the link of this sprocket if it fits #35 chain please and thank you and if this is a 212 i got a rt200 mini bike with a stock 212 predator engine and its straight chained it goes 65 70 i weight 140 all i did was take the throttle screw fully off and out if you have not taken it out already try it
Do you like your tires ? I have those cheap ass Wanda “tractor” tires and they suck. Yours look definitely street tires But I can’t find any good tires. Any advise? And what happened to the 65 tooth ???? 75- straight to 60? You should have gained a lot more than 4 mph from75-60 Changing to a 65 will get you about 4-5 mph
Yeah I have sun f tires they work perfect and yes it will go way faster but the motor is completely stock governor in tact so it revs out fast without the governor it would pick up more speed

cant wait to see this thing true top speed
Soon brother I’m deleting the governor and upgraded the carb set up it’s going to Scream 😱
Good shit bro like how you conduct your video
Thank you 🙏🏽
Useing lock tight is a habbit for me to
But i don't use the blue stuff😂
As long as you use some kind
The blue is better
What is your front sproket and where can I find that 60t sproket?
when i put on a smaller sprocket does it give less torque because i need to lower the torque on my mini bike because it pops up very easily
Yes, could even go to a 40 or 50 tooth if you really want to tame it down.
What's the full info on that sprocket you put on and also the chain I'm also trying to up grade my motovox mbx10. . Nice video.
Just a 60 tooth 35 chain sprocket we’re you can order off anywhere and 35 chain
@EnviousRepairPerformance thank you so master. .you are a blessing 🙌.
Amazon has the sprockets and chain
I have a 40th sprocket otw i should make a video on it
A 40 on the rear that’s going to be really tall gears and a very slow take off
can i use a 60 tooth rear sprocket without the chain having issues staying on? i was assuming since its smaller, id have to make a custom chain tensioner of some sort, which has made me hesitant in putting mine on
You just cut your chain shorter and if your chain comes off your bike or sprockets have alignment issues

Yeah same concept
You don't understand the difference between the driven and driver sprockets.

What is the center measurement on this?I’m trying to find this exact sprocket.
This is from omb warehouse www.ombwarehouse.com/60-tooth-35-chain-aluminum-sprocket-fits-db30-motovox-ct100-p5349.html
Sounds like you need some carb tuning there bud
We’re can you get those sprocket bolts at ? I bought a mini bike but it was missing4

Can You help me with the especifications about number of sprocket !!!! Please
What you need Help with ?
How do yall make a stock go fast besides governor
Sprocket Change
How many inches is the whole in the middle
Not sure but Omb wharehouse sells the correct one
What kind of bike is this
I did a 212cc swap from. 49 cc and I need help with the sprocket
Motovox minibike

Did it quit trying to wheelie as bad with the 60t/65t?
It only gained 4mph more becuase we were limited to engine rpm on a stock governor motor
And wheelies stopped

With a app on my iPhone that I have for speed
GPS speed

You get the sprocket from ombwarehouse
What brand sprocket did you get yours from? Do you have a link
Amazon 60 tooth sprocket
So it's a stock 212?
That motor yes still governed with a carb and pipe
Do you like your tires ? I have those cheap ass Wanda “tractor” tires and they suck. Yours look definitely street tires

Look up 145/70/6 that’s the tire size
You need heavier valve springs
It still has the governor so only revs to the same amount
Not a valve spring problem
Lower the rear sprocket teeth like an 42 tooth
Engine don’t have the power to pull such a tall gear with the big wheels
How many teeth on the clutch?
12
@@motoprosvtp thanks man
