This was meant to be a personal reward for hitting 50 subs, but since I recorded this, the sub count has actually tripled. 😳 I couldn’t be more grateful for every one of you! Let’s keep it going and get this channel to 500!
Hell of a good flick! And no, mind you, I do not mean "so bad it's good" bull$h!t - I actually think it's JUST PLAIN AWESOME! It's really clever and imaginative, and I really admire it for that.
19:00 Fun fact: Initially, Jojo (that's his name) was supposed to be a stop motion animated puppet. However, due to budget restraints they had to use a man in a suit. Hence his name, Jojo the KLOWNZILLA.
Holy cats! Someone finally reacted to this movie. I love it....the most totally bonkers sci-fi horror movie ever😂😂😂. My favorite of the Klowns is the one the Chiodos called Shorty...ugly and mean, but so darned cute, lol
I had suggested this movie to several other reactors and none of them have reacted to it yet. I didn't discover your channel until today and I'm glad that you are reacting to it. This movie is cheesy but I've always liked it.

"What're ya gonna do with those PIES, boys?" Fun Fact: The giant "King Klown" from the ending sequence, affectionately called "Klownzilla" by the Chiodo Brothers, was actually played by one of them (Charles Chiodo). Stunt SNAFU Fact: The scene in which a car is thrown over a cliff was initially intended to be far more spectacular - the car was to fly over the cliff and crash down to the ground. Unfortunately, the sling rope snapped because effects crew members neglected to remove the stoppers from underneath the car's wheels. The result was what is seen in the final film, the car slowly tumbles over the edge and becomes caught on a tree. Spending Money Wisely Fact: The $2 million budget went primarily on production costs. The clowns and visual effects were created almost entirely by the filmmakers at very little cost.
Rhetorical Thrill ...You're welcome! Yeah, the Klowns were made with swappable parts so they could mix them up to make it appear there were many more Klowns than were made. A total 39 different Klowns (including the two female Klowns) have been counted and named.
Rhetorical Thrill ...Also, I just happened onto this video. Highly recommend you put "First Time Watching" in the title to future videos to get a greater reach.
I think my daddy has your parents beat. I was watching Friday 13th with my brother when we were 4 & 7 respectively. Then when I was 11, I loved dinosaurs & he rented me a R-rated, very gory dino film. My first expsure to gore. Lol
this movie is epic af! thank you for uploading a movie you wanted to watch you are a TRUE G for watching this and reacting to this ;)) fun fact: The group who sang this song, they just sang this song without every seeing the movie..lol. They were like a Weird Al 80's punk rock band. they were known for making cool/funny music!
I remember seeing this when it first came out back in 1988. One of my all time favorites. This is one of the movies that got me interested in horror/sci-fi.
I adopted one phrase from this movie, that I have used occasionally over the past 30 years. It is just so useful in many situations. "Whoopty-goddamdy-doo" Though, I only saw this one or two times just when it was new. Hated clowns ever since first seeing this. Btw, the movie that always seemed to be playing when I was in the kid room at our parents' parties, was not much better. My dad's friend's house was the party location 99% of the time and he would always put a vhs of Blazing Saddles he had in for the kids to all watch. In hindsight, they were all bad parents, really.
@@RhetoricalThrill You should watch Critters then. The Chiodo Brothers, the guys who produced Killer Klowns, are special effects artists and they did the sfx work in that franchise. And Ernest Scared Stupid used the Killer Klown heads for their troll costumes, just repainted. It's a fun time, especially around Halloween.
You should see the outtakes. The funniest one to me,was the actress that plays the airheaded blonde, accidentally bumps her head and screams the word F*CK.Its funny, because of the way she says it.
Not sure if they will actually make a part 2, hopefully they will. I'm looking forward to the upcoming video game of Killer Klowns though! I pre-ordered it
Hell of a good flic here! And no, mind you, I do not mean "so bad its good bull$h!t" - I mean just plain awesome. I find this flick really clever and imaginative and admire THAT about it.
I absolutely adore this movie. It's so cheesy and stupid. I love the visuals and everything. It's one of those "so bad it's good" movies. I got a copy of this last night on DVD. Saw it years ago when I was a kid.
One of the best horror movies of all time in my opinion just the amazing soundtrack alone is phenomenal the opening music to this movie is one of the best I would say it's a killer of a soundtrack lol 😂 but I love the movie so very much and this is coming from a dude that doesn't like much horror movies
Its because of movies like this for one reason I watch bonus features and listen to audio commentaries. Because on the audio commentary for this movie they talk about one Klown gage that. Happens really fast that you probably miss it. Its in the scene when the one punched off the guys head you basically. Have to watch it an pause the movie every second but if you do when he gets punched. You see that attached to the boxing glove is how do I put it plastic exanders. So the glove was basically powered by a spring like device. They talked about it on the audio commentary because it happens in like one second. So its easy to miss but they want people to know about it. Then talking about being a kid an watching things you probably should not of been watching. When I was around 10 my older brother tried to get me to watch Child's Play. That was not going to happen but I didn't watch the entire Sleepaway Camp movie it was also rated R. That may of had some affect on my especially that movies ending. Let's just say once you see it good luck getting it out of your head. But after watching Sleepaway Camp I found myself watching more horror movies. Especially more messed up ones like Hellraiser. So I went from not being able to watch horror movies then after I seen Sleepaway Camp. To being able to watch them then right to movies like Hellraiser. That may also explain why I like horror movies with multiple layers to them. Like Sleepaway Camp an Hellraiser an Nightbreed side note if you plan on watching Nightbreed only watch the Directors cut of the movie. It's the only version worth watching because the movie studio interfered an majorly FT up the movie in theatrical version. Put it this way I have the Shout/ Scream Factory version of the Directors Cut of Clive Barkers Nightbreed. On it on the audio commentary an on the bonus features. Every single person that worked on the movie say the same thing. That the movie studio alterd the movie into a entire new movie in the theatrical release version. When they where watching it they where like what is this movie. This is not the movie in the script or the movie we made. So the Directors cut of Nightbreed is the only way to go for that movie.
Ooh, thanks! I want to see Nightbreed sometime so I’ll make sure to get the director’s cut for it! I love behind the scenes stuff and bonus features too 😊
"Bad in a fun way" - that's called "Camp". I dont think the Chiodo Bros. were trying to make Citizen Kane here. What they WERE trying to do was a fun, silly, campy throwback to cheap 1950s alien invasion movies that incorporated their kack for crazy costume designs and stop motion. In that, they succeeded. To me, theres a distinct difference between a "bad" movie and a "campy" movie. This movie is entertaining as hell, by no means "bad"... bad implies that they just didnt give a shit, or they failed in what they set out to do. This is about as good as a movie called "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" could be.. and the FX work, for the time, is bloody brilliant. These guys were doing some genius work with costumes, matte paintings, stop motion, set design, props, models and practical FX, especially given the budget.
It’s very unclear. At the end Mike is super eager to get his hug from Dave too - he practically pushes Debbie out of the way, so I’m thinking they may just all be a thing together.

I haven’t gotten to it yet, no
So who did Debbie end up with? Mike or Dave?
I love 80s media. Every young character HAD to have an idiot friend. TV or movies, it didn't matter.
