Which Moons Can't Be Gotten With Captures? (and how to prove them)

- This is the third and final part to the Minimum Mario series! Ever since I first started this channel, making this series had always been a goal of mine. This challenge meant so much to me, so I wanted to show off how cool it was for those who had never heard of it before. And now that this final part has just been uploaded, a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders, so thank you all for the constant support on this series.

Yo dosle u should make a vid about the other min mario challenge where u try to get as many moons as possible with as many captures, so for example instead of getting a moon with a goomba, u could then see how many other captures u could get that moon with, does that make sense? I think it would be a cool idea
@@JGreen Yeah that actually is something we’ve been working on. I might make a video on it at some point, but my main goal was to just finish this trilogy
@@Dosle22 for the first moon cant you just use the glydon corner clip method to get inside the cage since you are on 1.0

ok final comment i swear: the video is a lot more about the moons that are possible but unproven than it is about impossible moons. idk if it's deserving of a title change though
Moons that are “possible but unproven” are considered impossible until they’re actually proven, so the title fits. So even though some of the theories may seem like they’ll 100% work, we can’t say that those theories definitively prove the moons without someone actually doing it for themselves

all this video is telling me is that a tas for this game is needed, if a moon is tas only but physically doable on native hardware its a success in my eyes like the ABC in super mario 64

this vid is a year old so this might have been done already but if it hasn't, for the painting moon in wooded, there's a glitch with glydon where u can clip into the corners of stuff. i don't have 1.0 so i can't try it but i don't see any reason why it wouldn't work

i think you can get the cage moon using the floating rocks to get an uproot there, than put glydon there, and do a "glydon go down" glitch
Glydon isn’t there pre-peace, so sadly that won’t work

I have a theory, what if for the cage moon in wooded, what if you put cappy on the side of the cage in 2P and did a bonk clip on the side of it?
i’m not entirely sure how bonk clips work, but i think they only work on ceilings right?

Ik I'm a bit late to the party lol but for the one in lake to get out of the fight is it poss in 1.3 and also for the y press, is it the first frame after the cutscene starts or is it the first frame after you skip the cutscene? Thanks!

for the cage moon in 1.0 you can do the corner clip with glydon, there are video of people literally from 2018 that got this moon with glydon

14:25 there's an invisible wall between the island and the kingdom itself
I’m fairly confident the invisible wall only exists if you go to the island from the painting to prevent you from going to the mainland early. So it shouldn’t be there if you go to the island from the mainland with the scooter strat I suggested.

The glydon clip got patched, but yeah it’s possible in 1.0. But sadly we can’t get peace in wooded, and glydon doesn’t spawn until you get peace

Hey Dosle, can you get into the cage in wooded kingdom with glidon and a uproot by uncapturing the uproot right as you bounce on glidon

You can do the Corner Clip with Glydon for the iron cage moon

Why don't you use tas's to test out these ideas? If the moons are possible, it doesn't matter if a human can actually pull it off.
Making a tas is easier said than done haha. but that being said there are some people who are working on some tas’s. but i’m more focused on proving moons myself
