I've actually met Growly before. He was super rude and standoffish to me cause I was around his age, acted like we weren't even in the same room together. Only reason that bothered me is cause I had a buddy younger than me, around 19, and Growly was super all over him and even wanted to use my apartment to mess around while I waited outside. Serious creep.
@@berrymint6384their excuses is to protect the criminals from being killed by inmates, others because prisons are overcrowded... Which I think both are terrible excuses like criminals matter more than the children and the helpless
Depends on the state, but yes, generally speaking, it is. Which really isn't on the con itself to deal with, but the community. Call it in and report it. Be proactive.
@@AmbblyPuff Regardless of "what should be" or "shouldn't be" it is what it is. Again, if you don't like it, be proactive about it instead of bitching about it on the internet. Vote smartly with those who share the same view points, and report shit, instead of waiting for others to do it for you. SMH lazy kids these days, just want everyone else to do things for them.
@@FurballTTV Damn, hostile much? Fuck, I mean I thought we were on the same page, I was js. I do report shit, & I'm far from being a kid, for all yk I'm probably older than you.
The people at the top tend to cover for these creeps. Kage himself apparently pulled some strings to help a registered sex offender keep his position in con management. It's all rotten.
The best we can do as a community combined with people outside the community, is to push harder for changes and more decisive screenings before a person can even purchase a con pass. This could really help the issue at least on a community basis Sadly I dont know what can be done to reform the sex offender list In my opinion, people should just be placed in jail if they've done heinous acts to get onto that list. Why are they allowed to be free? What if they do it again? Find loopholes?
To be fair, the chlorine bombing coverage was really unprofessional since that could actually kill someone and they're lucky no one was. There were kids at that convention.
Yeah and I remember one person just denies that he done it which no one questions him if he done it and plenty knows he lives in the other side of the Earth when that happens.
As grossed out as I am, I have to disclaim that the photo at 10:14 is purely a tease. At this point in time, we had just met growly (2016?) and we were chilling in one of my friends rooms. This was months before we all learned about growlies past. There was no copulation while I was there. They just posed for questionable photos which would be spread around to front for the convention chats. The gentleman in the coyote suit wouldn't be caught dead legitimately fooling around with growly. I have proof. My pink nose can be seen next to growlies glasses. I was asked to take the photos, so I took off my head and set it on the other bed.
His fursuit makes me want to sob. It's so neglected. He's never washed it once. He's such a shit person, such a beautiful suit, wasted on such a horrible person.
The red rabbit fursuit in the first seconds of this video was my roommate and best friend who ended his own life last year, it was pretty unsettling to see him opening up a video about a pedophile >_
I was onboard with everything in this video until that. I don't get why a long running aspect of furry culture is being called cringe by another furry.
I wouldn't even go as far as to chuck his suit in a dumpster, knowing how poorly it's taken care of and what he's done in it, I'd just burn it with him still inside.
@@HobkinBoi I'd stick his suit head on a pike before dumping the body and the rest of it in the river with cement blocks tied to his feet, just to make an example.
"Damn, Daniel; back at it again with the unrelenting ped*philia" I genuinely cracked up in the middle of the store. Thankfully no one asked me what for.
My question is ,"where is Daniel now?" Ans why is it so hard to ban offenders and predators from cons. Honestly it's not difficult. It's juts a reluctance for whatever reason. Also. Hope you are feeling better. The second shot kicked my butt too.
There's a variety of reasons that he hasn't been banned from what I gather. - PAWCon was hesitant to ban him as he was the one supplying them with DJ equipment - Tail had a similar issue as Daniel was the one who set up the karaoke equipment - Califur, RainFurrest (before it was terminated) and a slew of other cons wouldn't ban him as he was staff / volunteer for the longest time - Because he was staff / volunteering, he would get priority from those cons in room bookings. He used that to his advantage and would charge people at a higher rate for room reservations (ie they would be sharing a room with HIM). Some people would unwittingly go through with this, not knowing his history, and thinking they got a great deal. However, once they would find out and decide they don't want to room with him anymore, he wouldn't offer refunds for their reservation. He'd pocket that money and funnel it back into the convention. So it was essentially blood money. - Some people really wanted to give Growly the benefit of the doubt as they believed his story in regards to his 1st conviction. Most of those people have now disappeared as of the 2nd conviction
@@AudaciousForest that sounds horrible and really corrupted. Which only lead people to hate furries more and a way... No different than the certain group of people that denies a certain someone causes an attack in a certain place.
Well, I feel like it'd be a bit hard to do if the person gets a new fursuit and/or sells their old one (not like growly could, but in general) and if people had known them by that, it'd be hard to re-find them after acting like a chameleon
@@user-bv3yy8sq3f Most conventions have you use your real name & present a photo ID at conventions when you go to pick up your badge / register. Even Rainfurrest did that from what I remember. It really ISN'T hard to just ban convicted sex offenders from your convention. Most are just too lazy / complicit to enforce a ban. California convention spaces especially have a lot of deeply rooted evil in them as far as the Furry Community goes. It's technically public knowledge at this point but the Chairman of Pawcon, Laveur, was not only buddy-buddy with Growly, but also a good friend to Tane. Tane, if you don't recall, was outed in the Zoosadist leaks as one of the worst offenders. Laveur was also a landlord to a few of Tane's friends & I've heard rumors floating that there were Zoo parties at the place they were renting. AnthroNW took a lot of shit because it was ran by someone who's openly Christian as well as the outright blocking of open practice of fetish / sexual shit in the public con space. But one thing absolutely NO ONE can give the chairman of that con for is banning any registered sex offender as well as anyone who's been banned from previous conventions for any reason. He made the right call there and if more conventions took a hard stance like that, the fandom would not have such a god awful reputation.
@@AudaciousForest I can't recall what I don't know, and ya, if they do check IDs, then it shouldn't be too much of an issue. Also, I feel like a con run by an openly christian person shouldn't be the part to cause anger -.- now if they were racist/homophobic/sexist...sure. and whats the issue with keeping a con pg? It makes sense. You could still do sexy stuffs in your hotel room, but not making it and exhibitionist thing where everyone has to see.
I was friends with him, without knowing for years (I lived under an anti-social rock), and when I found out, I cut and run so damned fast. It boggles my mind that he's allowed to be at events that minors attend. Talk about willingly risking the safety of children.
I'm not a furry. Nor do I know what it all is about. I don't judge people. I don't think you're all like this guy. If you're having a good time, and it's not at anyone else's expense. Then more power to you.
It is essentially a consequence of early neglect, when a baby fails to bond with thier own species. Its not the worst outcome; to bond with something at least prevents the development of full blown psychopathy. We do the best we can with this existence.
@@krofgninut5984 I think you are conflating "furry" with a genuine belief someone has that they are something other than human _(which could be Otherkin, though they don't have to consider themselves part of that fandom/subculture/community to still have those beliefs)._ Speaking for myself here as someone involved in the community, I feel 100% like a person -- a human. That being said, I am curious about citation here.
@@SarethZhukov314 I think what they are saying is that people who do not form connections with other people are more likely to become psychopaths and by extension, more likely to not think of the consequences of their actions.
As much I believe in forgiveness this guy needs to be bared from all future conventions. What he did is certainly not permissible and while he's claimed to redeem himself I do not believe in his sincerity.
It hurts so much... I love the furry fandom, I love the idea of going to cons someday in the future. And then the entire community just is infested with vermin like this. We get looked down upon because people like Daniel have to ruin everything.
Legit, it's why I'm so scared to be proud of being apart if it and try to keep online separate from IRL affairs. If I ever have the guts to attend a con again, it'd be in something covering my face.
Surprisingly more people you meet in person are more accepting of the fact someone is a furry than online It's strange as hell I'd expect the elderly woman who comes into my work every day, whose the sweetest, every morning to order pancakes, asked me about my interests and we talked while it was slow Absolute darling of a person. And then even mentioning being part of any community, on a social platform of any kind, gets some kind of backlash Like My boss and coworkers know and offered to go with me to a comic convention as friends. Ofc online debates don't necessarily bother me It's just an observation I've made Like Yknow?
Re "minors just shouldn't go to furcons": When you're dealing with known predators at your events, the solution shouldn't punish the victims. It's not as simple as that. Even if it was an adults-only event, I wouldn't enjoy knowing that a convicted pedophile was in the room and I imagine that 95% of the attendees felt the same way. It still creates a very unsafe atmosphere and if you don't crack down on illegal behaviour, you'll _probably attract more predators._ I'm not a furry but this isn't even exclusive to furcons. Some people's priorities are downright bizarre.
I agree with both. Minors shouldn't be attending furcons due to the fact that a majority of fur cons are all adults. There tends to be heavy adult themes regardless if it's all ages. However, i've been personally assaulted many times at mixed aged anime conventions. I've had some pretty miserable experiences. Both as an adult and a teenager. I've been assaulted by teenage boys, I've met some very, very gross old men at conventions that tried to get me and other underage people to be the "mvp" for their private room parties. I've met some people that are regular con goers in my local area that i've found to be on the registry for both sexual assault and forced encounters against women, and for things such as Cp and Pedo. There was a big problem with people forcing inappropriate touch on women and girls in cosplay. Sometimes staff or "security" watched while assault happened, they had little to say or do about it other than to tell people to shut up and get over it. I actually ended up getting held hostage by the staff of one convention in a "security room" and they tried to refuse my parents having access to me, in retaliation because i ended up complaining to an actual cop that was there and the front desk staff of the hotel. It's gross, it creates a hostile environment for everyone. There needs to be something done to not only keep some of these people away, but there also needs to be competent staff that can deal with these situations. Cons are ran almost entirely on volunteers. Anyone willing can be "hired" on as staff or con security. That coupled with how much money they make off badge sales, and the amount of money they get from vendors, leaves no excuses as to why they can neither, run background checks on at least their "Staff", hire competent staff, and deal with these situations by revoking badges and notifying front desk and hotel security. In a place where large amounts of kids gather, it will always inevitably attract people that prey on them. We know this because it applies for every disadvantaged group, when they gather in one place, it attracts their oppressors. And at every convention you can almost bet that there's either some kind of sexual assault taking place, or there's a 14 year old being taken advantage of by some 35 year old, and they're not being dealt with.
We should rehabilitate criminals back into society. If we isolate a person who is rehabilitated from an adult place, then you are basically calling for isolating them from society for the rest of their lives by default, which takes away normality and actually pushes certain people into reoffending.
Minors should only attend FurCons that are specified as Family Friendly And not because they are sexual or anything (in most cases) but because it's literally filled with adults And adults just say and talk about stuff kids shouldn't listen to Even if said adults are dressed as cute animal mascots and act childish
@@SpaceOmega-zz6vs not all criminals can be rehabilitated the same( with pedos, especially those with multiple victims and diverse victimd being known to have low success and high recidivism rates) and at a certain point the things people do is so evil and destructive to others that efforts would be better spent protecting and preventing future possible victims. Why put more innocent children at risk of suffering and irreversible truama to give a sicko another chance? I draw the line at this. People like him should be isolated and put away forever and never have the choice of offending again. After the long term trauma they carelessly inflicted on a child for their sick sexual pleasure, who cares what their quality of life is like? What they did is not some oopsie, some sins people just should've never done and they should live with the consequences. Protection of children is more important than teaching sickos to be bare minimum human beings. Im generally for rehabilitation in general, but some people are too far gone and or completely undeserving. Why do you think someone who rapes little boys deserves to go on and live a normal life when those children will forever have to live with truama and all sorts of other issues thanks to this asshole choosing to use them as sex objects?
I would always see that guy in staff positions at cons I'd attend, and one that I was actually staff for as well. Being DJ coordinator for a certain con, people would always ask me to talk about higher ups to get the guy banned, and sadly I could only tell them how people are feeling, as well as my own suggestions.. It went generally ignored until the 2019 charges came to light.
So this was fun, I searched up my name on kiwifarms (i know, I hate myself too ;P) and apparently they think I'm handwaving the shit that growly did. I don't know where that came from. And apparently they are saying I hung out with his ex? Does being around someone in a public space with someone who you know nothing about constitute as hanging out? Press X to Doubt, but eh. I guess that's just what happens when people look for anything and everything to dig up on random people that have nothing to do with people like growly. Weirdos.
if people tell you someone specific at the meet or con is bad news you’ll save your ass if you just are wary of said person. also don’t trust someone who says people hate them over “drama” and don’t elaborate on the situation at all
People like this and the fandom’s seeming inability to deal with them, soundly and firmly, are a major part of what made me leave the fandom several years ago. My SO and I are both children of abuse, and we have seen the fallout that sexual abuse causes throughout the lives of loved ones. While I still have many friends within Furry and many treasured experiences, it has honestly become a cesspool- or possibly, it was always a cesspool, and we’ve just started to notice how much it stinks.
unfortunately Growly is still semi active, at least he was a year ago. i live in the same city as him im pretty sure and he’s banned from all the local meets and cons but said city happens to be where the Comic Con is held and i saw him out and about last year. tons of kids go to Comic Con so the fact he was there truly sickens me.
Ok, I've spoken to an FWA staff member one year, and what I was told was apparently due to the way laws are worded in the area, as well as the state the cases were at at the time, they literally could have gotten sued into the ground regarding banning him. I do not know if this is so, or if the staff were doing damage control. There's been a bit of a regime change for FWA, so I'm hoping shit gets fixed.
Growly should be ex-communicated, and arrested with at least 7 years parole with 2 guards in full body tactical gear with rifles watching him at all times, even inside residences. What he did was deplorable, he's getting away with it when law should always be keeping four eyes on him.
As someone who has partially joined the Fandom recently, it makes me retch to see degenerates like this in it. It almost feels... wrong, to be in the same fandom as these are. Thank you so much for this video, you saved a lot of potential con-attendees quite an unpleasant encounter.
The best we can do is rely on ourselves to stay safe. Unfortunately We shouldn't need to but considering these people can get into con positions and other positions just like any other sex offender, it's a dangerous place, so bringing people you already know and trust, even family. With you, is the best way to stay safe and do fun activities with those people you care about and trust and meeting new people
We all clamored AC to ban this guy in 2019. Less than a week after the con, he was arrested for possession of CP. Not sure if I wanna go to cons anymore.
When I was younger, around 11I really wanted go to fur cons, I even made plans. However now since I'm older, I have realized that I never want go to cons until I'm at least 18.
A while back when I found out about Growly I went to block him on twitter but I must've said something that made him upset because he has me blocked on twitter , lol
uncle kage: (bans ranting griffin for absolutely bs claims and wont even hold a phone call with him to hear his side of the story.) "oh growly is fine to join us." we should really start investigating this mad scientist and see what he is hiding -w-
Ranting griffin has been saying sick shit for a couple years now. Especially paired with a lot of nazi imagery he likes to imitate. It’s yikes Doesn’t excuse the pedo allowing tho
would also like to point out that "growly" is the name of a growlithe character from the indigo league series. growlithe is literally called "the puppy pokémon" and i believe has references to it being young/a puppy in the show. considering that his suit looks like a growlithe and. yknow. everything else, i wouldn't put it past him to be murrsuiting as a cub character
I'm sorry, but the clip with Mika Brzezinski running off set was actually really funny. As someone who is a furry, I'm not afraid to laugh at stuff like that.
THIS is why furries for the most part are generally disliked. I am exceedingly disgusted by the likes of these people. I consider them humans pretending to be furry.
Furries fall into two camps I’m noticing. The asexual self loathing and the other part that is the into ‘anything’ furries which is the fuel that makes these entertaining videos possible :)
@@Rockin4D I don’t fall into either one of these I consider myself pretty happy with my life and i have my limitations. Anyone who says they don’t are just fooling themselves.
Perhaps we should stop waiting for cons to do something, and be proactive our selves. Do your research. Most states have laws that prevent offenders on their sex offender registry from attending events such as this, along with parks, school, and other such places. Instead of waiting for someone else to "do something about it", pickup the phone, and call the local police department and report it. Your one call may not get anything accomplished, but if everyone alters their mind sets of "oh, someone else should deal with this.. just not me", then real change can happen. People need to stop being lazy, and expecting everyone else to deal with/change things that they dislike, without they themselves putting in any shred of effort to help...
I hope cons and the fandom in general keep that sick freak out remember we can show them the door and we can push them out we don't need people like that in are fandom
I love going to cons for 15+ years now but fuck man, I have witnessed some horrible shit. Not just as furcons mind you, but at the furcons I've been to I had to help a guy who got spiked, I was touched up during photoshoots and all sorts of shit, ugh. At furcons, being sexual is 'expected' sometimes, yet an open secret. At anime cons It's much more noticable when people are acting out of place - I've had to keep an eye out for underage friends dressing in cosplay dresses and such with adult creeps trying to sneak photos of them. Growly being able to still attend cons just screams to me he's in bed with some of the staff.
I think EVERY convention should require a background check using legal names and IDs. There are services that do bulk background checks for businesses for pre packaged prices so it is doable. conventions would have to rsvp and do the check months in advance of course though.
Oh hell no. A background check wouldn't have fixed this because people already knew perfectly well who they had to keep away. Furthermore, you do realise that you would essentially force a lot of people to out themselves, right? 80% of the furry fandom is not straight. Besides that, being a furry isn't even accepted everywhere. There's enough privacy invasion in the world as it is, and "Oh please think of the chilren" followed by some totalitarian bullshit rarely actually benefits the children.
It isn't hard to ban sex offenders. Check the credit card that paid for his tickets. Does the name belong to a sex offender? If the answer is "yes", just don't let him in.
I was at an anime con where I live and this one obviously teen girl jept following me around trying to be my 'companion' s I was displaying as the 10th doctor. Grapping at my arm and shoulder, trying to hold my hand. No amount of no got through her thick skull. I think her friends finally removed her. Only unpleasant point to that con. Had an awesome figjt with my friend using foam swords outside. So...somewhere there might be a vid of two Doctor Who's with a broadsword and shortsword smacking each other. Still have that sword.

I've met him. MFF 2011. then in 2012 i found out about his convictions and publicly bashed him. He did NOT like that and made it known to me directly over Skype. The saddest part is i believed him when he said it was that he "cybered with someone who lied about their age"
Sadly this kinda stuff happens at anime conventions too. Since most conventions are just run by volunteers, they can't do much to stop some of these sick people from attending. Thankfully many of the larger events do have professional security that keep an eye out and sometimes full on police officers patrolling the event. Haven't been to one in years but one time years back, there was a well known creeper that had been creepy around underaged girls both online and inperson. After he had been warned a few times at the same large event, the staff and security hard focused on him and finally caught him dancing with some poor 16 year olds at the con's rave. I watched as 5 Security guards dragged him out, took and ripped up his badge, banned him from the event for life and told him if he didn't leave, he would be arrested. Thankfully many other events heard of the ban and also banned him from their events too. Unfortunately people actually went to his guys defence and say he "wasn't a bad guy" yet the creeper in question would actually, no joke, post quotes from nazi party members on his own Facebook be 100% serious about his fucked up beliefs and people actually defended this guy. Unfortunately many communities will go out of their way to scrub any bad actors from being talked about or mentioned yet enable those very people by defending them against any criticism or being looked into.
it actually is kinda hard to brush someone off even if they have done awful shit. was mutuals on instagram with a person and saw them encouraging a 15 year old to draw unsavory things despite them being an adult... we werent even good friends, and im a minor myself and they had made some comments towards my fursona, and the attention wad nice. i realized how messed up they were and all i could do was to silently unfollow, it took a while for me to muster up the strength to softblock.
My first fursuit I purchased was from my favorite maker ever. She wasn’t going to be open for like a year. I bought one of her old and first ever made personal suits. It was ELEVEN years old and while didn’t look new, the fur wasn’t all scuzzy like his suit. It even had a white underbelly that was still white. I still have everything but the bodysuit and now it’s probably closer to twenty years old and isn’t nasty yet. Just has a few little holes I have to sew up, but that’s normal wear.
Why don't we just make that a law everywhere, life would be so much easier if we all knew each others pronouns and sexual preference and age at a glance, then we can round up the ones we deem undesirable and toss them on a train
I simultaneously love and loathe being in this fandom because like it's fun and you make cool friends and get to feel cute and then you get into the lore and it's all like
EDP actually had a lot of stuff happening to him: he got evicted from the Spur Apartments, where he was living at the time, on October 1, after the owner of the complex received constant complaints and after an incident a angry woman recognized him by the pool in the complex. He got a job in a trucking company but quit that job after two days and a job in a fast food restaurant which only lasted a few days (oh gee, wonder why?). EDP also tried to take his own life, but one of his closest friends talked him out of it. He then moved into a 3-star hotel in Henderson, Nevada called Railroad Pass Casino. He was last heard on October 6 taking a job for Lyft, but that's not going to last long obviously considering how everyone practically knows what he is and no one will employ a chomo like him.
Growly keeps flagging this video (and any other video discussing him) for "privacy " complaints - which TH-cam obliges. As a result, people are being forced to heavily censor the topic, which I think is bull. He's really not trying to minimize Growly's creep factor - he's just got his hands tied due to ToS
@@AudaciousForest thanks! that makes sense but Jesus Christ, it completely caught me off guard when he was saying what he did and that he’s a registered offender 😔😂
As an adult furry, I do not feel safe with the idea of even going to cons. It is not even a matter of myself getting hurt: I do not want to be in the same room as a convicted nonce.
I'm not really a furry idk who any of the people mentioned are, but I figured any controversy involving one would be zoophilia, pedophilia, or necrophilia. Good formatting and narration well made video.
I'm absolutely not a furry.. likely my interest in true crime/interrogations, exposing shitbag humans and occasionally pedo catchers, has brought me here. I would never want my child or Anyone's child, hanging out with furries because they Don't believe, as a collective in prioritizing safety of vulnerable people over getting their, identity rocks off. (The proof is in the pudding) If you're within any group, in which people of Any kind are routinely victimized, you need to get your shit together- it's your sign. It's fucking lame, at best and loathesome/deplorable, at worst.
Yeah, he is a Growlithe. He even has (had?) a shirt that says "Growly 52" like a sports shirt. He's the one usually getting the Pokémon suiters together for a photo shoot.
Hey, youre videos are super interesting. I Love em. Ive been a furry for more then a year now and been generally avoiding drama. I dont follow many popfurs and only join selective furry discords. I dont attend anything irl related. Thank you for educating me in a manner that I could digest.
Remember when Foxler bought out half the rooms at Rocky Mountain Fur Con? Yeah, Growly was THE guest of honor at the very same convention. Gross. No wonder it was the last convention that hotel ever hosted. 2016, I think?
I always wanted to go to a furcon (I went to my first Anime Con and met a fursuiter for the first time ^^) and just fet hugs from all the suiters but it's people like this that make me afraid of doing so, not knowing whether or not the person under the suit is a terrible person. All cons should keep records of members banmed from their con as well as other cons. Communication. Collaborate and compile a list of all bad members and what they did 💀 Require all of them to be given a tag with their sona name and real name when attending the con either with or without their face. It sounds like it defeats the purpose of masking yourself with the suit but at this point, it really is important to take as many precautions as possible. *ESPECIALLY* for cons that children attend. And *especially* doing a background check on staff and any volunteers
I'm mad at myself for not knowing about this much, much sooner. So back in 2018, I went to PawCon for the first time and had just turned 18 on (Saturday) day two of the con. On Saturday night, it was dance comp night and I was gonna be performing that night. Me, and all my friends were part of it and we were all very excited. Little did we know that the host was an actual child predator. (Some of my friends were a couple years younger than me, but we're really good friends) By the time I was up next to do my performance, it was going well at first. But it wasn't until at the halfway point, I ended up collapsing. Growly was oblivious that I had collapsed onto the floor during my performance, and so one of the judges had to come up to me to make sure if I was ok. After I was escorted back into the headless lounge, growly then went back to check If I was ok too. He then sat down next to me and he got really close to me and put one hand on my back, and one hand on my lap. I'm mad at myself for not thinking anything of it all because of my failed performance. If I would've known sooner that Growly was a child predator, I would've probably cancelled my registration to PawCon.
So now my curiosity is peaked, I’ll have to see if my local cons can block perverts. As a TX fur I’m sure he would “disappear” if someone found out. Side note, when I was at FWA 09 (I think) I roomed with Chewfox and Tomcat, they are genuinely nice people! They got engaged that year, he proposed at FWA.
@@Penoatle The Tyra Show and yeah, that whole show was a frigging mess! i met Growly at a local furry meetup at the age of 13-14. and i would see him at that furmeet every month until i stopped going. thank god i stopped going. i even remember my dad talking to him and suspected nothing. Scary as hell man

The only reason I’m considering going to a con as a minor is because I’m to scared to go without a friend and the friend I’m choosing to go with is an adult and I purposely chose an adult specifically for this reason.
Yeah, it's always best to attend large events with a parent, friend, or group because traveling to a different place has it's own risks. Plus, if you go with IRL friends you'll always have someone to hang out with!
It takes a lot of willpower to brush off a friend even if they've done stuff like that. Yes what he did was horrible, dragoneer feeling bad is genuinely normal.
i recently cut off a friend who i used to be really good friends with but they started being really mean to me and some of my friends and even their own GF (for example, they cheated on her). even if they were an asshole in the end i miss them sometimes. (they didnt do anything illegal)
Just bully him whenever he shows up. I can assure he'll stop showing up after a couple broken ribs. Ask him if he likes fishing, then invite him on a fishing trip. Tell him the ribs are cooked. Make him drink Mr. Clean's milk. Caress him, show him support for a couple of years then turn on him during his saddest hour. Blinker fluid. Have a dilemma with a lama while you're climbing a mountain and the lama is doing skydiving next to you, then reveal to the lama that you're actually Growly all the while the lama reveals that he was you the whole time. Jump down multiple flights of stairs, then use all your money to pay off henchman that will force him to pay your medical bill. Become a doctor. DON'T FORGET TO LOCK YOUR DOORS TONIGHT MY LITTLE ANGELS. You want a word of advice from me? Well, if you insist dear ogre friend. Don't listen to me, I'm just an enthusiastic shepherd, bound to look after shape-shifting frogs. Bonne nuit les amis. Faite de beaux rêves, cher grenouille.
I was great friends with a brony named Cipher, known him for a year. One of Cipher's friends in the MLP fandom named Revy was obsessed with MLP characters in Diapers. It was hard trying to hang out with Cipher who would also hang around with Revy who would make public displays of their MLP character in a Diaper while at an Adult rated sim in Secondlife. Multiple people such as myself have tried to explain to Revy the reasoning as to why this shouldn't be allowed and I am certain many people have made many reports on Revy. I had a private convo with Cipher about why he should cut ties with Revy for his um interests, and that anyone who is around or associates with Revy will fall into the same category as him and his interests. Cipher didn't have much to say and that it seems that he'd rather be friends with Revy and lose what reputation he has within the MLP fandom... Eventually Cipher was no longer my friend I had to make the choice and cut my ties with him, because of Revy and his fetish. This was one of those instances where I lost one of my best friends. Note: Revy would try to join other MLP communities in MLP sims on Secondlife. however he would get swiftly ejected or banned from the sim because of his MLP Character wearing a Diaper. Most fandoms don't support Diaper Characters and it's obvious as to why. If you like something yet the majority sees it as a taboo. Maybe it's best to detour yourself away from that taboo atmosphere even if it means to lose a friend you've known for a year.
@Beardust It's not just a diaper. 9 times out of 10. People see it as frowned upon. It's within the possibility of Age Play. Which is against Linden Labs ToS. Especially when Revy would frequently hang out in Adult Sim's. Sims and Sim owners will have established rules. And among the top ten rules is "No Child / Underage Avatars" (This includes props) As in bibs, diapers, pacifiers. These Sims and Sim owners can be liable for allowing someone to perform ill acts on their sim. Whenever Revy went to other sims in SL he would instantly get ejected and or even banned from that sim. Regardless of the Sim's Rating. Because Sim Owners don't want to risk getting in trouble with LL. And it does make most people uncomfortable BY DEFAULT. Sure you can de-render or block Revy. But they're still on that land. And people don't want to monitor someone's behavior 24/7 so they rather just eject, inform and or warn them. Suggest them to remove the diaper. List goes on man. There is no defending it. No matter how you downplay it. Secondlife (Linden Labs) did a crackdown on Kemono Avatars as they appeared to be child-like. And really someone can report You in Second Life where you’re standing next to someone wearing a diaper, And someone reports you. Everything will automatically be time stamped and the Sim’s name. As well as the Rating of the sim. Guilty by association is a thing. Even in RL. Going to cons with your Fursuit. Flying to a state, getting a hotel. It’s all costly. And it takes time and effort to be in a con. I wouldn’t risk my reputation and the amount of money and stuff I put into my OC, and thensome To then be around someone who is roaming around wearing a diaper. It’s bad enough the furry community has a bad reputation in general. Which rightfully so. It’s not wrong of me to remove myself from uncomfortable situations. I am allowed to. I could have worded it better when talking to Cipher heck I could have just ghost Cipher entirely. But I informed him that I will no longer be his friend. Because I feel uncomfortable around Revy. TLDR: It’s not just a Diaper. You may want to re-read what I originally wrote. As people do find a character or a fursuit wearing a diaper to be rather unsettling.
It's honestly sad when there are members in the community that think "Pedos shouldn't be welcome" is a spicy take. Like no they aren't the victims in this situation their victims are.

I was attending furry conventions as a minor in southern california and saw him at every event I went to. I never interacted with him (I am AFAB), but I only learned much later that he had a record. Everyone I knew avoided him, but nothing was ever done to ban him from cons bc he was always a sponsor or super sponsor
I heard he was removed from Golden State Fur Con (I think he may have been ghosting the event) so he has likely been banned from (local) conventions. My question is ,"where is Daniel now?"
Ans why is it so hard to ban offenders and predators from cons. Honestly it's not difficult. It's juts a reluctance for whatever reason.
Also. Hope you are feeling better. The second shot kicked my butt too.
There's a variety of reasons that he hasn't been banned from what I gather.
- PAWCon was hesitant to ban him as he was the one supplying them with DJ equipment
- Tail had a similar issue as Daniel was the one who set up the karaoke equipment
- Califur, RainFurrest (before it was terminated) and a slew of other cons wouldn't ban him as he was staff / volunteer for the longest time
- Because he was staff / volunteering, he would get priority from those cons in room bookings.
Re "minors just shouldn't go to furcons":
When you're dealing with known predators at your events, the solution shouldn't punish the victims.
Minors should only attend FurCons that are specified as Family Friendly
And not because they are sexual or anything (in most cases) but because it's literally filled with adults
And adults just say and talk about stuff kids shouldn't listen to
Even if said adults are dressed as cute animal mascots and act childish
Why do you think someone who rapes little boys deserves to go on and live a normal life when those children will forever have to live with truama and all sorts of other issues thanks to this asshole choosing to use them as sex objects?

would also like to point out that "growly" is the name of a growlithe character from the indigo league series. growlithe is literally called "the puppy pokémon" and i believe has references to it being young/a puppy in the show. considering that his suit looks like a growlithe and. yknow. everything else, i wouldn't put it past him to be murrsuiting as a cub character
I thought it was spelled "Growlie"... But I could be wrong. 😅
All humans are furries..

I remember seeing him walking around the main event space during the photo booth event in BLFC 2019.
This was before I knew anything about him
Perhaps we should stop waiting for cons to do something, and be proactive our selves.
Honestly i feel horrible from learning this, that person was an icon for the fandom for a while and this saddens me a lot.
Growly was never an icon the fuck you talking about lmfao
I hope cons and the fandom in general keep that sick freak out remember we can show them the door and we can push them out we don't need people like that in are fandom
Unfortunately, the issue isn't just the attendees of the convention spaces. Con staff are a significant problem as well.
Bulldookie! I have had my suit since 2013/14, yes it has some signs of wear and tear, but it is still in lovely shape. I still get compliments on it.
He likely sinned in it...
Chris Hansen did a little trolling.
Lmaooo I’m honestly still a little blown away that he had the balls to ask the admin to remove someone for…informing the public about his conviction of pedophilia that he served two whole years for. Not even ashamed of it
does the BB in BBrackets stand for "Best Bnuuy?"

Dude left some nice comments on some tiger art I made back in the day. Years later I found out his backstory and shuddered
it actually is kinda hard to brush someone off even if they have done awful shit. was mutuals on instagram with a person and saw them encouraging a 15 year old to draw unsavory things despite them being an adult... we werent even good friends, and im a minor myself and they had made some comments towards my fursona, and the attention wad nice. i realized how messed up they were and all i could do was to silently unfollow, it took a while for me to muster up the strength to softblock.
Just has a few little holes I have to sew up, but that’s normal wear.
your sona is god-tier. i love it and the video was good!
Im glad other people share my opinion about using "mate" and "yiff" and other similar words in a serious tone.
I just found your channel, and that rabbit oc/or sona is reaaally cute! Im looking forward to seeing more from your channel!
Turns out he's a 15 minute drive from me. I'm going to do devious acts.
Idea: Pins at furry convections that show they are minors or older, pref gender, sexuality, etc.
Why don't we just make that a law everywhere, life would be so much easier if we all knew each others pronouns and sexual preference and age at a glance, then we can round up the ones we deem undesirable and toss them on a train
I lolled at "furry convections", like areas of high furry concentration spread out into less furry areas.
I simultaneously love and loathe being in this fandom because like it's fun and you make cool friends and get to feel cute and then you get into the lore and it's all like
EDP445 been real quiet since this dropped.
He was last heard on October 6 taking a job for Lyft, but that's not going to last long obviously considering how everyone practically knows what he is and no one will employ a chomo like him.
lmao I thought the guy was just gonna be like creepy, you most definitely down played how evil this man is at the beginning 😭
As a long time furry I suggest to go to a furcon when you’re an adult at least 20-21, and please go with friends you honestly shouldn’t go alone
(The proof is in the pudding)
If you're within any group, in which people of Any kind are routinely victimized, you need to get your shit together- it's your sign.

I just noticed, his fursona looks exactly like Growlite
Yeah, does kinda look like Growlithe now that I look at it properly, would probably look better if it wasn't so neglected
Probably why the name is ‘growly’
Well.. yeah. That's.. what it's based off of.
Yeah, he is a Growlithe. He even has (had?) a shirt that says "Growly 52" like a sports shirt. He's the one usually getting the Pokémon suiters together for a photo shoot.
I'm not a furry, but i am a drama fiend. These videos are so well made
Hey, youre videos are super interesting.
Isn't Chewfox the one who went on Dr. Phil or whatever and did no favors by pointing out the weird things she did in bed and in suit?
@@Penoatle The Tyra Show and yeah, that whole show was a frigging mess! i met Growly at a local furry meetup at the age of 13-14. and i would see him at that furmeet every month until i stopped going. thank god i stopped going. i even remember my dad talking to him and suspected nothing. Scary as hell man

Ah yes. Time to talk about furry conventions. One of my favorite vids was from Internet Historian
"Sorry guys. The trolls have won yet again."

I’m safe, because Ireland has no fucking con :w;
As a child those images traumatized me
@Beardust It's not just a diaper.
