- Super Mario Odyssey has some INSANE captures but the 52 total captures could be a lot more... let's add 48 to get the list to 100 total captures, and discuss what all of them should be! Let's Give Super Mario Odyssey 100 Captures!

Ye it's been way too long. We need an new high quality game on the switch again and odyssey 2 is perfect. Forget BOTW2. That game may never even work so just make a sequel for odyssey on the switch. You did the same with super mario galaxy 1 and 2.

Instead of capturing peach I think a more interesting idea would be to make her a playable character with her unique movement and make it so that she captures things with tiara
I think capturing Luigi could work, but only on the condition that because you've captured Luigi, you can't capture anything else in the meantime. This should make new moons available, but they utilize what I call "Luigi physics."
A Peach capture could work, with her concent. So, after the final battle, bowser is knocked out. The battle has damaged the area to a dangerous degree, and Bowsers minions only save Bowser. Mario and Peach need to escape themselves. A difficult platforming challenge lies ahead. After a moment of panic, Peach has an idea. She puts her crown in Mario's right hand, and bows her head. Cappy highlights how much trust Peach has in Mario. Mario then places cappy on Peaches head, and she smiles as he enters her mind. Now, Peach has a moustache, but the same blue eyes. Mario, now in control, jumps into the air and hovers briefly with a high pitched lets-a-go in an Italian accent, a surreal sound. After a platforming section requiring the hover ability, Mario uncaptures from Peach. Dazed, she puts her right hand on Mario's left shoulder for balance. She thanks Mario, he puts her crown from his right hand onto her head, she gives him a hug and a kiss on the nose, and regains her balance. Cappy, Mario and Peach then make the journey home.

I love all the unique ideas here! I love the toad brigade appreciation, it was one of my favorite aspects of galaxy. landing on a planet and getting to talk to all the toads and see their different personalities or have them cheer you on, it was such a nice little touch imo. Yellow toad was my favorite and the capture idea you had for him was very fun and unique. I also really like the luigi idea, cause I've 100%ed odyssey and honestly having another reason to play through it would be awesome. luigis balloon world can only go so far.

Great video as always! smo is easily my favorite game of all time, the movement options are insane, and that combined with everything else is why I've put in like 3k hours into speedrunning this game.

I feel like the ice bubble would be like the gushen, but gains momentum on its icy path that it makes on the water/poison, but, it's slow on land and dies on lava.
Dry bones are in the game, just in moon kingdom underground and darker side
I think it’s insanely funny idea is that you find Waluigi performing at a comedy show, but he doesn’t know a joke to come up with so you have to capture him, and then there’s a keyboard look on the screen and you have to type in jokes on the keyboard, as as Waluigi

Maybe having Peach as an unlockable character rather than a captured one would be great. Perhaps tiara had Cappy's abilities? I'm not sure how likely it is, but I know I've always wanted her to be unlockable right after rescuing her.

For the captures that act like NPCs, it would make more sense for them to actually become playable to some degree

What if after you beat the game, instead of capturing them, Luigi, Peach, and Wario would be playable characters. (Luigi would jump higher but more slippery movement, Peach would be slower, but she can float with her dress, and Wario would have a magnet that attracts coins, but would jump slightly lower.)

I got this game for Christmas 2017
So I really liked the idea of the concept but the problem is that half of your capture do already something that a existing one can do and for some it will be used only 1 in the Game and as we know Nintendo really lazy so there never really do it

Why not a Pauline capture? That could work like Pauline would be late for work and you would have to run her from her apartment to the new donk city hall in under 2 minutes, I think that this would be a fun mechanic for the game.
