I’m slightly confused here. I’ve been playing cello for 5 years and most violinists in my high school orchestra don’t even know what key has 5 flats. Also those rhythms can be hard for beginners
When I was in a church-sponsored marching band in the 1960s, we played music in 3-4 flats or sharps after about the first year. I started at the start of the sixth grade. We certainly knew how to figure out how many flats or sharps a key had. And no one took private lessons - it was just a youth activity.
@@PixlyPenguin Don't be silly - on violin, you get a new key every time you move up the neck one semitone - the fingering remains the same with the exception of open strings. . Whereas on a clarinet, the fingering changes with each added sharp or flat.
As a violinist he’s not lying! These are some of the best songs for beginners to practice with! I played ode to joy when I was 8 and I still go back to it whenever I want something more simple to practice with lol
As a beginner violinist I play at school cause I do strings and I play Serenata, can can (vamoosh one), walk on mars, and ode to joy! Tell me if you know these songs!!
Uhm, no. Beginner violinists should NOT be able to play all 4 of these. AND all violinists have their own way of practicing, and have their own concert songs they should be worrying about. Don’t say “Practice better” if us violinists are practicing perfectly fine. Thank you. Edit: One more thing, BEGINNER violinists should NOT be able to play 5 FLATS! This is outrageous.
Buddy calm down it's just his opinion. Like you said, people have their own way of practicing so they might might be able to play this. Also I am a violinist beginniner and can play all of these. Please don't be rude.
In reality experience is much more elaborated piece that that(for example, there are some measures in 3rd position), it's probably a simplified version... also WHY IS A SONG WITH 5 FRICKING FLATS LABELED AS EASY????
Don't tighten it too much. As long as the hairs don't curl when you flip it upside down, then your bow is good. I used to think that mine was broken when I started playing, but I quickly learned that my bow was perfectly fine and it was just made like that.
@@UNI3890_YT you need to move your bow to the G string. After that, you will see that your bow is fine. If it isn't, get a teacher to teach you. I promise you bows don't break easily.
The 5 flats would be difficult for beginners, and the Bella ciao will also be difficult as they don't have the rhythm yet. And In the End has concepts of playing that some students may find difficult. I agree with Experience and Ode though as being easy. I'm a violinist of 6 years
Well yeah a piano is easier than a violin because on the piano you just press a key and it's in tune and the right note, but on the violin you have to know exactly where to put your hands to play the notes and move he bow in the right way
I don’t mean to hate but, I am a beginner and ummm…. I don’t know a lot of notes so I don’t read sheet music I only know the basics like e a g and I think the last one is d if I can remember
I’ve been playing for 3 months now and I alr can play whole sheets of music😅 for a example I’m playing little symphony. I guess it runs in my genes my sisters played throughout school and I’m starting in 8th grade

Little bro is doing vibrato as beginners. I have been in orchestra for 1 year and still struggle with vibrato
dont worry abt the vibrato just get the notes, rhythm, and timing correct
Vibrato is just for fun
