Thank you Ladies for your work, courage, wisdom and observations. Yes, the mainstream media let us down as has so many aspects of the mechanics of the national process. I’m so gratified to hear about and celebrate your successes! I toast you all!!
I’m so proud of what you all have done in such a short time. Now you’ve got footing so don’t be discouraged. Take some time to recover then forge ahead! Democracy needs all your voices!
Kamala lost because bigotry has overpowered the flavor of our melting pot. To everyone who's feeling frightened and worried...I see you, i will continue to support human rights. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
@carolglynn8260 too many "good ones" did not vote. Lack of turnout is always troubled me. They need to read the poem First They Came For...and really sit with it. I'm a 55-year-old granny veteran without much of a filter. My mom almost died from a pre Roe abortion when I was a baby. I went to prom with a gay guy who I still keep in touch with. My spouse is disabled, I work in a grocery store...working poor. My daughter and 2nieces are in their 20s and I work with a lot of college students and older workers. Healthcare is a necessity, should be a right...keeping a citizen in sound mind and body is beneficial to the society. I feel that should be a priority. After all that's how tax dollars keep flowing.
Good news Stafford County elected our first female Sheriff, Kathryn Mone. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
My 82 y/o husband so voted for Hillary and Harris made the comment yesterday morning. "Men won't vote for a woman." I saw a meme on Facebook yesterday: I knew men hated women, I didn't realize women hated women. Grieve, then get a move on, breathe, drink water (leave the alcohol alone, it never good for us), get some exercise, quit moaning to each other and keep working. Blaming anyone doesn't help. It is what it is. Let's get a move on!! I'm 73.
Check with your town hall , county coop, and churches with a rainbow flag. Good on you, channeling that energy for good. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.
Thank you. I needed to hear fellow women trying to process what has happened. It is a disorienting feeling.

I am so frustrated to live in a red state where my vote never counts. And to live in a country that does not recognize the role women play. 37:42

This will be difficult with strangers - who sold us out? I live in hate-filled MO. I know they cheated. WE LOSE!

If you think bigotry is why Kamala lost, you will keep on losing.
We are not weakened - we will become stronger - ask women on their 60’s and 70’s - we can tell you how we handled these losses. ❤

they won, my spirit is dead. I have no wins to be joyful about

How do we find local mutual aid and other local groups to work with?
