I wish I would have found this channel before I installed my turbo blanket in February. Question: The bolt mentioned at 3:44 snapped when I took the stock heat shield off. I wasn’t able to remove at replace it at the time because I had to get my car back to my apartment from my friend’s house. Is there a simple way to remove and replace it? (My next install is going to be my Mishimoto radiator hoses, so I’m hoping to take care of that bolt the same day.)
Does the bolt from the bracket that goes to the turbo come out? I’m asking because mine snapped when I was unscrewing that single bolt from the turbo bracket. Can that bolt be replaced?

Just wondering why u wldnt or cldnt me install the blanket over the factory heat shield so u now have a double barrier?
Same question here, I ended up installing it over the factory shiel and seems to work just as fine. But still intrigues me if it's better or worse.

Yes it can come out.
hey if i dont have the top metal shield anymore, can i just install the blanket on the shield facing the engine and leave that top shield off?
The blanket replaces the top metal shield.
Does it fit the dart ?
