I bought 3 years ago. 14,000 mi no problems. I'm on 3rd set of tires, 3rd chain, replaced battery this spring, all anticipated maintenance. The valves needed no adjustment at 5,000mi, need to check them again. I replaced the front sprocket with a 15 tooth, geared it up one tooth. With the stock 14 tooth 5th gear wouldn't climb hills and 4th was too slow. The 15 tooth raised 4th gear speed to 50, good for climbing and lowered the rpm by 1000 in 5th at 55mph. This sprocket change made a huge difference. This bike works better now at 14,000mi than it did at 1400mi. I also ride a Moto Guzzi V7III, and an SSR (Lyfan) 250i Buccaneer Cafe. A diverse stable.

These smaller engines need to break in before they really start to shine, roughly 1k miles or so. I have the exact same Benelli with 4k miles so far. Also have a Z125 and Kymco Spade 150i. All three are different but all so much fun and easy to own. The most smiles per gallon. 😁

Groms are perfect right out the dealer 😎

@@z9brigadeBenelli suspension and frame are way better than the Grom. Grom has a 31mm fork , TNT 41mm fork with more travel and damping. The TNT rear suspension makes a grom feel like a bottoming out marshmallow. The Benelli handles bumpy corners better.

@@kevinnielsen1356 specs might say they're better, and it might truly have a benefit in that regard. But their build quality is bottom of the barrel. Truly a budget Chinese bike through and through. I personally hated how cheap they felt.

I just got one and I noticed it doesn’t have a gauge telling you what gear you’re in besides Neutral, does that seem normal? Coming from a new rider I’m just curious

Theres a lot of bikes out there that dont have gear indicators but I agree it is strange not seeing one on a more recent bike such as this one...

I actually didn’t drive it at night but I texted him and he said it isn’t bad 🤷‍♂️

@@imTjmotovlog Yeah the earlier ones are known for bad headlights. I’ve got the Condor 150, good lights, good power, pretty impressive for $1,618 delivered.

The lights are good, problem was when high beam was adjusted properly, low beam is way too low. The high beam is an excellent projector lamp. I added a wide beam Rigid lamp to fix the low beam issue. Works great now.

@@imTjmotovlog yeah I have a Lifon kp mini 150 and they are awesome bikes and you can do a 212 motor swap for pretty cheap if you get the motor off of Amazon and you’ll be able to ride comfortably on the highway it changes the entire bike and would make for a good video

Second summer with mine. Just under 2000 miles. Love it. Only complaint is there's too much vibration through the throttle. Hands go numb after 20 minutes. Also speedo is def off. 5 mph up to 45 and 8 mph off from there up. There's TH-cam videos on how to set the speedo to show the correct speed. I haven't gotten around to it yet
