  • The Coast to Coast Connector or C2C is an audacious project by Florida, where you can cross the state riding on paved bike trails from the Atlantic coast all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. A total of 250 miles of bike trails and bicycle lanes connecting Titusville (east coast) to St. Petersburg (West coast). An awesome cycling experience that many cyclists will be thrilled to ride. At the time of this post, there are still some gaps to be completed, where the largest gap in the South Sumter Connector in Sumter County.
Some of the bike trails that are part of the C2C is the East Central Regional Rail Trail, Seminole Wekiva Corridor, West Orange Trail, Lake Minneola Scenic Trail, and Suncoast Trail.

Great descriptive video. I did most of C2C Trail back in June myself. It was great to see familiar places in your video again. I actually want to do all thing again from Titusville to St. Petersburg. Now I have better idea what to expect. I'm glad I found your channel since I do overnight bike rides.

It will be quite an experience to do all the C2C. Cover around 90 miles on the first day then complete the rest.

I agree 100% Brandon is not bicycle friendly. I live in Plant City and it is a little better. Wish Hillsborough county was as bike friendly as Polk.

I moved to Florida about 3.5 years ago. I looked all over the area for cycling/running friendly areas. Ended up in south Pasco in Odessa. Less than a mild from my front door I have access to the Starkey Gap Trail and south to the Pinellas trail or north through the Starkey Wilderness preserve and the Suncoast Trail.

Nice to see a vid from where I live at. As of today, the part of the video where the trail got cut off is finished. I start at the aurantia trailhead in tville. I get about 25 miles on the secluded trail before I hit a stop and have to get on a main road. That's the farthest that i've got on the ride. Got a vacation coming up and planning a coast to coast round trip.

Key West to SC, that's amazing! Kudos!
I am prepping to ride Fla lengthwise North to South in a month or two. If you can, can you share your route or Strava? Would really help!
Were you able to ride from Key West to Miami? I am trying to ride it in the opposite direction - from Miami to Key West, but Google maps says it's not possible and that I'd have to take a ferry because of a gap in bike path in the Marathon to Big Pine Key section. Normally a gap in bike path would not be a big deal, but in this case the only other option is a highway (US-1S ). Do you know if the bike path only goes North in that section?
Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I liked the video. We are getting ready to move from Germany to Tampa Fl area. We are looking at the Land O Lakes and Odessa area. Do you know rides in that area and also any good STRAVA clubs I can join to get used to the area and routes? Also is there any good videos of the area? Heading to Tampa on 07.11.22 for one month to hopefully close on a house.

Hi! Thanks for this content! I'm planning a Florida ride in Feb or Mar.
Are you familiar with the miami to key west route? Google maps says there's a gap between Marathon and Big Pine Key and refuses to bike route directly from Miami to Key West (Google maps says one needs to take a ferry from St Petersburg to Key West). Do you know if the Marathon to Big Key Point is bikeable? Thanks!

I have two regular bikes and one ebikes I love to ride and it’s just because I have the time, I have reached an age that I find time to maintain my good health. I live in Clayton county Georgia I have to pick a time of day to ride my bike because of how dangerous the road traffic is, Georgia roads are not made for bike riders it’s just to dangerous when you know their are people out there who lack patients for bike riders and are Goverment just doesn’t care 🤷‍♂️ about are health. Just look around at all of the over weight people in Georgia wishing they could ride a bike 🚴 to work, for their health or just for fun. The human stress levels are through the roof I am surprised 😲 that we don’t see more heart attacks and strokes.
