I installed the NEU-F torsion bar on my Abarth last week. It does make a subtle but noticeable difference. I could feel the bar counteract the car's understeer while going through a roundabout reasonably fast. The bar also eliminated the car's habit of "twerking" just a bit on the highway, making it much more stable.
For the two TORX bolts, I had to remove the brake caliper, rotor and metal shield to get at them with an impact driver. It took a bit more time to finish the job, but I did learn how to work on brakes, and I was able to torque the TORX bolts to spec (80 ft-lbs).

Wow wish I found this video before I just went crazy installing mine. I got it on thought and it is amazing!

I absolutely appreciate your torque spec of "tight as hell".

I can definitely notice on my stock abarth its significantly faster on a cold day rather than a warmer one.

What about a weaker front sway bar, and stiffer rear springs?

Any noticeable sounds afterwards? I have the neuF bar but when I changed my tires from 195 width to 205 I noticed a sharp metal on metal click noise when going over bumps

I have a 2013 500e that cups the tire on the driver's side rear. This has been going on for 70,000 miles with that tire being replaced regularly. Any ideas what is causing it?

How has your experience been with this upgrade? Did you find it to be worth it in the end?

Nikas Explores I really think this should be everyone’s first mod. Excellent bang for the buck. The trouble with driving a front wheel drive hard around a corner is understeer. This addresses that directly, for not a lot of money, and a pretty easy install. There is a reason the SCCA lets you swap a sway bar even in the stock classes!

@@EveryOtherFridayOff Awesome reply, thank you for the information I will definitely look into getting this done next. I have not done any SCCA things but maybe one day I will.

To soon to tell. Coil overs are going on today. I want to give it some miles and at least one autocross before passing judgement.
