Okay but I still think for just a little bit more money you could get a clean C6 Z16 Grand Sport and it’s better than the C5 Z in just about every way. Unless you are just a big fan of the look of the C5 the C6 Z16 GS is just the better option for only another $5000.

Nice and his car was 2001 z06 with 385 hp,the next year in 2002 hp was increased to 405hp and 400 torque. Im gonna buy a 02-04 z next year,throwing cams,heads longtube full exhaust from corsa,swap injectors,fuelrails,add air intake,short throw shifter,then later add a mccloud clutch and do all trans supporting mods and upgrades and a supercharger.

I think it’s better to put a heat sheild to prevent hot air to the filter .. you will lose some hp when the engine become hot I think

Paxton 2200 SL High Output, Detroit rockers cams, flex fuel, Kook’s LT that’s 2k heat treated by jet-hot headers costing , T56 mag xl by lethal performance, with new clutch fly package, ford performance TB, FP manifold, headers over bored and new springs retainers and lifters, polished Hopefully everything will be installed in Jan 2025 What yall think I’m going to make as far as power

12.7 it's a lot. Specially for cammed vette. I go 12.4 this completely stock ls3, even mufflers and cats.

So many things wrong with this setup...oh my God. I can speak cause I'm a Ford mechanic of 22+ years and I'm SVT Certified. But, it's on TH-cam so it must be accurate and right and I'm wrong 😂😂😂 As far as the 5R55S goes, those are good transmissions up to 100k without proper service, you service it, it can last forever. You have a supercharger and that's why it needed rebuilt twice.

Supercharge it. A nice 6-8psi would make the car that much better.

What was the issue with the ABS light on this one?

I am shopping for one now. I will only buy a low mileage completely stock example. Reason being, I trust the GM Engineers for reliability and NOT the aftermarket folks. How much speed do you really need on the street to enjoy the car out of the factory? I'll never track one and get a return on investment. Just my opinion.

I laughed out loud when he said they got every single thing right on the C6 Corvette. Harmonic balancer was still failure prone and the headlight lens covers were notorious for getting cloudy and looking like crap. Not to mention the interiors, and in particular the steering wheel, leave a lot to be desired. Don't get me wrong, I love the C6 Corvettes and think they are great cars but lets be honest about the flaws too.

What year is your C6? They are very close in performance. Is the Zo6 basically 405 hp plus the intake vs your C6 ls2 or ls3 with the intake and long tube headers? You probably have a 25 to 50 hp advantage but they are very close!

my superccharged 03 Z06 with 590 rwhp is still relevant today. So enjoy humiliating new muscle cars when given the chance.

I bought my 06 GT brand new .. I put no money down on it .. almost wrote it off did $25.000 in damaged nut no air bags went off 😳 ive rebuilt motor .. cams .. longtubes and other bolt ons .. I've git over $100.000 .00 😳🤣😂🤮😳 oh well .. I'm 62 yrs old and I drive a truck for a living .. I've put over 275,000 Mike's on it .. can't wait to take it for a rip .. after 18 years I still love it ❤️
