I do mine but I order their filter and oil via the dealership. It’s $50.
This will just make noise like an a-hole and drop power. Squids suck.
@@truantray Yikes you heard it here first folks, if you like the sound of your motorcycle you’re a squid lmfao. Let people enjoy their bikes man, The drop in power (if any) will not be noticeable with just a slip on exhaust. I’ll agree if you do a full system then you need to re-flash your bike.
I wonder if installing aftermarket Exhaust will void the warranty?>
I’m not gonna say you can or you can’t but normally the failure has to be traced to what caused it and a slip on exhaust is more likely than not to cause any damage
I just installed a KO Lightning on my 2023 ZX4RR and its way too loud. I now need ear protection! Something has to be done to reduce the noise.
Did you use the silencer?
@@imTjmotovlog Yes
@@etobiCRACKscorpions Wow that’s crazy, the ZX4R is definitely a beast of a bike
Paint the adapter black. It looks so much better after I did.
I actually thought about doing this, I still might
The eBay exhaust mod
Gotta do what you gotta do until more companies make exhausts for this bike haha
@@imTjmotovlog yoshimura does
@@imTjmotovlogif the point is to make noise and lose power, just take the exhaust off.
@@SludgedB I didn’t even know they made one, I just checked it out but it seems a bit bulky. Hopefully with CFmoto getting more attention more companies will make different styles
Tldr: no it's chinese junk
Question about the silencer, once its pushed against the adapter, will it be flush within the muffler? My silencer seems to droop down a bit
It doesn’t sit straight unfortunately but it doesn’t seem to affect the sound at all from what I’ve experienced
@@imTjmotovlog Thank you!
I have 2 words for USA purchasers-Magnuson-Moss. This ruling interpretation protects purchasers from tyrannical dealerships/corporations/manufacturers being predatory to have to pay inflated repair/maintenance costs by being to self-repair and self-maintenance. As a purchaser, of course, you need to keep receipts as was stated in this awesome video, but that is even burdensome IMHO. I am fortunate and am connected with multiple high-profile lawyers where I live so I have more confidence in these things, but they legally CANNOT tell you that you can't self service or self repair. Warranty work, of course, is up to manufacturer specifications. HOWEVER CFMOTO does state that exhaust modification does void your warranty, so be sure to never ride/haul your bike to your dealership without the stock exhaust installed correctly.
Ill have to remember that 😅
just bought mine now!!!
I just don’t to find out. I’ll stick to the bikes whose design they ripped off. But hey, buy chinese if you want. Everyone rides what they want. Problem solved.
All sport bikes rip off each others design and look very similar honestly but your right people should enjoy the bike they have 🤘
450SR was designed by Kiska, so who did kiska copy?
This is the same bike with the KO exhaust you installed a couple weeks ago?
Yes it is
Or just buy a Japanese bike and you never have to use the warranty
Let’s hope I never have too 😅
3 years 3 CFMOTO motorcycles, over 30k Km with them, now just got my third CFMOTO 1 month ago, I never had issues with warranty, never issues with them in general, I just make all services and oil changes by the book of each motorcycle, book that comes in the aplication when you register your CFMOTO, with a CFMOTO representative, very cheap, very fast everything. Cyprus country, UE. I changed a LED signal on 300NK on warranty and I got 1 free service on warranty because an engine error... As example an oil change with oil filter costs 25 Euros, I don't want to compare with same size engine Suzuki or Honda 60 euros for same thing, oil + oil filter at their representatives. ✌✌
Here in Europe the guarantee lasts much longer. Kawasaki has 4 years and Honda even 5 😅
Man I wish
I live in Europe in 3 countries, totally fake statement , I bought over 20 motorcycles in Europe from Honda and Kavasaki in 3 countries in last 7 years, never heard about warranty more than 2 years for both Honda and Kavasaki, and warranty covers only defects in materials or workmanship under "normal use" and maintenance!
@@MotoTraumathen I don't know in which countries you lived, but this is the case in the Netherlands, France and Germany. Should you first check the site before saying something is not true?
@@MotoTrauma very strange. If you simply look at the dealer site, this information is public. but I will not argue further with anyone who believes just his opinion is right.
@@vinc2wheels 2 years, Google, it is public, warranty 2 years, extended warranty is something else 💪✌️
Even though I have changed the oil in my cars for over 40 years, I just let the dealer do the maintenance until the warranty expires. Not worth the headache of any dispute.
I just had a run in with some bad shops and ever since then I have trust issues 😅
I disagree. I will not allow these corrupt corporations to act illegally and will not pay their exorbitant prices, and will happily fight them when they act unconstitutionally.
Bro HONDA sel motorcycle in my country and had an SERIOUS issue from frame RUST + thin engine block makes easy to break or blow + thin plastic (already claimed lot of victims) and Honda won't recall or fix the problem instead they just give 5 year warranty after the problem but that warranty is useless because Honda won't listen when somebody claim it . And also Honda has tilted rear fender even in flagship version . Now Chinese bike are getting better and better
Wow that’s insane, you would think a company with a reputation like Honda would make it right
I just got mine this weekend. Ive been told i need to take it back to the dealer for my first service. So they can do a full nut and bolt check as well. 380nzd
If you can afford it, it is worth it, but you are under NO obligation to use them for the routine maintenance, if you live in the USA.
triumph do a 2 year unlimited milage warranty
As do cf, however services have to be done by an authorized dealer and any mods that correlate to an issue or failure null and void it
That would have been good to know when my triumph started having issue 😂
This or the yoshimura exhaust?
Up to personal preference and if you can afford the Yoshi
In the US there’s the Magnuson-Moss Act which prohibits any manufacturer from being allowed to void a warranty because the owner chooses to do their own maintenance. Just keep receipts and if they try to deny it then take them to court. The same Act covers those stupid “void of removed” stickers. Anything from electronics to cars.
Thats good information to know!
But what about federal jail time for removing the tag from a mattress? I'm still in hiding. :)
I want this exact bike sooo bad and how old are you bro
Thats an odd question 😅 but I definitely recommend this bike if your looking to get one. Loving it so far
If you don't have a good bit of experience AND discipline with the throttle this bike is not for you...yet.
@switcherlp780 ive been riding motorcycle off all kinds since i was 11
Was just looking for this, my dealer told me I had to do my first service and every 3rd oil change through the dealer to keep the factory warranty
That’s odd, I wonder what they would be doing different every 3rd oil change than anyone is capable of doing on their own
They just want your money and get their techs paid.
Straight lie. Go ahead and google Magnusson-Moss and go back to the dealership enlightened to tell them they can kiss your [fill in the blank]
These smaller engines need to break in before they really start to shine, roughly 1k miles or so. I have the exact same Benelli with 4k miles so far. Also have a Z125 and Kymco Spade 150i. All three are different but all so much fun and easy to own. The most smiles per gallon. 😁
Nice little Ride for around Town just raising a little Cain...
Learn to ride and quit being a dweeb. It's a mini bike, not a naked bike. You used the word "flickable" because you heard other people say that word, but you don't even know what it means. You know why you only have 152 subscribers? Because this kind of content is BAD!
Flickable meaning it requires very little effort to get it from one turn to the opposite? 😂 Not a hard term to understand but everyone is entitled to an opinion. Appreciate the comment though, keeps the video growing😉
I agree about the high beams! Hate it.
Ive gotten to the point of just leaving them on 😂
What the hell. Your so underrated, could’ve sworn I was looking at 142k subs
I appreciate that man!
Hi, I’m curious if you just took off the decals or bought a new fairing kit. Thanks 🙏🏾
This was how the bike came from the dealer
Hi I also installed this exhaust but its leaking. How do i fix this?
Which area is it leaking from?
Is the headlight still really bad?
I actually didn’t drive it at night but I texted him and he said it isn’t bad 🤷♂️
@@imTjmotovlog Yeah the earlier ones are known for bad headlights. I’ve got the Condor 150, good lights, good power, pretty impressive for $1,618 delivered.
I am looking at getting one of these as a beginner but I'm not sure about helmets. Any suggestions?
I personally use and LS2 but safety for your head is definitely something you don’t want to budget real low if you can
Were still waiting for the 500SR INLINE 4 and the 675SR iNLINE 3... oohh we jst cant wait for those 2 monster. 😎
Im extremely hyped for both of those as well! More the 675 as I love a good triple engine
My first bike was the ‘23 450ss. And I absolutely love it.
Communist bike!
( rage bait)
Ahhh you almost got me 👉👉

Im getting this bike soon, thank you youre a legend!
I’m getting one def worth
I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t understand it at first but the more I rode it and got comfortable with it the more fun I had 😂
@@imTjmotovlog yeah I have a Lifon kp mini 150 and they are awesome bikes and you can do a 212 motor swap for pretty cheap if you get the motor off of Amazon and you’ll be able to ride comfortably on the highway it changes the entire bike and would make for a good video
Theres a 300 swap for this one that my buddy is looking into getting but hes not sure about it haha
How much was the complete cost for the bike? I’m thinking of buying it but I kinda want to know to have an idea of how much I’d be paying after taxes and stuff
That all depends on the area you’re in and the dealer you go through as they all have different rates/fees. Your best bet would be to call and ask for an out the door price and go from there
I'll subscribe when I see a bike vlog 🗿👍
Still trying to figure out how to make those interesting and engaging 🤔
@@imTjmotovlog i'm patient enough to wait 😎🥤
@MotoChrispy u have this?
Pretty sure this is the one he mentions in his recent 1 month bike review video.
Thats is insane it almost sounded like R7 holyy
It’s temporary but I definitely love it
Sounds great 👍. I'm waiting for you too open it up ????
I will be making a full sound only video soon for this set up!
I truly enjoyed your review, keep it up!
These bikes are really really good! I’ve got the 2024 450SRS and it’s amazing! My first bike! Can’t complain at all and I’ve clocked up 3000kms / 2000 miles so far and haven’t had any issues whatsoever! It has fully adjustable suspension front and rear, traction control and single swing arm too! Beautiful bike! 😎👍🏼
Wow! I wish the SS had adjustable suspension that’s awesome
@@imTjmotovlog Strange the USA haven’t got the SRS yet. Hopefully soon! 😎👍🏼 As much as I love my CFMOTO I’m eyeing off an Aprilia RS660 now! 😜
Cool! Great instructional video! 👍🏼
Man, looks nice. I'm curious about reliability and Aftermarket support.
Only time will tell
It is 449.5cc just a .5 cc off from 450cc not like the Ninja 451cc called a 500cc
Exactly, not gonna lie though I would love to get my hands on a ZX-4r
Should be at bottom line when level according to owners manual. I had shop overfill my oil which bubbled out after about 80 mile ride, into a puddle below bike. Made for a bad day....one pissed off biker.
Wow! I’ve been riding for almost 6 years and I’ve always heard that it should be in between the lines. I’m gonna have to look back at the owners manual again
Foil my man will prevent you from extra work.
The 2024 sounds much quieter than 2023 which I have.
The video definitely doesn’t do it justice but I would love to find someone with a 2023 and do a side by side comparison that would be awesome
@@imTjmotovlog I own the 2023 ....pretty loud as is sitting in traffic. Ride those revs your bike is capable of 68 miles per hour in 3rd gear over 80 in 4th 48 in 2nd, and 32 in first. Just gets better when ride those revs. I shift at around 7200 rpms. Get to know what the capabilities of your bikes performance are. Really a great bike in all weather with the current tires.
