I bought a really nice One from Facebook marketplace for $25 and it was a pricey one so I hit the jackpot and thank you so much for your videos. I love them.
I bought an oven thinking it was convection. Turns out it is a toaster oven / air fryer/ rotiessere. thank you for your video. I was going to return it but was able to sublimate my mugs with the silicone wraps. Thanks for your video blessings
Thanks for the tip about buying the toaster oven at a thrift store! Never crossed my mind and now, I’m on the hunt for one!! I’m just getting started in sublimation projects and I’m finding that it’s kind of expensive.
Thank you for this video. I wasn't sure if I could use a toaster oven so this was a big help. I love Thrifting but I bought mine at Walmart on clearance
Hello Troy ! I’m so glad I found you. Your videos are perfect 😍 Straight to the point and I love it. You are easy to follow I’m a newcomer and you answer questions without having to ask. WOW Thank you! I’ve watched others and they kinda go off into something about a step and bye time we’re back to project I’m dazed & confused ! Everything you walk me through I absorb with no problem! Your speed is spot on ! Can’t think you enough. Can’t wait to see more. Also I really loved how you shared how to try this without having pay a big price when not sure if it’s what you’re looking for. Cannot praise you enough! Looking forward to seeing more of your Excellent Videos. I actually found you looking for tutorial videos for the cricket, which I just got this month! Again thank you so much I greatly appreciate what you’re doing. 👏👏👏✌️❤️
This was gold! Thank you for being transparent. Interested in sublimation but as stated by comments below can become very pricy. Newbie here, needed a budget friendly method to get me started. Do you think the TOASTER OVEN would work for sub.glass ware? Thanks again.
@@roselynvega6375 sorry. You’re gonna think I’m coo coo lol. No I don’t wear a mask, the smell isn’t that bad. I didn’t see what video you were talking about, so I assumed it was one where I did wear a mask. TGIF 😀
It just depends on what you’re sublimating. When I sublimate a tumbler I do rotate it, but with a mug I don’t. Yes, you could probably reuse the parchment paper. Not a lot. But I think it would be ok.
QUESTION; Have you ever tried not tapeing the ends? I ask because the shrink rap will pull the paper tight enough on its own. You may wish to try it, discover it works and save yourself time and tape. Just a thought.
I have a toaster oven I haven’t used in years! I have no idea if it’s a convection or regular. Should I attempt to sublimate in it or just purchase a convection oven?
@@creationswithtory oh my gosh that’s such an easy thing to do I’m not sure how I couldn’t figure it out! Thank you so much! Your video makes me not afraid to try this out
Does it "have" to be the convection? I have a toaster oven rotisserie that I was just about to put on FB marketplace, but if I can sublimate in it, maybe I will keep? let me know someone please?
Sorry to respond so late. It needs to be a convection toaster oven. And you can always Google the toaster oven you find at the thrift store and see if it says it’s a convection toaster oven. Hope that helps
If you’re using a convection toaster oven I would. If you’re using a tumbler device, you don’t have too. I’ve known people to not use shrink wrap when using the convection toaster oven, I’m just not sure how securely the sublimation paper stays on the mug or tumbler. Hope that helps 😀
I just got into sublimation. I contemplated using shrink wrap but so many reviewers on amazon said that they melted onto their tumblers/mugs and even onto their ovens. I also considered using silicone wraps but reviewers also said they don’t last very long. So I decided I would try without anything except I just took my time and made sure I taped my sublimation paper really tight without any air pockets between it and my project. It worked! Not any ghosting or areas where the ink didn’t transfer. And this was my first time! Also, I used an xl air fryer that I bought new for $30 online at Best Buy.
@@creationswithtory it was a toaster oven but now I want to return it to Walmart idk if I can I don’t want it to be reused but I also want my money back only way is to claim it as damaged

I have the same size oven, I have made two tumblers that have burned on the top side. Any advice?
400 degrees a little under 6 mins in time.
Is the tumbler a sublimation tumbler?
Yes. That’s correct. Is it a sublimation tumbler?
I have seen videos before and they turn the tumbler. Do you have to turn it? And can you reuse the paper that lines the rack?

This looks like the black and decker toaster oven/air fryer 6 slice.. is there anyway you could confirm this? I found a cheap one on marketplace.
Mine is the Oster brand. As long as the one you’re looking at is a convection toaster oven, it will work. Hope that helps 😀
Is there any reason you downloaded the file as a pdf instead of png? Thanks
No specific reason.

So is this a convection toaster oven or a regular toaster oven?
Convection toaster oven
Dose it need to be convection ?
Yes. It has to be a convection toaster oven. 😀
is your toaster over a regular toaster over or is your black & Decker a convection oven?
