Nice instructive video this, well done! Just at the stage on my own Rio where the timing chain cover needs removing, but it seems mine is a lot more stubborn than in your case. Where do you recommend as a safe place to pry the cover off? I can't see anywhere that would suggest so without bending the cover itself

the carbon comes from bad injector seals combustion leaking into cam shaft area then the carbon finds its way back down to the sump where its picked up from the oil strainer. Pull injectors and clean and fit upgraded seals. No point changing strainer without rectifying the reason its blocked

left car with mechanic 3 weeks ago------only this week he told my daughter that all 4 injectors where faulty and he had got them refurbished at a cost of £650 plus vat which floored her-engine management light on and car missing thats why she took it to him in first place--i have watched ur video here-hes now saying he cant get the injectors programmed in- scanner wont accept the codes-so he says-now hes taking car to a place bout mile away from him does electronic work to vehicles-another cost--my query to you is -would the car start at all if all 4 injectors had to b reprogrammed-surely the car brain wouldnt let it start at all------he was seen driving out of garage today to drive to this place she already asked for receipt for injectors of him but hes stalling-her husband can claim the vat back----somethiung doesnt add up here

Well, I bought 3 torches on one of the sales they had on the official web site, sorry - but this torch is not as good as it seems.... The led stripe is nice but it iluminate too high and the light is not that strong. The rounded light is much better. Another down fall for this torch is the batterry that does not last more the 1 - 1.5 hours ,really disapointing.

My lr4 2010 gave the warning at 1500km after a major service. The tank was at 1/4. I was chasing a border before they closed and it was raining. I decided to fill up the tank in an attempt to decrease the fuel water ratio. After 20km the warning went away. Any comments?

Great video very similar to my 1.5 engine ..my pipe that sits over cover though has a clip to pull out further down to the left more fiddly had it off doing the egr clean and clutch master replacement . What's the app you used please? I may need an injector shortly and trying to find the cheapest way to programme it ty in advance

No need to remove the nut in the door, the fastener holding the nut implies that it needs to stay there.

Worked a treat, took me 10mins max. There was a small piston inside and one end had snapped off. Just removed inside components with 2mm drill by pushing out.

can we replace it with one bigger battery like 10-20kwh capacity and convert the car into pure hybrid?
