I installed a similar extended handlebar mount bolt on my RT but it was made by Wunderlich. The only thing thing I would recommend is to install Loctite Thread Lock on the handlebar mount bolt threads before installing the bolts. This will ensure that those handlebar mount bolts do not come loose which could be hazardous / dangerous while riding.

I know this is a bit old but a better design of a cup holder is one that swivelas on a ball joint. I have one made for a RAM mount, you can go full tilt and the cup holder will remain vertical with the road. It won't spill like the one in this vid.

1200RT Handlebars do not provide ease of installation of accessories like phone, GPS, auxiliary mirrors or cupholer. Here is a great way to install the ones you want and enjoy the short or long rides on your comfy RT. Please feel free to provide feedback and your method and comments.

Where did you take power for phone holder. Is It taken straight from the battery?
