I have a 91 Ford aerostar it's in newish condition they put a new engine in it if you see one out there please put it on your channel it would be cool to see one if they still exist..
If the hatch doesn’t open because the actuator is bad, there is a tiny little plastic piece inside the actuator that breaks causing it to fail. There is a sliding door actuator from a honda odyssey that has the exact same internals as the hatch actuator, so you can swap it over and it should fix your issue. I did on my 98 about a month ago and it works great

Yeah that moldings hardens itself and shrinks at some areas. My prelude has it too. Recently when I went to a body shop I ssw another prelude has that issue as well. Kinda of a bummer cuz up until this day I still haven't find any replacement for it
its unfortunate how that happens. my 5th gen Prelude did the same thing. junkyard is probably gonna be your best bet, but these old hondas get picked clean for parts so fast
Great come up and beautiful car I came across with a 1 owner 1995 Acura Ls now rocking a 98 spec jdm full type R swap, 99 type R front end, OEM Acura side skirts and rear valence’s along with carbon fiber hood and trunk I love my integra and don’t plan on getting rid of it

A GS-R or Type R is a dream car I've wanted since I was a kid. Its rare to find decent example of either or locally these days. When I say local, I mean 2-4 hours of driving across 2 or 3 states lol. Seeing as you live in Washington state, you have a better shot at finding a clean one. Coat the underside in lanolin fluid (fluid film) to be on the safe side.
What the heck? 🤔If this is the GSR from the cars and bids that you pulled, I got a chance to test drive this last year. I even took pictures of it and I got to say this car was really minty but seeing those seats cracked and with the current mileage it's at. It added up some almost 18k miles in a yr because i remember it being in the 110,000's. Also the shift boot is not the same because it had red stitching
Nice to see a DC2 which are becoming extremely rare. Once this thing is back on the road, do whatever you can to theftproof it with alarm, GPS tracking, hidden kill switches etc. Sadly these are theft magnets due to their vulnerable ignition systems.
I don’t know too much about Honda motors and these integras but this thing was way too clean to sit the rest of its life. Glad it’s got a 2nd chance and it looks so willing to get back to the road👍
I’m wondering if someone took the ignition switch off the key cylinder at the salvage yard to try and start it without the key there. Idk if thiefs would have taken the time to re thread the screws back into the cylinder

there are plenty of things you can do to prevent theft, but sometimes it doesn’t matter. but do what you can to make sure you can keep it in your possession

Finding an integra blk leather seats that are soft like new leather is hard af to come by usually the leather is hard as a mcdonalds fries

Just put the original key in the ignition while you turn the ignition switch, and it’ll turn on.
