im staying with camcorder the HCX1 set up with Sachtler FSB 8 head with flowteck 75 legs plus Atomos ninji v external monitor very good bright screen this is to see what your filming in sunny weather i just need practise filming with video head at airfields and fingers cross 2021 airshows
They do it voluntarily. They`re all ex Royal Navy pilots who have retired from active service with an absolute fortune in the bank from their service days !
@@scottwilson6467all RAF pilots are currently serving fast jet pilots. They apply for it, but it's not a volunteer position. They are paid like any other RAF pilot.
Love the red arrows!!!! Weird thing is when I see them I get all emotional and all patriotic. Soon as their done I’m back to thinking England is rubbish 😂
I honestly didn't think the first 3 aircraft were going to get airborne. Especially when the others behind them were in the air. Such a great aerobatics team easily the best in the world. To think the MOD wanted to scrap the Red Arrows altogether! Ambassadors to this country and they wanted to scrap them. I wonder what aircraft will eventually replace the Hawk?
Can somebody tell me what aircraft that is? its not the 18s our Blue Angels fly... i like the RS display better than the Angels🇺🇸🇬🇧... but both are a true mastery of piloting

SO GOD BLESS THEN.MY SUGGESTION I MADE TO BLUE ANGEL, THOUNDER BIRD IS GOOD FOR RED ARROWS AS WELL. I want to be in that thang that sounds so wrong. Truthfully I mean The AirCraft
@@vincenthow5709 doubt it, they the best of the RAF and the RAF have best pilots in the western world. They would be in typhoon or F35 if you was to fight them
Who? 😂 If you have to tell people what country ( in brackets) they are from then their reputation isn't as prestigious and impressive as you think. I'm sure the reds love pizza who doesn't!
Not seen the Blue Angels but at RIAT 2017 the Thunderbirds routine was no where near as complex as the Red Arrows. The Italian Frecce Tricolori in their MB339s are the only team that come close in my opinion. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Essential RC it’s very hard to compare the two teams as they’re completely different styles of flying. The Blue Angels do seems much more precise in their timing and formations but nobody comes close to the Red Arrows in terms of aerobatics. I’m sure the Pilots of both teams are just as skilled they’re just geared to different styles of flying

Saw them training in Akrotiri - Cyprus and it was the most amazing thing ever. We were standing on a big cliff and they were doing this on our level.

great filming of the reds sir i use the HCX1
Looks like a nice cam. Like mine you might need a mono pod with a fluid base and video head if you film for a few hours at a time! Good luck
