It was United fans jailed for trouble on boat and the footage from the documentary “ Holligan” shows West Ham at Sheffield and outside Highbury ,it also shows them being run by United on Warwick road so the “These Colours dont Run” needs to be changed.Oh and as for the Millwall fans being attacked in that pub,it was empty.

I was at the Birmingham v West Ham game in 1984. I was there to support the Hammers. The referee was shit that day and West Ham should of had at least 2 penalty’s!

Just been reading about ginger bob Millwall , at the time Newcastle "bumped" into Millwall when visiting the big smoke but in the day Millwall never had the reason to come up north as we were never in the same division.....think just as well ....

Once got into train at darlo on way up to the toon , NME boys used to hold up in pub across road from train station called the Bonnie and Clyde .... Bumped into Pompeii 657 crew I thought who the chuff are these ..... All well dressed at first I thought Chelsea but nope Pompeii , they were tasty ..... Being on train from darlo used to be able to spot geezers who were up for it , only being a kid I used to shoot across from station and tip the older lads off in Bonnie and Clyde that a mob was out looking for a bit ......

I was the goldstone ground 1980 issh … 4 ICF got into the Brighton’s north stand and the whole Brighton lot ran for their lives… I was at that game to see a bird.. it was mad viewing from the main stand… the 4 ICF took a few out and a copper and just went back to their pen… Brighton won 3-1 that day and some fans people went home early to avoid any aggro… i never forget tha day , Brighton fans miser well have had white flags to wave…I’ve never seen people so scared

@@redflag8970 nice one, thank you, was there myself, was suprised seeing it on match of the day that night, Alan Taylor scored into the north bank and it looked like everything normal, no celebrating other than a ripple down the terrace, but at the back, as you say, under the covered part, there were a thousand west ham standing in pride of place singing "thank you very much for the north bank arsenal", I'm not saying they have since or did before, but that season, West Ham ruled London, they took every end.
Who was at the Millwall vs Chelsea game, I think it was 1979 when one or two of Millwall black players appealed on the tannoy to both set of fans to stop fighting, both set of fans fought each other for the whole match. Chelsea players was scared stiff and was 3-0 down at HT. Chelsea fan

Chelsea had a black supporter called one arm Babs, and he and the rest of Chelsea took on the whole of Millwall, I saw fighting from the start to the end, ALL of Millwall couldn't remove just a few Chelsea fans from their end. Chelsea did kicked Millwall out of the shed, I saw them running across pitch and I thought to myself that they all looked like a bunch of primary school boys. On the way to Millwall, I'll never forget reading loads of graffiti telling Chelsea supporters to turn back, I'd have turn back if I knew it was going to be that bad.

I was in the away end, but Millwall had all four side of the ground, a friend of mine told me he was also there but kept very quite. What I witnessed is both set of fans was fighting back and forth in the Millwall end for the whole of the match, a blood bath don't last for hours. What happen to you in the shed, all I heard was Millwall fans shouting Millwall, Milwall, Millwall and a few mins later you was all, running across the pitch to the away end, without even standing your ground, was you there???

The Boleyn ground was well on top with ICF ,Under 5s a guaranteed series hiding if you got sussed l! Chelsea at Kings cross We The County rd Cutters served them proper that season to , no mean feat. The ICF had class and a seriously game crew back then , Different gravy back then Lads compared to chair slinging, pavement dancers of today. Respect to you mate

I remember on the way to Stamford bridge 1977 I was about 16 and tube carriage was packed with west ham about same age.
we got to Viictoria (Chelsea manor) and on the platform was a huge mob (no colours)all scanning the carriages...... You could feel the fear and anticipation as we slowed to a halt,.... we'd been spotted.. What I didn't let my mates know was that I had recognised , 2 (now well known) faces as West Ham, so I started saying out loud "stick together lads" ....."we're West 'am, stand yer ground"!
As the mob piled onto our carriage people started to recognise each other shaking handsand laughing etc, ....but I got pointed out to these 2 top lads, (who I became good friends with) as a 'proper "game lad' and a.... Goodison Park back in the day was a great stadium, the old park end and street end with the semi circles behind each goal, i was told that was to stop coins being thrown at goalkeepers? Don't know if that's true? And that 3 tier main stand. Superb👍

Yes. The famous ICF got very schooled in the art of football thuggery when they came to Stamford Bridge in 1982. We, the Chelsea boys, lay in wait for them at Chelsea tube station. We were 500 in all, they had about 300. As they came out Fatty, the lead top boy, shouted there they are, get em. Whest Ham were flailing around crying and saying please don't hit us. One got his ice cream stuffed in his face! Another was given an awful pounding by two senior Chelsia ruffians. Was carnage

I was a regular at upton pk from 72 aged 11, its true that Manchester united took the northbank in 67, they were everywhere.
Another occasion when the norhthbank was taken was Bobby Moore testimonial match in 1970 v Celtic, i wasnt allowed to go as its a school night but my dad told me that Celtic fans had half the crowd, were everywhere all really pissed and looking for west hams skinheads!
All this talk about icf they never emerged till 78 onwards the season we was relegated to the old 2nd division.
Upton park wasn't took mate, man u mainly cockney reds who had the same accent so mingled unknowingly got in very early nobody was there from WEST HAM that time ,as soon as word got out they was swiftly removed, to take an end you have to remove & batter those in it, WEST HAM wasn't there & man u filled it quickly to get in early & see the game ⚒

The gates were closed 90 minutes before kick off, as you know mate back then the Northbank was our end, but i think after that season a lot of the older lads started going in the southbank and it become known as the Mile end.
I was there in 75 v man utd when the gate was lifted off and fighting broke out all along the back of the southbank, the older lot were saying it was payback for 67. 👍

My dad's nearly 80 and is West Ham but not a hooligan. He told me how West Ham would regularly take the piss at Highbury.
The 1975 fa cup game was particularly bad. He said at one point West Ham were terrorizing Arsenal in all 4 stands.
