i work at acura, and we get a lot of these old Teggys in 9/10 conditions. i would say keeping it stock+ is always a better look than fully modified

I got to meet a Lady who until recently owned a GSR for 20 years, A well known ice storm put an end to that.
The mixed emotions as the previous owner. Bottom line, very happy to see this GSR in good hands. She's not too far gone. Under the hood is so OG still 👏🏻

Light restoration+tasteful upgrades like a nice exhaust would be cool… considering it already has aftermarket suspension. All I have on my dc2 is suspension, air intake, and catback exhaust. Still has that “stock” look

For the radio code,if I remember,you maintain the 1 and 6 button which will give the code for Honda to give you the other code to unlock it
You should be able to find the code on a sticker in the glovebox.
Or get the serial # and to to the Acura website and you can still get the code.
That check engine code is most likely for the missing O2 sensor

I'm excited for this one, no worries that you're working on two hondas right now! if it was me I'd go stock header/cat + aftermarket catback. someone parks one of these regularly in the outdoor parking lot near my work and i'm always a bit scared for it, but maybe they intentionally park it near a major road for safety lol

sidenote: i believe for 98-01' integra's the hatch needed to use the key to open them, compared to 94-97' you could just pop it open from the drive seat.

wow for this kind of car shi its a beauty seeing this car in good condition i have a 97 Acura integra ls sport it has a b18b1 engine with 261k miles with good front interior its clean but the last owner gutted the back seats just to install a rear strut bar for the ride to be smoother which doesn't bother me but overall love the car and shes in good condtion very awesome to see this car nice and running!

Awesome vid! I'm still driving my 2000 GSR, for over 20 years now. But will retire it soon, sadly. Couple oil leaks that will be too costly to fix. Plus need a 4 door car next for the child seat lol.

sometimes the code on radio is from back of radio. works in EU sometimes some radios doesnt have that

How did the thieves steal the car if it has an immobilizer ? Did they get their hands on the right key too ?

Just curious; how was it stolen and joy ridden if the immobilizer wouldn’t let it start? Or are you saying they also stole the key…and if so then why is the ignition ripped apart? Great car!

I mean I'm I'm sure you figured it out already but when you took the jump box off in the car shut down that means it's a broken alternator or it's unplugged because the car should be able to run with no battery
Part of the exhaust that got cut is the cat, that explains it.
Could be wrong but most likely sure the check engine light is from that cut out o2 sensor.
i say give it a tune or even maybe a small turbo but don't overdo it, a little more power never hurts.

You cant daily a DC2 Integra. You just can't. It WILL get stolen.

How do thieves get around the immobilizer? I have a black 01 GSR and I thought it would be sufficient to keep thieves away..or Atleast from them driving it away 😢

It's just too clean to mess up with mods, unless you do a period correct style.
My BMW got stolen from one of its preowners. But the preowner didn't change the oil in over 30k miles and 4.5 years. So you could say that the thieve rescued the car from the bad owner.
