Lift Kit Install Blog Post Article Here: A lot of valuable information in addition to the video. Check it out! www.muddyruttzz.com/post/install-jeep-lift-kit
I know your pain. I installed mine in my driveway as well. Also had a difficult time with the front bump stops. If I remember correctly, I bought one of those Tite Reach ratchet extensions (mostly so I could put the exact amount of torque specified). In any event, I had to use needle nose pliers shoved into the little holes just below the top of the bump stop to hold it while tightening. Had to have a second set of hands; it was silly. I like your thought on the strap wrench
It’s good to have a mental inventory of what’s in your garage. I have had that strap wrench for years never used it. Good luck with your rig! Thanks for watching!
I have this tool that I got many years ago from when I installed a lift on my JK. It’s basically a small wrench that is bent at the perfect angle to achieve that height that you required. I was lucky enough to have the wherewithal to hold onto it. I tried looking for it online to see if I could find it, but no dice. Maybe it’s something that a company still makes, or could be made in a vice with a cheap wrench? Either way good video, I know the struggle, but it is a love/hate relationship that I wouldn’t trade.
I''ll be taking the Gladiator on a overlanding trip in November and give it a good review after that. It did solve the problem of the front end hitting the bump stops and the vehicle drives awesome on the road. I did not need a new track bar, stock worked out fine. Thanks for watching!
Those are not stock tires. Here is the story of those tires: 35s on stock rims no lift - do they fit the Jeep Gladiator? #jeeprubicon #nittotire #trailgrapplers th-cam.com/video/VgePZT1kjlE/w-d-xo.html
I was hitting the Bump Stops in front after adding bumper and winch. That does not happen now. It rides absolutely great. I did not change the track bar since it is only a 2" lift. Jeep got a alignment and now will keep a eye on tire wear. Going to be a little bit before I can go off-road with the vehicle. Thanks!
Thanks for watching! Yes stock Jeep Wheels with 35s. No rubbing at all with lift. I had the tires prior to the lift install. Check this video to see how they worked: 35s on stock rims no lift - do they fit the Jeep Gladiator? th-cam.com/video/VgePZT1kjlE/w-d-xo.html
@ Trip was awesome but short. Almost flipped our trailer when I told my wife we had to test the new Mopar lift by putting pedal to the metal climbing a steep rocky hill.
Disappointing about the riv nuts. You shouldn’t have any issues with a 2K OEM lift kit. I had the same problem. I also had two of the same spring seats. Both left sides.

How’s the ride quality with the 2inch from Mopar? Look forward to your next review.
Thanks!
On road is awesome. When I get back from Death Valley I’ll know how it does off-road. Thanks!

@@MuddyRuttzz thank you for your input how many inches you think you gained?
@ryancarpenter1678 I ended up about 2 1/4” higher than stock.
Great video--I enjoyed watching it! Are those the stock tires (33's)?

Nice job looks great. How does it ride compared to stock?

@ good to hear!! How did your trip go!?
Great, informative video! Thanks for the feedback!

@ sounds like a blast! How’d the lift do?

I was lucky to have some that would work. Spring seats must have been a big delay. Thanks for watching!
