Hey guys… The calipers aren’t backwards, I’m using a RSX caliper and EP3 rotor. With this conversation the bleeder is always going to face down. That’s why I asked for a good suggestion on bleeding the caliper off the car. TRUST ME I TRIED FLIPPING THEM 😊
They are backwards bro they are even marked the bleeder is always o. Top for bleeding sake. Start with gravity bleed then the good old 3 pumps and hold. •pause
Aki, check my comment in the section. I got you on the bleeding. Unbolt the caliper from the bracket, point the bleeder up, use a piece of 2x4 to hold the piston in the caliper while you or trap pump the pedal to bleed
That's gotta be a trumpet maxima, im talkin about full on autozone & ebay special with white tire letters, niteshade sprayed lights, 5% tint and a curbed set of 19s off facebook market
Since the rsx caliper are flipped and need the bleeder facing up, I would probably take off one of the rotors, someone holds the caliper brake pads and rotor together while the other bleeds it then install it back on the car. That seems like the simplest solution to me
I've seen people mention a vacuum bleeder which works great. Keep the caliper off the car with the bleeder up and use the vacuum. I cut a 2x4 that was the width of the rotor, put it between the pads with the caliper off the car and had my wife pump the brakes while I cracked the bleeder open and got all the bubbles out before I bought my pneumatic pump

Those Honed trailing arm toe adjusters I am absolutely getting a set of those!!! The one's I bought you can't adjust for shit and there even expensive name brand
The easiest way for me to bleed brand new brakes is I let the bleeder valve open and place a piece of cardboard on the floor wait for the fluid to start dripping. Then closed the bleeder valve and begin the bleeding process, keeping and eye on the brake fluid reservoir always full.
To bleed those calipers just take the bottom calioer bolt out turn the caliper up so the bleeder is at the top and c clamp the piston down with a brake pad m you will be able to bleed them. Simple as that!
Maybe you can pivot the rear calipers on just the top bolts and raise the bottom towards the top. Then insert a block of wood in front of the piston and pump the brakes and bleed

The ebrake cable is very necessary. If you loose a brake line or master, thus brake line pressure, the Lever action of the Hand brake cable would allow you to slow the car down, along with engine braking. I can't tell you how this can save you in a pinch, and the weight savings with out the cable is negligible.
Actually if you lose pressure the e-brake won't work. Even though it's cable actuated it relies on hydraulic pressure to move the piston. On cars that use brake shoes inside of the rotor's hat for the e-brake this doesn't apply.
Just curious, should wait till everything your adding to monolo be put on and you get the alignment done at full weight + you in the car to get the best possible alignment? Or am I just thinking too much into this
Does anybody know how to run the ebrake ? I’m doing the same set up in the rear but I see I need tk swap my left to right an right to left but when I test the ebrake there’s hardly any resistance on the pass ever side to the point it would roll down hill an the driver side won’t even grab ,I adjusted bracket for the cables behind the ebrake but not getting nothing anybody that can provide info as well as bleeding ?

Just a suggestion but would an auto bleeder be of any help. Either way I know you’ll find a solution.
I used a peace of wood to bleed my brakes with that same setup
I put the same thing you did and the way I bled it was by swinging the caliper forward then bleed it so the bleeder will be on the top
Reverse brake bleeder ! We get one off applications at work all the time where the bleeder is facing down.. works great !! Around $60 on Amazon

You can also use integra Type R rear calipers. I got mines from rock auto

Yo trap just bled the calipers off the rear hubs with the bleeder facing up then install on hub after system is bled

integra calipers and rsx brackets work as well . bleeders and brake cables are the right side up

Thats what i was going to say, cause base model rsx rotors are 5 lug
could use everything from an integra for the rear disc brakes including e brake cables
I use a old pad between the new ones with the caliper out

Try a pneumatic fluid extractor if you have an air compressor to bleed brakes
