Fun fact about the Matt Damon puppet. Originally, he was gonna have actual dialogue. However, the puppet came out looking "special" when they made it. So, instead of wasting a lot of money remaking him, they just decided to roll with it.

The South Park guys didn't have an issue with Matt damon, when they got the puppet back it looked really bad and they thought it looked like it was mentally impaired or something. So they did that joke just because the puppet looked so stupid they didn't hate Matt Damon personally
A lot of the people parodied in this film 9 times outta 10 had a sense of humor about it. Except for Sean Pean. Matt Damon's portrayal he didn't understand it but admitted he loves South Park and what they've done
As a composer of musical theater songs myself, you are absolutely right! This team writes great songs. This movie, the South Park movie, in fact most of their projects could correctly be called musicals. No one ever calls them that, of course, lest anyone be scared off. But yes, they write great parody songs because... they know how to write great songs.

I watched it way back in the day, from its very beginning, then I just lost track of it and didn't watch it for years. I probably would have said I just outgrew it or got bored with it. I've gotten back into it recently, though, after some of my other favorite reactors started watching select episodes of it, and I'm loving the newer stuff.
I saw this movie when it came out back in the day. My little brother my friend and I were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. What was even funnier is an older lady brought her kids/grandkids to see this movie. One murders a dog for money, another had a job teaching at a prestigious university and by the end of the story is rewiring ATMs to steal money, another is an untalented performance artist who is a serial cheater, cheating on two people who she was in relationships with, and uses their feelings for her to continue to ask for favors even after they've broken up. Another is a lawyer who encourages her friends to break into and live on private property after they've been legally evicted. All of the "friends" encourage their musician friend, who had just gotten done getting himself clean and sobber, to start dating a teenage stripper who is using drugs even after they find out she was using. And the "bad guy' of the story was going to allow his friends to stay in a massive loft apartment in New York RENT FREE and give them a space to work on their passion projects. But instead, they ruin his business plans forcing themselves to start paying RENT like everyone else on the planet, they bitch about it and make it seem like he's the "bad guy." Good thing the music is catchy otherwise that is horrible, horrible story.
Book of Mormon is the best of the musicals I've seen from the past 20 years or so. Most other recent musicals that I've seen (not that many, to be honest) seemed half-baked and had low quality songs compared to musicals from the 50s through 80s.
Is this an X-rated movie? Is rubbing two pieces plastic together sexy? How about silicone rubber? I saw the beginning of the first mission impossible where they trash Mr Phelps to make room for Tom's inflated ego. I haven't watched any since.
Yes to sausage party, no to Happy Time Murders. I didn’t actually enjoy Sausage Party, it doesn’t have the same wittiness to it as this does, and it feels like it only takes potshots at certain parties, but I know a lot of people enjoy it. Just wasn’t for me 😊

But instead, they ruin his business plans forcing themselves to start paying RENT like everyone else on the planet, they bitch about it and make it seem like he's the "bad guy."
Good thing the music is catchy otherwise that is horrible, horrible story.
I was a young teen during Rent’s heyday so it was my personality for awhile 😂 Right about my mid-20s I realized basically everything you said 🤣
top tier comedy
Awesome reaction of my favorite movie!!!!!😊😊😊😊
Thank you! I wish I could have shown more of it but YT was really on me 😂
Book of Mormon is the best of the musicals I've seen from the past 20 years or so.
Most other recent musicals that I've seen (not that many, to be honest) seemed half-baked and had low quality songs compared to musicals from the 50s through 80s.
Love the Channel.. Thanks
Thank you! I’m glad to hear it 😊
Oh no...
Great Reactions To This Great Movie, Sweetheart ❤❤❤
Thank you!
@@RhetoricalThrill You're Welcome 🤗
Alec Baldwin makes it even weirder now past 2022
Right?
💪😁👍
Love this movie, but where the heck is Creed 2?
Still planning to get to it, thanks for the reminder!
Very funny movie
Matt Damon
Is this an X-rated movie? Is rubbing two pieces plastic together sexy?
How about silicone rubber?
I saw the beginning of the first mission impossible where they trash Mr Phelps to make room for Tom's inflated ego. I haven't watched any since.
You think the same as me! There’s literally nothing there, how can this be a problem? 😂
I wanna know what you got against cone rubber? How is it Silly? ....
I'll show myself out. :)
@@uncoolmartin460 Cone rubbers are not tight around the base. Use totally tubular rubbers.
@@beannathrach2417 Ha Ha Ha Ha !! 👏very good. 👍
We love vulgarity.
I know I do!
If you like vulgar, have you seen Sausage Party?
Or...the Happy Time Murders.

😄👍 What this, "Empire Records" and "The Big Lebowski" have in common are that they were complete flops in theaters, but have all more than made up for it over the years by somehow managing to garner huge followings on home video. 😸 If you liked this, then another film you will definitely enjoy is "Top Secret!" (1984) which was made by the same guys who made "The Naked Gun."
Ooh, I’ll add that!
@@IDLERACER yes! Top Secret is dope. My Dad and I wept from laughter while watching that movie. The under water bar fight is the best!
@@RhetoricalThrill yes Mam.. ad that!

21:34 it's true, she's awful in Blue Beetle.
She’s in that? 😮
