Very useful fella. I changed my daughters 1.4 corsa yesterday. It has transformed it. 2 cylinders were affected by bad corrosion . Excellent call.
£106 from euro car parts. 5 minutes to fit, but a year of engine light coming on. Vauxhall should recall for clearly failing to resolve this issue.

Thanks to people like you on YT, I now have the confidence to sort what I think may be an issue with the ignition coil.
The car shudders sometimes in 1st. Also looses power (slow to respond) if changing gear to 2nd; especially up hill.
At times, I have to pump the ecelerater or change back down to 1st.
Many thanks for your video. Subbed & look forward to more content. 👍

Top man thanks for sharing, just had my car diagnosed by auto Plaza in west London with head gasket needed replaced and few other bits up the exhaust. Paid £1800 and as I got it, I experienced this issue 10 minutes after I drove off from their garage. They were like it shouldn't be any problems at all. Don't know what to think, either being ripped off, unlucky or just being idiot. Wouldn't be surprised if they'll ask again for some enormous amount of money for this issue when I'll drive back in tomorrow

Thanks for the vid. Just doing a service on a 2011 corsa d. It's only done 20k miles but doing the plugs I notice number 4 is covered in white powder substance & corrosion. Pulling the rubber boots off and the other 3 are nice and clean but 4 is totally covered with the ends of the spring completely corroded . Can only assume water is making its way into number 4 cyl only. Have a new coil ordered from AutoVaux for £87 which doesn't seem a bad price for the same Delphi part as the one in the vid.

Fantastic tutorial.Thank you so much for amazing video.May i ask a question?
My Corsa D 1.4 (2013) sometimes jerking, slightly shaking, refusing to accelerate, service light and check engine lightcomes on. The problem only occurs when engine is cold. After a 10 minute drive, it never show up again. Or if i shut down the car, and start it again, the problem goes away too.
The mechanic said to me there is no misfire, the fault code said 'acceleretor pedal sensor ' issue. But i am suspecting that my issue somewhat related with ignition/misfire.Is there any possibility that a misfire can cause these semptoms when cold but goes away when engine reaches operating temretures?

The hexagons on the old plugs look rust-free, i don't think it failed due to water infiltrations. Anyway i have a 2003 Z12XE Agila and a few days ago i'd been checking things and letting the A/C pump run for a short while, with the hood open. Heard a distinct click while the engine idled and i'm sure it wasn't the AC clutch or the rad fan relay. 70k miles and the Bosch coil pack has never been replaced (only the plugs, last time has been about 2 years and 3k miles ago, Russian made Bosch FLR8LDCU+ ones). Feels slightly jerky, especially when the engine is warm and under load, but the EML never gets on and there are no pending codes either, and idle looks fairly stable. I've also cleaned the MAF and the throttle body, and replaced the pre-cat O2 sensor, but it still feels jerky. I'll replace the coil pack soon.

@@aaanton11 Update. I was right. It occasionally misfired on the 1st cylinder. Changed both the spark plugs (used the newest Champion RC10DMC4, Vauxhall part number 95519055, which the Vauxhall dealer gave me) and the coil pack (used a Huco 133816) and now the car drives so much better. Spark gap looks a sharp 1mm on all old Bosch plugs, and they're in about normal condition (no signs of oil fouling, only a tiny amount of carbon), so it definitely wasn't a serious misfire. One sparkplug, the one that looks the most carbon fouled among the others, seems to have a tiny interrupted carbon ring on the ceramic. Keep in mind that the P0301 fault code showed only on a professional code reader. My Viecar CY300 missed it completely and the CEL didn't light up. But the ride was still jerky nonentheless.

I got misfiring on my corsa rac said it could be spark plugs or battery they changed the spark plugs and said I needed a rocker gasket cover aswell so did that for a new battery fitted aswell it did run better after however I still have misfiring and the gears lose power sometimes and it really struggles in low gears.my rear engine mount was also broken so the car was shaking while idle and I had an oil leak.
I had someone else look at it he ran diagnostic he said cylinder 3 was not running as it should 80 when the other cylinders were all fine at like 200-240. he wanted to take the engine apart to investigate further and to charge me a full days labour £550! So I said no as the car only worth 1000 and have already spent £480 on repairs.
Halfords said to replace the coil pack and fix the oil so I’m going to try that and hope it works and passes the MOT as the misfiring makes it fail on emissions. I did change the engine mount so it doesn’t shake anymore!

What are the recommended gaps on the plugs? Is that determined only by the vehicle manufacturer, or also by the spark plug model? Where should I look for these parameters? Finding the correct spark plugs seems to be pretty cumbersome. When I tried to use the part finder on different sites, like Bosch, I'm told that the entered VIN is invalid, although I checked it 3 times...

Scanner revealed coil pack issue as did dealer level scan.
Replaced coil pack with Bosch (Haas didnt work) coil pack amd changed plugs while coil pack was off and now car runs great..BUT engine MIL light is still on. Have done 1 drive cycle lasting about 20 mins but it hasnt gone off. You didnt say at the end of your vid if rhe MIL went out straight away or if it needs 3 drive cycles.
