A remake of heroes, shadow 05, riders, rush duo, advance trilogy, pocket adventure, battle and world adventure will be my number 1 sonic games for that.
I feel like games like the advanced trilogy and rush, are iconic for there look, so I feel like a remaster would suit them more, a bigger screen and more polished gameplay would make them AMAZING

Either that, or literally just throw money at Chaos X and have his team do it. They already got the 3 stories and working on the Last Story and bosses, so a good portion is already done.

I loved Sonic 06 as an 8 year old when it first came out and just thought I was playing badly rather than realising it was broken. Project-06 is proof to me that an 06 remake (fix glitches, tweak story, add in cut content) would be the best Sonic game. The ideas in this vid are great and you’re completely right, a successful remake of 06 would be one of the greatest reputational triumphs gaming’s ever seen

I really really want a sonic chronicles remake. A truly good sonic RPG would be amazing. And I’m okay with them not really remaking chronicles itself but more just actually try making a full on sonic RPG just like Final Fantasy or Persona or The Witcher. The goal for sonic chronicles was to look at the existing sonic lore of the 2000s and expand upon it. I personally really like the game and beat it multiple times and I just want another one but with no limitations of the DS or anything. Mario got several RPG games but sonic only got one. It’s not fair.
I really don't understand why an 06 remake would be controversial. Most people would want to ha back and fix their past mistakes, so why would it be different here? I get why they won't do it, but I also don't get why they wouldn't want to do it. Also, bravo on the AMV segments' editing. Very well done. Hey Shaulov. When you mentioned Sonic 06 hubs on 9:22, i had THAT EXACT same idea a long time ago. Using the Open-Zone formula from Sonic Frontiers would be perfect for it.
Heroes 1000% would be a $70 worthy remake if they DO IT RIGHT. I would argue that they need even to add a 5th team, and totally revamp the concept of Chaotix. I don’t mind the similar levels as much as others. However I would say they should do each team justice and make the stages vastly different.
I personally hope Sega will remaster Sonic Adventure too, but only by @RubyOfBlue’s version. You’ll know what I mean. Edit: I also think that Ryan should come back as Classic Sonic in Sonic Generations remake. Edit 2: Sonic 06 already has a remake. It’s called Sonic P-06 even though it’s created by a fan.
When I see Capcom doing a remake of the Resident Evil game, sometimes there are lots of problems, like some content is missing from the old game or the original game, so I'm just afraid that SEGA will do that, but we have to really believe that SEGA is very different and SEGA can definitely be more careful in it. If Sega/Sonic Team really wants to risk remaking 06, then they should save it for when Silver gets his year moment like Sonic, Knuxs, n Shadow. Silver got rob thxs to 06 so if Sega/Sonic Team remake 06 and do it well, not only will they redeem themselves in the public eye but even redeem Silver if his gameplay, boss fight, n story are improved/fun

I feel like origins was their last chance to actually remake the original Genesis games, since it's clearly supposed to be the definitive version of them. They should have remade them in the Mania style.
I think you are right, man. I think one Sonic game in particular that needed a remake is Sonic 06. Sonic Team needed to change the story, fix the gameplay and not rushing the game. Rushed game equals to game bad.
I think Shadow also needs a remake that keeps the same level design and gameplay mechanics, but completely changes the story (and I mean REEEEEEAALLY changing it, because it NEEDS that). However, I guess Sonic X Shadow Generations is kind of pretty much that, so I'm looking forward to what they do with Shadow in this expanded remaster. Note : YES, a good Sonic 06 Remake would be an absolute banger that could potentially be a historical revolution.

Great choices. But I'll take a Shadow the Hedgehog Remake. I'm just going to say this. Frontiers brought us a taste of Sonic Team's newly refurbished combat mechanic, with the new Shadow campaign on the way while using Hedgehog Engine 2, I can see a remake for Shadow The Hedgehog. Instead of using the 🔫 as a way to combat, Shadow can just use a variety of chaos spears or chaos power in general to compensate. Update his melee ability from his 3 hit ground combo and one air spinning kick (With the exception of Homing Attack). I think they have a chance to pull this one off and maybe touch upon on the story replay.
Honestly, there are even more remasters I'd love to see, but and Adventure pack, Heroes remake, and 06 remake would definitely be a great start. I'd just be worried about 06, since there are definitely people who'll call it pointless with P06 around, but I'd see be interested to see what Sonic Team tries. As for some other remakes, an Advance pack and Storybook pack would also be great. With the Advance pack, throw in the Advance trilogy, Battle, and maybe even Pinball Party as a bonus, make them wide-screen, add some quality of life improvements like maybe more sprites, level design changes (for Advance 1,2, & 3), character balancing (for the Advance games and especially Battle, I hate fight against Chaos Gamma or playing Chaos) and maybe make a more consistent way to get the Chaos Emeralds for the Advance games since there were the hidden special springs in Advance that were strewn across the level, the God awful medals from Advance 2, and the chao + the keys + the special springs from Advance 3, which all could be done a bit better with better draw distance for the first and thrid special stages, then we'd be set. As for the Storybook games, just get some visual updates and make them work on modern consoles. Then update the voices for both packs, and that'd be just fine (I'd like to see other improvements like cutscene updates for the Advance games, the Storybook games, and especially Battle, more voice acting for the cutscenes, etc. but, we don't live in a perfect world). But it'd be great to see the Advance games come back, since I loved Advance 3, was pretty happy with Advance, and want to give Advance 2 another shot, plus they and Battle are definitely smaller games, so I want to see them become a bit more well know tbh. But yeah, I would definitely love to see even more games remastered and remade, even games like Sonic Shuffle and Lost World. Also, really nice editing on the video. It looks really good, and you definitely have a lot of talent. All in all, really nice video.

Sonic o6. I want an official remake of Sonic o6. Aside SA1, Heroes, and Riders, to me, the very first game I ever played and finished was Sonic o6. I love o6, but I can't deny that it has a lot of flaws. I think if Sonic Team ever made a remake, everyone eyes would lid up and try the game. Some would play it because they heard that the original is bad, and because it's a joke, and some would play it because they'll be happy to play their childhood game. Sonic veterans or casuals, haters or lovers, it would make the o6 remake stand out. It would trend basically. If they do make a remake, here are changes and new things added I wish to be in o6: Outside of gameplay: -Fix the story (keep the concept of the story, because it's actually a pretty cool concept) -2D anime cutscenes -Same voice actors like in the original -Anime humans instead of realistic humans -More life in the stages and hub-worlds -Have the art-style be more like Honkai: Star Rail. Because that game has anime characters in a somewhat realistic environment. Gameplay: -adventure formula -Add some combat to the characters' movesets -better physics -transition to different gameplay styles. For example: In Wave ocean playing as Sonic. After launching off from an orca, you switch and transition to Mach-speed. No loading screens. Like God of War Ragnarok, that has a lot of transitions to cutscenes to gameplay and vise-versa. -And of course, no long loading screens
Unpopular opinion, but I really want a Shadow the Hedgehog remake. I loved that game as a kid and still love it today. I think what they should do for the story is have Shadow be trapped in a time loop to add a reason behind why we have to play Westopolis every time we start a new path, and throughout the story, Shadow starts realising that he's been reliving certain moments over and over again. Then once you unlock all the stages you unlock the Canon story path. They could add more than just the Last Way and the boss fight with Devil Doom. And since Black Doom is returning in Sonic X Shadow Generations they could add a little teaser at the end of his survival.

Sonic 06 is truly an criminally underrated gem, it is more deserving of a remake than any of the Sonic titles mentioned, If Sonic team were to completely overhaul the entirety of 06 from the ground up, with a better narrative, better gameplay, improved visuals, and combine all the hub worlds into one massive open world/ zone. This could potentially be the greatest masterpiece in the franchise, restablishing its own series' lack thereof identity, 'SHONEN SONIC'. You would have a fully realized polished Sonic game with aesthetically pleasing visuals of an Final Fantasy ESC, yet Shonen storyline with some Sonic flair to it. The True direction of what the Sonic franchise could’ve gone. Edit: Also, I would like it if they reimplemented the grabblying mechanics into the core gameplay in addition to implementing a day and night cycle.
Looking back sonic 06 is terrible but it has a special place in my heart because i have extremely good memories playing it as a kid as it was my first actual sonic game outside of Mario&sonic at the Olympic Games. Sonic 06 is what fueled my love for the character even more and made me play all the other games so I definitely would love a remake
Yeah, the original Sonic Adventure duology definitely could benefit from a remake. Perhaps they give the normal colored neutral normal type second evolutions a color revamp so they don't look like the two-tone sky blue Chao. The Chao in Space video Sega uploaded to their Sonic channel updated the two tone neutral normal/fly type to be purple, yet I think they should tweak two-tone chao that are too similar in color or are oversaturated in some of their evolutions and add new Chao colors too.

I believe we are going to get those remakes/remasters based off how good Generations does this year. If it's successful, I'm sure we wilk get a few more. Also, Sega did say they would like to make Sonic Adventure 3. So it would only be right to give Sa1 and 2 a remaster (I say a remake to more current softwar aka game preformance and graphics) so the newer fans who've never played sa1 or 2 can get the whole story
What I think is the game plan is that everything depends on the next big mainline 3D game. If it’s good and majority of people enjoy it. Then it’s go time
I want to see a HD Remaster/Soft Remake of Sonic Riders Zero Gravity, I want to see the visuals like the CGI Cutscenes and the CG Artwork including the Cover. It's my priority and has been since a few years.
Ones that deserve and ones that should are 2 different things. Ones that should get remakes are games like Sonic Heros and the storybook games as they are held back on there specific consoles and are less risky the the ones that deserve remakes like Unleashed and the Adventure games as if Sega drop the ball with them then they are fucked, and Sega knows this which is why they remastered Generations as it is the most well received Sonic boost game and can easily be transported to the newer consoles.

I want a full remake of Sonic and the Secret Rings. It easily has some of the best character moments in the franchise for Sonic and I really like Shara as a character. I think a full remake of the original game that turns the original’s levels into full Sonic Levels would be amazing. Add onto that make the original’s party mode a separate $30 cross platform Mario party could work. After all who wouldn’t want to play Mario party on PC or cross platform. It would easily make more money for Sega plus if you just want the original game you can buy that separately, or buy both for a full $60. It’s a win-win for everyone. Plus if it does well it shows Sega that people do want a Black Knight Remade, and if that does well hopefully we get a third Storybook game, though I doubt that.

The reason sonic 06 needs a remake the most : the concept is extremely cool and grand, a speedy hedgehog battling a time and space monster, that will make people instantly hooked, and since sonic frontiers had a bigger budget and was grander and bigger and they're was more content and story, it felt life changing, from the banger music, to the open zone, and the deep and in depth story, games like that have a lasting impact and are a really good concept, and sonic 06 has that too because of the level design and the music and the boss fight and the areas, but the only problem is, like you said death by a thousand paper clips, it is so buggy and there are so many problems that make it a bad game, so if Sega puts enough dedication, and ambition , it could change how people view Sega as a company, and sonic is already making a comeback, 7/10 games and the murder of sonic the hedgehog, really good moves, comics, the symphony .. so if they do this, all of the positive stuff will stack up more and more over the years and soon the "dark age" won't exist if they fix everything.

When I see Capcom doing a remake of the Resident Evil game, sometimes there are lots of problems, like some content is missing from the old game or the original game, so I'm just afraid that SEGA will do that, but we have to really believe that SEGA is very different and SEGA can definitely be more careful in it. Silver got rob thxs to 06 so if Sega/Sonic Team remake 06 and do it well, not only will they redeem themselves in the public eye but even redeem Silver if his gameplay, boss fight, n story are improved/fun

I think Shadow also needs a remake that keeps the same level design and gameplay mechanics, but completely changes the story (and I mean REEEEEEAALLY changing it, because it NEEDS that).
However, I guess Sonic X Shadow Generations is kind of pretty much that, so I'm looking forward to what they do with Shadow in this expanded remaster.

Great choices. But I'll take a Shadow the Hedgehog Remake. I'm just going to say this. Frontiers brought us a taste of Sonic Team's newly refurbished combat mechanic, with the new Shadow campaign on the way while using Hedgehog Engine 2, I can see a remake for Shadow The Hedgehog. Instead of using the 🔫 as a way to combat, Shadow can just use a variety of chaos spears or chaos power in general to compensate. Update his melee ability from his 3 hit ground combo and one air spinning kick (With the exception of Homing Attack). I think they have a chance to pull this one off and maybe touch upon on the story replay.

Honestly, there are even more remasters I'd love to see, but and Adventure pack, Heroes remake, and 06 remake would definitely be a great start. I'd just be worried about 06, since there are definitely people who'll call it pointless with P06 around, but I'd see be interested to see what Sonic Team tries. As for some other remakes, an Advance pack and Storybook pack would also be great. With the Advance pack, throw in the Advance trilogy, Battle, and maybe even Pinball Party as a bonus, make them wide-screen, add some quality of life improvements like maybe more sprites, level design changes (for Advance 1,2, & 3), character balancing (for the Advance games and especially Battle, I hate fight against Chaos Gamma or playing Chaos) and maybe make a more consistent way to get the Chaos Emeralds for the Advance games since there were the hidden special springs in Advance that were strewn across the level, the God awful medals from Advance 2, and the chao + the keys + the special springs from Advance 3, which all could be done a bit better with better draw distance for the first and thrid special stages, then we'd be set. As for the Storybook games, just get some visual updates and make them work on modern consoles. Then update the voices for both packs, and that'd be just fine (I'd like to see other improvements like cutscene updates for the Advance games, the Storybook games, and especially Battle, more voice acting for the cutscenes, etc. but, we don't live in a perfect world). But it'd be great to see the Advance games come back, since I loved Advance 3, was pretty happy with Advance, and want to give Advance 2 another shot, plus they and Battle are definitely smaller games, so I want to see them become a bit more well know tbh. But yeah, I would definitely love to see even more games remastered and remade, even games like Sonic Shuffle and Lost World. Also, really nice editing on the video. It looks really good, and you definitely have a lot of talent. All in all, really nice video.

remake of Sonic o6.
Aside SA1, Heroes, and Riders, to me, the very first game I ever played and finished was Sonic o6. I love o6, but I can't deny that it has a lot of flaws.
I think if Sonic Team ever made a remake, everyone eyes would lid up and try the game. Some would play it because they heard that the original is bad, and because it's a joke, and some would play it because they'll be happy to play their childhood game.
Sonic veterans or casuals, haters or lovers, it would make the o6 remake stand out. It would trend basically.
If they do make a remake, here are changes and new things added I wish to be in o6:
Outside of gameplay:
-Fix the story (keep the concept of the story, because it's actually a pretty cool concept)
-2D anime cutscenes
-Same voice actors like in the original
-Anime humans instead of realistic humans
-More life in the stages and hub-worlds
-Have the art-style be more like Honkai: Star Rail. Because that game has anime characters in a somewhat realistic environment.
Gameplay:
-adventure formula
-Add some combat to the characters' movesets
-better physics
-transition to different gameplay styles. For example: In Wave ocean playing as Sonic. After launching off from an orca, you switch and transition to Mach-speed. No loading screens. Like God of War Ragnarok, that has a lot of transitions to cutscenes to gameplay and vise-versa.
-And of course, no long loading screens
Unpopular opinion, but I really want a Shadow the Hedgehog remake. I loved that game as a kid and still love it today. I think what they should do for the story is have Shadow be trapped in a time loop to add a reason behind why we have to play Westopolis every time we start a new path, and throughout the story, Shadow starts realising that he's been reliving certain moments over and over again. Then once you unlock all the stages you unlock the Canon story path. They could add more than just the Last Way and the boss fight with Devil Doom. And since Black Doom is returning in Sonic X Shadow Generations they could add a little teaser at the end of his survival.

Sonic 06 is truly an criminally underrated gem, it is more deserving of a remake than any of the Sonic titles mentioned, If Sonic team were to completely overhaul the entirety of 06 from the ground up, with a better narrative, better gameplay, improved visuals, and combine all the hub worlds into one massive open world/ zone. This could potentially be the greatest masterpiece in the franchise, restablishing its own series' lack thereof identity, 'SHONEN SONIC'. You would have a fully realized polished Sonic game with aesthetically pleasing visuals of an
Final Fantasy ESC, yet Shonen storyline with some Sonic flair to it.

Looking back sonic 06 is terrible but it has a special place in my heart because i have extremely good memories playing it as a kid as it was my first actual sonic game outside of Mario&sonic at the Olympic Games. Sonic 06 is what fueled my love for the character even more and made me play all the other games so I definitely would love a remake

Yeah, the original Sonic Adventure duology definitely could benefit from a remake. Perhaps they give the normal colored neutral normal type second evolutions a color revamp so they don't look like the two-tone sky blue Chao. The Chao in Space video Sega uploaded to their Sonic channel updated the two tone neutral normal/fly type to be purple, yet I think they should tweak two-tone chao that are too similar in color or are oversaturated in some of their evolutions and add new Chao colors too.

I believe we are going to get those remakes/remasters based off how good Generations does this year. If it's successful, I'm sure we wilk get a few more. Also, Sega did say they would like to make Sonic Adventure 3. So it would only be right to give Sa1 and 2 a remaster (I say a remake to more current softwar aka game preformance and graphics) so the newer fans who've never played sa1 or 2 can get the whole story
What I think is the game plan is that everything depends on the next big mainline 3D game. If it’s good and majority of people enjoy it. Then it’s go time

Ones that deserve and ones that should are 2 different things. Ones that should get remakes are games like Sonic Heros and the storybook games as they are held back on there specific consoles and are less risky the the ones that deserve remakes like Unleashed and the Adventure games as if Sega drop the ball with them then they are fucked, and Sega knows this which is why they remastered Generations as it is the most well received Sonic boost game and can easily be transported to the newer consoles.

I want a full remake of Sonic and the Secret Rings. It easily has some of the best character moments in the franchise for Sonic and I really like Shara as a character. I think a full remake of the original game that turns the original’s levels into full Sonic Levels would be amazing. Add onto that make the original’s party mode a separate $30 cross platform Mario party could work. After all who wouldn’t want to play Mario party on PC or cross platform. It would easily make more money for Sega plus if you just want the original game you can buy that separately, or buy both for a full $60. It’s a win-win for everyone. Plus if it does well it shows Sega that people do want a Black Knight Remade, and if that does well hopefully we get a third Storybook game, though I doubt that.

The reason sonic 06 needs a remake the most : the concept is extremely cool and grand, a speedy hedgehog battling a time and space monster, that will make people instantly hooked, and since sonic frontiers had a bigger budget and was grander and bigger and they're was more content and story, it felt life changing, from the banger music, to the open zone, and the deep and in depth story, games like that have a lasting impact and are a really good concept, and sonic 06 has that too because of the level design and the music and the boss fight and the areas, but the only problem is, like you said death by a thousand paper clips, it is so buggy and there are so many problems that make it a bad game, so if Sega puts enough dedication, and ambition , it could change how people view Sega as a company, and sonic is already making a comeback, 7/10 games and the murder of sonic the hedgehog, really good moves, comics, the symphony .. so if they do this, all of the positive stuff will stack up more and more over the years and soon the "dark age" won't exist if they fix everything.
