Where did you hear this? It's possible the laser can cleave some molecules and just happen to produce carcinogenic compounds, but that's mostly theoretical at this point. And there's no way for most people to check this out since there's no hard data about whether this actually happens or to what extent. There's one university researching this but they haven't published anything yet AFAICT. Laser tattoo removal also isn't breaking down ink at a molecular level. Instead, it heats up the large blobs of ink in your dermis, causing them to break apart into smaller chunks of ink. This makes it much easier for your immune system to remove the ink from your body.

As someone who has had six laser tattoos removal sessions that does not tickle. Normally they apply an numbing cream an hour before the procedure. Then they have an air conditioner with hose that is given to the patient to help reduce the burning. Takes about a week to heal with a lot of Aquaphor.

As someone who has had six laser tattoos removal sessions that does not tickle. Normally they apply an numbing cream an hour before the procedure. Then they have an air conditioner with hose that is given to the patient to help reduce the burning. Takes about a week to heal with a lot of Aquaphor.
