when i bought my tacoma it came with the oem roof rack. i def want to change it up with a prinzu rack. not sure if the molding strip is still there... any knowledge on this if I need the weather strip molding before adding the prinzu?

Did you guys have to cut the bottom part of weather strip with a dremel to take that metal piece out to make it easier to punch the hole out?

I’m not sure if you are comfortable sharing (I don’t live near you), but I was wondering how much a shop with your professionalism and quality would charge for a roof rack install to base on what I should look for when getting charged.

It looks like they punched right through it as you can see the backside of the weatherstrip, when i cut it out, it was just the topside leftover.
Any suggestions here? The weather stripping was perfectly lined. But after tightening everything down the weather strip popped up in certain places.
Have you tried loosening it up just a bit so that it's not popped up, but also tight enough to no wiggle?
