I do like Volvo’s but good lord are they proud with their pricing. Every time I look at buying one I end up with the comparable featured/size new BMW or Audi and spend a lot less. Last year I looked at the XC60 and a X3 - same sticker ($52k) and Volvo wasn’t going much under $50k but I ended up with the BMW for $42k and a better rate. Same thing happened last year with the S60 T6 vs Audi S4. The Germans just are more aggressive from my experience. I give Volvo credit though, at least it’s easier to find them equipped with adaptive cruise.
Great video review. This Volvo model is definitely at the top of my list. I’m curious, what did you attach the sleepypod dog harness to? And is this vehicle a unibody? Personally I am still debating between SUV and wagon. If I get an SUV, I will opt for the air suspension so the vehicle can be lowered for doggy entry. I like being higher up for visibility, but I think the wagon would handle better?
Yes it is. And when you fold down the seat, the bracket that would normally keep the seat in place becomes exposed and I've been experimenting with ways to connect to that.
@@heartcomedy5 v70 became the xc70 ("cross-country version of the AWD v70" with higher ground clearance) around the 2007 and was phased out in 2016. Its in between the size of the v60 and v90 cross country.
The only Volvo that breaks tradition and omits the B pillar AC vents is the xc40.. but does have 2 vents in the back of the center console. It annoys me that they did this to the CMA architecture but i suppose helped them in weight savings.
These V60's are popular in Newport, RI, where we are staying. They love their Volvo's here especially the XC60. Would you trade your XC90 for a V60/90 wagon or get another XC90?
@@AndietheLab we have a plug-in Cadillac CT6 right now and a GMC Acadia that will be needing replaced soon. We liked to go XC90 T8 but might have to look at one used/CPO with a really good warranty.
I've noticed in a few of your videos you appear to tease us with what appears to be an Asus Rog phone 2 and accessories. Those phones main claim to fame is that they are excellent gaming phones. Are you a secret gamer or are those phones good for video production? When did you trade in your Acura for a Volvo, say it isn't so!!!

The interior is very nice, but you don’t want a light color interior with kids or a pooch. $52,000 dollars and 2 days later the interior is ruined with crayons and spit up.
