I'm so happy and relieved that the Macaques doesn't replace the 911. As a more practical car or even daily it's a very good choice I think.

@@MrMustangrick Nothing that I'm aware of is wrong with the new Macan. Just Nick's previous two lemon lawed 911's that had severe random electrical issues which is why I would think he should get a special discount on another car.
@@MBisFrenchy In the video he mentioned that he got a very good deal. And he deserved a very good deal. The previous Macan had a number of known issues of which mine had nearly all of them. They have been great at fixing them but they will not give me a 911 or 718 as a loaner car.

I asked the Porsche dealership about the air suspension when I got my Macan S and they said it’s more appropriate for more sporty models like GTS or Turbo. You used to drive 911 so you would have noticed the difference but for normal drivers the benefit is marginal. I think your car is perfect! Congrats on getting a Macan. Such a great car.

Got my wife a Macan GTS with a lowered suspension kit and a custom colour (P98) and it performs and turns heads . It’s a great car. Congrats.

I agree w Nick on Macan Turbo. It’s a very higher performance vehicle. It “only” has 35 HP more than the GTS but it feels like 35% more. I suspect Porsche is VERY conservative with its numbers. You can feel it immediately as you touch the throttle. The extra power transforms the vehicle.

Nice. For me the allure of the Macan as a daily is the easy ingress/ egress. You have to be 6’4” like I am to understand.

Congrats and nice job on the new Macan S. I have a 2015 Turbo and after 61,000 miles it’s still amazing and trouble free. Love the Volcano Grey, Spyder wheels and of course the full leather interior. Wishing you the best of luck buddy.

Had a Macan loaner the other day, really nice car. Love the seating position, unlike most SUV's where they seats are too high the Macan allows to you lower them where you feel your in the car and not on top of it.
Nick, congratulations on the new Macan. Love the color and the interior black isn't as bad as you think. Looking forward to hearing about how it perform regardless of the fact it's your "utility" vehicle. Oh, loved how Tui broke in the rear seat. Gotta love dogs.

Had a 2015 S for 3 years and enjoyed it. Liked it 200% more after flashing with a Cobb tune. Highly recommend.

Nick- I suggested this car. I have the 2018 Macan S with the same color and wheels and most of the options. One option I love that I didn’t hear you mention is the 360 assist - very helpful when parking. Anyway can’t wait for you to compare the 2018 and 2019 Macan S.

Congrats Nick, enjoy! In terms of colours, I have found that a light colour just makes a big car look bigger and this is made worse if the car has a round and smoothed shape. I have in the past chosen dark colours to hide black plastics. In terms of air suspension, it could come down to whether you will use it on gravel roads on a weekend. I mountain bike here in South Africa, so would want the plusher ride.

As an owner of a Macan S who uses it as a daily driver in New England I would recommend the 19in wheels over the 20in. More sidewall makes for a smoother ride over crummy roads and more tractable in the winter.
