Is it me, or do these Hawks REALLY fly faster through the loop than ANY other aircraft - so nimbly too! Graceful little buggers, makes you really proud of them!
Even with the current lockdown you are putting together some priceless work of past video! Here in the US there have been many low flyby's in support of emergency medical services, the other day I had two V-22's fly low over my house and a couple weeks ago at work we had both teams, USN Blue Angels & USAF Thunderbirds do a low flyby together. Even though I see V-22's and H-47 Chinooks everyday, it was a treat to see two V-22's fly low over my house. Thank you for all that you do!
Brilliant as always. This will be the year I visit the loop, as long as we are allowed out, seeming going abroad isn't gonna happen for a long time to come.
My goodness the shooter here is absolutely on top of their game. Superlative shots and beautifully composed. I’m impressed and more than a bit Jealous!!! Thank you for sharing. Ciao.
I will always remember when the red arrows flew over my house (about 50-100 feet it seemed) I heard this huge rumbling noise getting louder and as i ran out in the back garden they all shot over, wow! never fails to impress me. They went on to do a flight rehearsal coming up in the next few days.
Sea Skimmer Thats awesome, i live in a region called Twente in The Netherlands wich is a low-flying area for f-16 and such so i see maybe 2 or 3 f-16s going 50 feet over my house every week and believe me they still never fail to dissapoint.
Objectively speaking military aircraft are little more than tools, with function taking precedence over form, but I'm sure that most viewers would agree that if not beautiful they are often visually exciting. The Hawk is such an aircraft - a gorgeous thing, irrespective of the colour scheme. Great footage as always Dafydd.
interesting paint schemes on those hawks. Your shots bring out the details of the aircrafts that are in action in a splendid way ! Thouroughly loved this one also.
The Red Arrows have also made appearances here in California from time to time and they're always a hoot to watch! These little jets are just so darned cool anyhow. Fun to watch!
YOU get some GREAT shots ..... and these pilots put on a GREAT show............... Thanks Dafydd ! WE have a SHOW here in Oregon Today across our city at 10:00 a.m. , a whole bunch of F15's flyin' low over the Hospitals . Hope you are well and those around you too.
Yet another amazing Video. I appreciate the effort that goes into editing these. I used to live near Welshpool but now live in Houston. Last July I visited my family and we spent an unforgettable day on the mountains in the Mach Loop. That you for including the camera settings. I tried to take some pictures with a Nikon Z6 and 200-500mm lens but being mirrorless made the panning really difficult due to the lag in updating the viewfinder. Those are incredible still shots, pin point sharp and the speed they come through it's not an easy task.
Another stunning example of your brilliant work Dafydd, I'm totally in awe of your talent.👏👏 Thanks for continuing to post new material in these uncertain times. Hopefully I will be stood on the hill soon trying to get some nice clear shots myself 👍🤞 Stay safe 👍🌈
Another amazing video as always, and the photographs are phenomenal. Thanks for adding your gear/settings info in the description and on photos.. That's killer for all of us with curious/inquisitive minds, and much appreciated. Question: Are you using certain auto focusing options? Or manually focusing? [I almost always manually focus, but my Sony A99ii & A77iis have great af options too] Both methods obviously have their own pros / cons, that's why I was wondering.. Thanks again! 😊👍 Sam -

Thank you Andy. Stay safe also 👍
The Hawk T2 would make a nice ground attack aircraft, I can see it doing the role the Jaguar used to do.
Superb shots
Thanks for watching

Thanks Shaun. It’s a great nimble jet that trains the front line pilots of tomorrow 👍
Stunning shots there Dafydd, the black Hawks are quite something aren't they.
Thanks mark.
They certainly are ✈️👍
@Mark Jempson
They are beautiful - the sleek, uncluttered, gently curving lines remind me of 50's Grand Prix cars .
@@ianmacfarlane1241 yes indeed!

The Hawks always seem to hustle along , for a subsonic aircraft !! Wales UK.
Gosh, that was so fantastic!!! :-)
Awesome well done

Salut DAFYDD,
WHAOUU Thank you DAFYDD👍❤
I love the Hawk but they didn't half turn a graceful swan into an ugly duckling with the later version...
Great pics, thanks for the video!

Oohhooo...
Anddd Bommmm... 😲✈️🛩
Beautiful Deadly Fighter's.. 😁😀😊

Muito legal filma um desses aviões. Very good. Amazing.
They should name it BOOH
Bat Out Of Hell 👍
Excelent work. What mode did you use (Appertur/Shutter priority) for the photos?
Do you sell your stills and if so how do I get a hold of you. I see a lot of great stills in your videos I would love to have.
Dafydd, have you ever hiked up that mountain with no results?
Many times and more often these days. All part of the fun 🤢😁
Dafydd Phillips
Well you have our gratitude. Thanks
Awesome as always. What lens?
Thank you.
Canon 300mm f2.8
@@DafyddPhillips Do you ever use a 70-200 in the loop?
That must have been a shock or are they there often?
Probably the more common jet to be seen in the hills ✈️✈️
Always hurts my feelings to see a rear seat empty... 😭
Looks faster than the f35
It’s pretty nimble through the valleys
mi piaceva fare il pilota
Much rather see info on the aircraft.
For most that view these... shutter speed is meaningless compared to AIRSPEED.
die HAWKS blijven vet hoor, tering zeg, zulk vlammen
