Was on the motorway last weekend and my Mokka lost power all of the sudden. RAC & garage couldn't find an issue with it as engine light wasn't on. Suggested potentially the coil pack & spark plugs might need changing.

I recently changed my coil pack.
I cant take out again the new coil pack it is stuck tightly. How do I take it out? Just pull using force or do i need any tool

Just pull hard and even, or a slight pressure from a screwdriver under it.
Always helps putting some rubber grease around the pencils where the connect to the rocker 👌

Do I need to disconnect the battery before doing this?

Connected or disconnected is fine just make sure ignition is off

But this engine is pretty much in most Vauxhalls

Would this prevent an ESP light that shows on the dash - but only when parked or still at lights?

@@tammymaddison1472 so ESP is not engine related in such. It main works with the ABS. so it could be anything to do with steering, speed sensors etc. it would be best to get it plugged In but might be worth just checking your brake fluid level. Might be setting it off if it’s low

@@owensautotips appreciate your help only had the car 5 weeks. Got halfords diagnostic booked in. Appre your helpm such a pain as it is only when parked and it makes the idle jump as the esp comes on. Idle is fine in first start up and no esp light comes on.
