+VahChef I did not have mushrooms when I ran across this recipe, so I used cubed sweet potatoes and cooked the dish the exact same way. The flavors were perfect. Sweet potatoes are so healthy, and it made for a nice fusion feel. I served it over steamed quinoa with a homemade black bean veggie burger on the side. Love! -Also, I really enjoy all the other little facts and information you add in your videos. Your passion for cooking makes your program really fun to watch.
Flavour came absolutely alive as it cooled- about 6 mins after i started eating- Funny that- it often happens- Is it temperature or some other reason? Once ithose flavours started the taste just exploded--- every spice and ingredient started to stand alone yet harmonise with the others- Extraordinary! Really loving discovering Sth Indian cookery

just did it...used white mushrooms....and could not crush the garlic fully...I need a small pestle... :)..but it was awesome...you are too good....Awesome dish guys.....recommended and Favorited.

mushrooms most importantly carry zero absolutely zero amt of fat. Also tip for this curry which i realized is same procedure but add mushrooms after frying the onions and let them cook then add tomatoes makes the curry much better especially if we r using the other varieties apart from what he used. i do it all the time and have noticed that its much more tasty
I'm going to try this because I love mushrooms - but instead of curry leaves, ginger, turmeric and all the other stuff I can't find or don't use all that often, I'm going to use curry powder and chili powder. Same ingredients. I might even add some green lentils in there. Thanks for the idea!

I tried this recipe. Very nice. Everyone must try this and enjoy the fine taste. One may also add some egg plants and bell pepper and increase the added vegetable value. This is a great recipe without tamarind juice. Thank you Vah Chef.

tried today came out v.gud instead fry I make it as gravy using mutton broth .mushrooms taste was yum mouth watering juicy kind of texture .lvg it .... very much ... thank u so much for DS wonderful recipe ... every one has to try DS.
