Honestly, props to Nintendo for thinking all this stuff over when they made luigi’s balloon world, it would have been a lot easier for them to just not bother with those failsafes and let the game be easily breakable.
Also this was a really good vid considering what a small channel this is, keep it up
Nintendo relied on the honour system of the glichers and because of the glichers Nintendo were able to Ballance simple balloon madness with a system to check impossible balloons
It's Nintendo, if they're bad at making their game not glitchy, their good at making sure it is as hard to induce pain into others with said glitch.
i mean, those arent really that creative of solutions, those are very basic, like with the automatic balloon placement. its way easier to store the last place of mario touching the ground then to calculate the position of where it would be suitable, and the deletion of extra missions is done in almost every game
I love these challenge videos where the answer to the question is “no”, it adds suspense because we know that these challenges won’t always work

Throughout Mario odyssey, there are large piles of coins. Some of these piles can only be collected once per game, and ,upon future revisits, only give around 10 coins.
Perhaps if you collected one of these coin piles for the first time while hiding your balloon, you could get so much extra time that it would be impossible to make it to your balloon.

someone could still make a new save and get those same coins in order to pop the balloon
LBW is on a separate scene, so are those coin piles even there?

Small???? I do 4 hours of editing for my mashups ( 40 of ‘em )and I only have 84. He has 30k- I’m pretty sure this is 4 hours of editing too.
@@maplario4366 barely. You could get this level of editing done in under 2 hours easily. Voice over another hour if you're not used to it.
@@MoundN they said “ ~20 hours total for the entire process (script writing, audio recording, video recording, editing, thumbnail, ect.)” so maybe I am wrong
@@maplario4366 i mean the chann isn't that old so a lot of inefficiency is there but people give them too mich credit. Editing is really easy and is basically a process that gets more efficient the more you do it. None of it is hard or requires a lot of creativity unless you start mixing effects into the batch too.

Honestly I love when jopes uploads. I think it would be cool if we could get a community mario kart tournament up and running. It could help grow your channel and allow for more people to realize you are on the platform. This could include your subscribers as well as other content creators such as myself and other smaller channels. Just an idea.

The content and quality of your videos is on par with someone who has a multi-million subscriber channel. This channel deserves so much more attention. It is always a good day when jopes puts out a video.
LOVED THE VIDEO!! Ive been having the same question for a while, even if it isnt possible its fun to think in some weird hiding spots like the ones you mention
This is a really nice thought!
As far as inbound spots go I can really only think of using glydon infinite height glitch to get the balloon onto the sand painting island (it’s possible) as even if you know how to do the glitch it still needs to be done very quickly.
In terms of oob spots though there are some more obscure clips, or traversing any oob collision beyond just getting the clip

Aside from clipping through walls, the best spots you could potentially hide balloons are various "impossible" jumps that are difficult to complete. Lakeside Kingdom has probably the most well known one (you would activate blocks with a scarecrow, then time wall jumps and Cappy dives to potentially get to the painting), and the Snow Kingdom also has a difficult jump to a painting near the Odyssey.

Nice try! It's worth noting that despite the claim, (at least now) balloons do not immediately disappear when popped. In practice last weekend, I found some of the same names and balloons appearing again and again, with no break in between for replacement.
